Many people are aware of the search for Riley Strain, which dominated the news cycle throughout March of 2024. What fewer people know is that, as search teams scoured Nashville looking for the missing college student, a lesser known yet extremely mysterious disappearance was under investigation just minutes away in a rural community outside of Hendersonville, TN. Over 200 officials from a dozen agencies were on the hunt for Sebastian Rogers, a 15 year old autistic boy who went missing in the early hours of February 26th 2024; and it makes Riley's case seem straightforward. Will we be able to uncover the truth about what happened to Sebastian Rogers, or will those responsible escape justice? Welcome back to The Lore Lodge...

Isopropyl Alcohol is used to make HASH THC and also RESIN HASH from cleaning pieces and you are able to consume these BOTH as Smoking, Vaping, AND Eating, as it chemically changes the process of the THC into just like what decarboxylation and heat treating will do to Flower Marijuana to make into Butters and Edibles. That also is a laughable amount of THC in his body compared to what those who have ridiculous tolerances like myself that use medically daily for chronic pain, I bet you money, if my body got a toxicology right meow, it would have incredibly more THC in it than him. ALSO, the Isopropyl Alcohol could contribute to his BAC as well since he was combining Drinking with THC consumption, which I don't ever recommend, but this honestly is really actually very NORMAL for regular THC consumers. @thelorelodge
How does using delete me make it easier for you to find people?
You should look into the disappearance of Orin and Orson West. It was big here in Kern county. Two toddlers go missing. We're all pretty sure that they were un-alived by their family members. It was a pretty big scandal. Something to consider because so far as I know they still haven't found those two boys.
Investigators say there is ZERO evidence to prove he was kidnapped. His mother says he walked out the front door and she's never once asked for his safe return from any kidnapper.
@@privateprivate6046 oh trust me, it’s a kidnapping. Part two is coming out Friday.
As someone who lives in the area, I can attest, the police are still investigating, and the community has not forgotten about Sebastian. We are all still looking
What do you think happened?
@@privateprivate6046 We only hope for the best and try not to jump to conclusions. There's very little evidence one way or the other
@@privateprivate6046The mother later stated that she thinks someone has her son. After the searching by LE and nothing found.
I’m praying that he is found alive. ❤
@@privateprivate6046 That is one of the first questions i asked when i saw the title, no shade, just wondering where the title of kidnapping came from. There are still a few misinformation's listed in this video as well. Katie didn't call the police, she called her husband and they did a three way call with the sheriff's office. Among other information that isnt exactly correct. Still hopeful that Sebastian comes home, runaway, or otherwise.
When I heard that Sebastian was once found hiding under a neighbor's car, it reminded me of an incident where my brother, when he was about 8, was found hiding under my parents' car by me after he had suffered one of the regular occurences of physical and psychological abuse by our father.
Yeah. Unless it was part of a hide and seek type of game, it does beg the question: What was he hiding from? Because the incident is specifically mentioned, it makes it seem like he isn't the type of kid that just likes to hide randomly.
That was my thought as well. My hair immediately stood on end, especially with his parents lack of communication with the media. I understand everyone is different but as a mom, I could never not address the public for help in looking for my child.
Another neighbor said he wasn't hiding under the car he was after a neighborhood cat
I hope you're both away from your father, safe and happy now.
@Enoo-Wynn thank you. We both are middle-aged now. I'm doing okay, but my brother had had a lot of ongoing problems, has trouble holding a job, anger management problems, alcoholism, etc, and can't seem to commit to therapy. He is distrustful of secular therapists and doctors (he is fanatically religious).
“You’re too drunk - go home from the bar alone” is a terrible policy
But it’s also a liability to keep them on the premises
“Go back to your hotel in this strange city alone.”
I can’t imagine how disappointed his parents are in his fraternity “brothers”.
It's also historically been bad to go home alone from the police station after being held for intoxication.
@@MKUltra42 yeah friends don't let friends wander off drunk.
Not if you are working with the bus boys who ski mask up, rob them a block away and be back washing dishes for an Al-ih-bi and splitting up the take before the mug realize hes asleep in a ditch
As an autistic person who also has issues not wearing shoes, that really sticks out to me. Shoes aren’t an after thought. One step without them becomes my entire focus. I literally curl up into a ball and fall on my side to avoid touching my foot to the ground.
Everyone with autism is different, but it definitely makes it hard for me to believe he walked away without shoes on purpose.
Of course he didn't and there's no evidence at all of a kidnapping.
The mom has the answers.
I'm autistic and hate wearing shoes and socks. I feel like my feet are suffocating and especially hate it when my feet sweat in socks.
We definitely are all different 😆
@@pettykittyfamI dunno man, one thing I'm wondering is if he met someone at the bowling alley and they lured him out to go somewhere with them.. that said, I don't know enough to know if this is even possible. Like, I don't even know yet how he got out of the house. Window? Door?
@@MikadoYuma have you ever wore crocs before? They are so light and breathable because of all the holes that you put charms in to customize them.
The shoe thing stuck out to me too. Someone with Autism can be hyper focused on something like that. If he could even go out without them he wouldn't be able to stop thinking about it. IMO I think he wouldn't have left the house willingly without them. Only takes a second to put them on.
Whoa. One of those rare times it's actually a mannequin. I've been wanting to get a shirt that says: It's never a mannequin

