She is something else. What genius.
I can relate to her frustration issues from childhood that she knows she will always resent. I understand the balance of the rational mind and the emotional mind because I am also good at math and business too. I've even had some experience studying art. Now I consider following her example, whether or not I achieve her level of excellence.
This is a fantastic introduction to the conversation that surrounds Louise Bourgeois. I have been deeply moved by her work for as long as I can remember, I recall seeing the monumental spider at the Tate when I was very young. Her work is the interplay between her thought and the emotion, both stronger than the average human, as its so visceral but at the same time so carefully constructed to build these concepts. A genius inventor. Its fantastic to think that now, her work can pave the way for the recognition of other artists which may have escaped the traditional art narrative.
A beautiful summary of Bourgeois's moving work, Louise. We're so pleased you enjoyed the film and thank you for sharing your own evocative thoughts on her creations.
This was very thought-provoking and interesting, it made me very emotional. I had only vaguely heard of her spider (don't know when) and have learned far more so thank you for making this and putting it up here.

I'm a Prisoner of my memories also..I w8sh people would have been kinder to me. Louise cared about people. She was Genuine. That's a rarity these days..

She is such an interesting person and so creative, I love her art and her way of living and thinking. I think much of the music within this video is not the most well suited, like the overly creepy music when talking about the spiders. It's distracting. Otherwise very well made video. I am grateful for any and every opportunity to learn more about Louise Bourgeois

Misschien was het bij haar zo,maar en er is maar een maar, eerst komt het emotionele want dan past het rationele naadloos aan,zo niet dan spreek je van onverschilligheid, zo dan zie ik het volgende het zijn niet de frustraties waar zij zogenaamd mee zat ,maar toekomstbeelden waar zij eerst niet aan dacht of beter niet kon weten ,wat wij nu pas zien wat haar kunstwerken voor stonden, vooral de eerste beelden uit deze video zie je dingen hangen die verdraaid leken, zegt het spreekwoord nog? Ja verkeerd gewikkeld heet het ,deze hangende werken zie je ook terug bij een stiefzus van Máxima ( Inez ? ) die leken op rollade) haar werken waren ook opgehangen aan het plafond en later werd zij dood aangetroffen,ook zij liet ons via kunstwerken iets zien voor wat komen gaat en al te zien is als de grote spin de spiedende camera’s die overal ,in winkels,straat op de weg en in de ruimte worden wij allemaal bespied ,zonder te beseffen dat wij allemaal elkaar bespieden omdat ons wordt voorgeschoteld hoeveel ongure mensen er wel niet zijn , spookbeelden door false Flag onderander wordt gebracht door de media ( geprivatiseerd) dan zie je haar verbeelding kunstwerken seksuele losbandigheid wat nu zo heerst ook sex met meerdere tegelijk en waar geen echte liefde spreekt maar lust ,men gebruikt elkaar als een OBJECT en niet als mens die de andere liefheeft ,dat noemen zij nu APENGEDRAG,maar bij apen is het te doen met dominatie in hun leiderschap,waarschijnlijk kun je het ook vertalen naar mensen toe, het domineren van anderen door sex,geld,machtsuitoefening,misbruik van de zwakkeren, dan de spiegel van Arnolfini geeft ook een beeld aan door de spiegel voor te houden het spiedende oog 👁, er is nog een schilderij ervan die blijkbaar gestolen is ( tussenhaakjes) geeft het ook een verrassende beeld ervan ( plaatje die eens verscheen van het schilderij in een kalender ,vandaar ik het weet, deze mevrouw maakte kunstwerken die nu als een puzzel in elkaar past in deze tijd ,zonder het te beseffen wat zij aan het maken was vandaar haar verklaring omtrent haar moeder maar nu in het licht van deze tijd geeft / roept er nu een heel verrassende rationele beelden op, dus daarmee is de verklaring emotie geeft ratio de echte verklaring van haar werken ,zij werd geleid door de hogere Schepper die haar zo liet ontwerpen van haar werken om de mensheid een beeld te geven dat het verkeerd gewikkeld is als men daarmee God grieft lees de tien geboden dan vindt U het antwoord zelf 🕸🕷wij zijn onze eigen spinnenweb aan het creëren,onze eigen draken 🐉
