Also with the vapor barrier, if the carpet gets wet when it rains. Get this stuff called butyl tape, it's a black sticky tarry stuff. Remove the barrier and remove the old butyl tape completely and apply new butyl tape to the frame of the door, replace barrier making sure there's a good seal by pushing lightly where the strips of that tape is and put the door back together. You may need to do all 4 doors. But after all doors are done, you'll have dry carpet after rain.
I did that with mine and then went overkill by using Zip flashing tape to completely surround the vapor barrier. I'm in the PacNW where it rains all the time and for the first time, my carpets are dry and my windshield isn't covered in condensation!
@@MrFooqair LOL on flashing tape. But your carpt is dry that's is really good. Also, you want to check and make sure the drains for the moonroof are clogged free. Grab your graden hose or a bucket of water or something that holds water. Pour water out slowly into the frame of the moonroof. Check to see if you get water coming out from the wheelwell. There should be 4 drains, 1 at each of the 4 corners of the frame, if there is a clog get some Drano, NO IM JOKING DO NOT USE DRANO! Just get some craft wire and use it as a snake to unclog. But be careful and use gentle force as you do not want to puncture the draining system. For the rear 2 drains, I don't know what to tell you. I didn't bother with the rear drains of my moonroof. In fact, I am not even sure if there are rear drains. I used a borescope to slither the scope to find the rear drains and I couldn't find them.
quick question i see the yellow connector up by the tweeter. what does that clip into i just took my door apart and connected all the connections but i cant seem to find where that. connects to unfortunatly. it would be a great help if you can assist with that. thanks.

The radio I’m looking to keep thought unless I need to change it. But the speakers I’m looking at changing out and using Bavsound. Do you think I would need a new radio or just the speakers will do fine ? Thanks bro !

I've always been told to replace speakers with ones that are the same impedance otherwise you could damage the speakers or the head unit so I'm not 100% sure if it's a good idea or not
Yep, still working perfectly :) I've had it for over 2 years now and it hasn't missed a beat. I guess it can be hit and miss and you can get a good or bad one but they're really well priced for what you get but yeh, no issues at all with mine

Yep the sound difference is huge. I think they were around $500-600 aud
They sound as good as my Harmon stock stereo in my e39

Yes you can, some companies may make a harness but the best option is probably to just splice in the new radio harness to the factory one in the car.

In my experience from hearing the DSP system in the past, yes they do sound better. Especially if you have a subwoofer added also