Maybe the oddly of the mannequin wasn't so odd🤔? Mayb was put there to lure this young man . Mayb someone with a familiar voice was near but out of sight (camera sight)🤔🤔
I do like ur comment about a shirt that would haralious on a shirt👍
As a microbiologist who works in a lab where we use isopropyl alcohol as a disinfectant (and also someone who’s gone to rehab for alcohol)- both places told me you can test above the detection threshold when working with isopropyl alcohol regularly. It can absorb through your skin. People have tested positive before after using hand sanitizer, there are papers written about it. Just food for thought
Debetic ketoacidosis produces iso alcohol also.
There are many OTC things that will produce a BAC reading and Altitude will also play a significant role in a BAC reading.
Detection threshold and reporting threshold are two different things, no?
So pleased that you are helping keep Sebastian’s name out there. My only advice, since having rode the venomous roller coaster that is sadly attached to Sebastian’s disappearance, is to ask you to kindly consider steering clear of certain biased YT content creators who are spreading malicious stories about one parent while giving a free range platform to another.
Im sure you will be able to decipher who is who as you watch more videos. The toxicity around this case is disturbing and extremely exhausting.
Watching your video was refreshing. This is exactly the type of content that all creators should aspire to. Facts only and no side game. Thank you for this breath of fresh air.
I appreciate that!
And as for how I’m doing the research, I’m only working with information that I can either independently verify or came from the involved parties themselves.

