Excellent app. Use it all the time..
Done over 4k miles using it. No problems.
I use the "here we go free offline sat nav. All over uk France France Belgium Germany and Ireland. You just need your mobile data on to find your destination then turn off data. Works off gps. Also gives you 3 different routes. I find it excellent. Just bluetooth it to your earpiece.
I have found that if I choose the most twisty route, Calimoto will send me off the main route for a dog-leg and then right back on the main route (an unnecessary twisty bit). The second most twisty route is better (for me). Garmin Zumo did the same thing.

"Camels toe's? cali moto?..." After about 15 agonizing videos on creating routes and transferring them to a GPS, I finally laughed.

Tried a few of the apps and for route planning My Route app is so much better. It also exports usable gpx files, which Calimoto can’t do.

My experience calamoto works well with calamoto routes as soon as you start importing or exporting to other systems you will have issues.
I had to stop using it as it sometimes (nearly all the time) refused to accept the most direct route using motorways. Also once it looses its direction you could be 5 miles off course before its starts directing you back to the correct route.

Hi guys. I find the user interface incomprehensible. When I'm riding My focus must be on the road with no distractions. Needs to simplified with a better interface IMHO.

One failing you can’t set a trip from the U.K. to somewhere in Europe as it can’t combine left and right riding.
Why would you want to? Just break the trip into the trip to the ferry/Chunnel and then just add your destination in Europe when you get the other side. Personally I never plan a whole days ride with any app, half day at the most, half the fun.
Unfortunately the full app functionality is only available via a subscription-based license scheme. The "Full Maps" package is the only single payment (100 €) option but it leaves out a number of potentially interesting features such as the "Twisty Route" and "Sights and other points of interest" options. I'll stick to the BMW Motorrad Connected app for now.