It's just horrific to think Riley didn't have a group of friends that would look out for each other. I've found my besties drunk, sitting on a bench with homeless people, drinking moonshine. I've stopped another one from going with a man that promised her 'ice cream'. It's dangerous out there! Stay together, look out for each other! If you don't have friends that could, don't go out drinking with them!!! In my group we had one that would always stay sober/very little drinks that would look out for bags and the rest of us. It worked and definitely kept us safe.
What's probably the saddest part is that he felt like he had to pretend he's ok going past the cop. I am not sure if he just didn't want his parents to find out how drunk he was, but I am sure his parents would rather have a cop call them their son can't find his way home or pick him from hospital after he has his stomach pumped...
His friends were looking out for him. The security who kicked him out separated him from their group and they couldn’t find him after that. I live here
Sounds like you need a better group of friends
I think it is also different for men and women. Girl friend groups are usually aware that if your female friend is absolutely wasted and you leave her alone, someone is going to try to take advantage of her being fucked up. Guy friend groups i think main concerns about their guy friend being drunk is that they might get in trouble or get in a fight. Of course men also do get taken advantage of when they are in more vulnerable state from being drunk as well, but i do not think it is something men think about nearly as much as women do because women are much more likely to be targeted.
I’m a forensic scientist (forensic anthropology) and I can address many of your issues/questions.
ETA: 0.1: Isopropanol
I’m not a forensic toxicologist and haven’t studied it depth, but I do know hypothermia can contribute to isopropanol being found in an autopsy. I know there are other causes but this relates to a point I’ll later make about hypothermia. Another thing is that with decomposing bodies, chemical composition can sometimes compromise certain toxicology findings. It can lead to traces of chemicals you might not expect or change things like BAC.
1. Rigor Mortis.
Rigor varies far more than you stated. It’s highly variable with many factors aside from temperature and time of death. The study you cited is quite limited in its scope.
Rigor affects the muscles of the body, and you mention it being ‘in the joints’. I’m assuming you’re referring to something stated in the autopsy directly.
The joints are affected because of the muscles. The way you describe it makes it seem to me like the rigor was almost ended and not affecting the full muscle groups.
Since we don’t fully understand all of the factors that cause variation from person to person in rigor and it’s not especially anomalous (the water temp you mentioned is still pretty cold and would refrigerate the body fairly effectively) I don’t see this as remarkable or suspicious.
2. The lack of major injuries.
It would be easier to address if I read the autopsy report, but all autopsies have diagrams illustrating where any injuries are sustained. I’m assuming since you said no major injuries there were minor injuries you didn’t mention, i.e abrasions and minor cuts.
An interesting fact about extremely intoxicated people is that part of the reason they often come out of major accidents with lesser injuries than sober people is because they don’t brace themselves or tense up the way a person with all their faculties in tact instinctively will.
The unedited video footage seems like he stumbled and hit his head, so he might have had a light concussion in addition to his high level of intoxication.
This means when he fell he was likely quite limp, which could be the difference between major injuries and minor ones.
The fact he was caked in mud suggests he might have slid through mud on the way in that helped protect him, although it could just be staining from submersion in muddy water or from contact with a muddy bank.
Another thing about the high alcohol level in his system is that although we feel warmer when we drink it actually speeds and helps induce hypothermia. He didn’t die from it, but it certainly could have factored in to him drowning by exhausting him.
He could have gotten lucky when he fell, sustaining no major injuries only to be too impaired by alcohol and a possible concussion to help himself and succumbed to exhaustion or unconsciousness brought about by the alcohol and exhaustion from cold water, as well as a possible concussion. You can easily sustain a minor concussion without notable visible trauma.
Any bruises and abrasions would be hard to distinguish from something sustained from tumbling into the water and from any bumps that took place after. Floating down the river definitely would have left abrasions (and bruising when he was alive) and we don’t know how long he was alive in the river getting banged up on debris like branches and rocks. Some post mortem abrasions are difficult to differentiate from ones that happen immediately preceding death.
It might seem unlikely he could have that fall without major injuries but it happens all the time. People walk away from accidents with no major injuries where others sustain broken bones or even get killed. It’s not unusual to see at all.
3: Drowning.
I believe you mentioned in the first video no water was found in his lungs even though it wasn’t mentioned here. If this is true, that doesn’t mean he didn’t drown. People who drown don’t usually have that much fluid in their lungs and it’s a false idea that if there’s no water found in the lungs the person couldn’t have drowned.
People do drown and are found to have no water in their lungs. In bodies where decomposition has set in and the lungs are breaking down it’s pretty common that the small amount of water you might have found can be more or less dissipated during the decomposition process.
The fact they mentioned ethanol poisoning essentially means they believe his intoxication was directly tied to his death, so it sounds like their findings are that he fell in due to accute intoxication and drowned as a result.
4: The state of the body in general.
I’ve dealt with plenty of bodies that have been submerged in water and people are often shocked at how well preserved they can be and think it must mean their deaths occurred much later than they did. Likewise, bodies in and out of water can rapidly decompose and seem like the person was dead significantly earlier than is known to be true.
Estimating time of death in many cases is far from an exact science even for experts. Part of my specialty is trying to determine time of death when extreme decomposition has happened.
This is why we have ‘body farms’ to study human decomposition under every conceivable condition. There are just too many variables to give straightforward guidelines.
If people with countless years of study and research don’t find it suspicious then it’s probably for good reason. It’s an exceedingly complex subject that laypeople don’t really understand the nuances of, understandably, so they think things seem anomalous or suspicious when people who specialise in those areas know enough to be confident there’s nothing to investigate.
Having seen bodies in remarkable states of preservation and even rigor after being in the water for varying amounts of time I can very much understand both why people find it strange and why the medical examiner determined it wasn’t suspicious.
5. The video.
There are many reasons police withhold unedited footage. My undergrad was in criminology and it’s pretty standard. In a case like this there are a few reasons I can think of but can only speculate. Police can definitely be shady and sometimes withhold footage and information after a case is seemingly closed because of suspicions of foul play but that’s probably not the case here since it seems the autopsy excludes foul play. I’m just saying there are very legitimate reasons this happens, and it shouldn’t be assumed they’re trying to mislead the public. Generally if they want to mislead anyone, it’s suspects, not so much the public. Not saying that never happens, but there are generally legitimate reasons including the family requesting footage be withheld.
If I read the autopsy I’m sure I could be more thorough and less speculative but I never read autopsy reports unless they’re related to study, research or work. I’m not judging people who do, especially if they’re publicly available, but I personally feel it’s an ethical boundary for me I’m not willing to cross. I hope this is informative and helpful though.
I love that you took the time answer all these questions. What are your opinions on the 2 boys from Arkansas found on the train track. I believe late 80s or early 90s. I have considered donationg my body to the body farm here in Tennessee. If only for knowledge to move forensics forward. Thank you.

You stirred my curiosity in what one looks at to determine the PMI for carcasses found in water, and I had to google it. Fascinating.
Thank you so much for the information. This case is tragic, but not a mystery to me and your explanations helped confirm that.
I agree 100%! I’m a nurse and my husband is a police officer. We do not have the extensive specialized knowledge that you do regarding the science of all of the above, but both have had a lot of experience with these types of situations due to our schooling and professions. I’m also not a conspiracy theorist and tend to believe in Occam’s Razor. The toxicology I know can be altered naturally when a person dies for many different reasons and from many different factors causing our bodies to alter or produce some strange chemical reactions. I also completely agree about a heavily intoxicated person falling-a lot or like mentioned, walking away from some pretty gnarly accidents unscathed because exactly like you brought up, they don’t tense up or brace themselves like someone typically would. There’s so many factors that could’ve played into this but I just don’t feel it was foul play. Same with the major of the “Smiley Face” incidents. And the ones in Austin, which is about 45 minutes from where I live. Mixing heavily intoxicated people who are often also under the influence of drugs and or regularly prescribed meds that can be exacerbated by alcohol, mostly in other urban settings surrounded by active nightlife-bars, tourist areas of large cities, or even at parties, all pretty close to large bodies of water late at night. They get separated for whatever reasons from their friends and unfortunately end up falling somehow into the water and the rest is history. Sure, people can and have been victims of foul play and people have been prayed upon and people have been slipped a drug to rob them or take advantage of them and people have met foul and were targeted for whatever reason and people have committed sui*ide etc. Anything COULD happen and strange things HAVE happened but it is not the norm nor typical.

Ah, a quote. Still dumb though

🙄
The 2 ways I can think of that one would ingest isopropyl alcohol are through mouthwash and moonshine. Some people, especially those with addictions, have been known to turn to mouthwash when they can't find/afford/get served ethanol products, and many mouthwashes contain isopropyl alcohol. It sounds off the wall but is more common than one would think.
With moonshine, some producers have been known to add isopropyl alcohol to "cut" the product, or to give it more of a bite, despite it being poisonous.
Yeah, I knew an alcoholic that wasn't suppose to drink due to a DUI, and he'd take the bus to the pharmacy everyday to buy mouthwash to drink
Gross @@bloodyneptune
A dude I was in basic training with mixed salt with hand sanitizer to liquefy it and got so drunk he had to be carried away in an ambulance
I would also like to bring up the fact that drunk people usually have fewer injuries due to not bracing for impact.
Poorly made moonshine can contain isopropyl alcohol.
The amount of disappearances like this is unnerving.

The sheer number of people combined with the massive amount of area to disappear into - be it woods, back alleys or industrial parks.

I'm so glad you brought Sebastian Rogers back into the spotlight. At the time his case came out (possibly mistaken but I remember it being the same day), so did that of Madeline Soto. My mother and I were shocked at the behavior of both sets of parents. They immediately struck us as bizzare and worrisome, with Maddy's being particularly striking. However, because Maddy's disappearance seemed obvious from the beginning, was solved relatively quickly and being fairly local to us, we forgot about poor Sebastian almost immediately. The news handles all of this poorly. 2) 24:35, our distress tends to be very different from neurotypicals, what others see as something small or be able to power through it, an Autistic person might have a panic attack or a meltdown(we fully shut down and physically can not function). it is weird for anyone, but especially a Autistic person, to just leave in the night, our brains work differently then others we tend to make more logical(rather than emotional) decisions(we also tend to overthink a lot), and that kind of leaving/change would be very distressing(could cause panic attacks level)

Look I'm sorry to tell you but thats just incorrect. Parents, like all people, have sleep cycles, and sometimes that will cause them to be unable to wake up without extreme stimuli. My dad suffered from that, he'd have to literally have his alarm 2 inches from his ear in order to wake up. Just because you can wake up easily doesn't mean everyone can.
Thank you so much !!!! And thanks to the Cyrus family for contacting you. It’s great to hear “just the facts”.
Living in the Middle Tennessee area, this case is very close to my heart. I have followed it very closely. My girlfriend lives in Hendersonville, so I know the area very well. Having children Sebastian's age it hits close to home for me. The local news made comments about how Sebastian loves to play hide and seek, so he might have thought hiding from rescue workers as a game. Me, and everyone I have talked about this case with, think his step father had a hand in his disappearance. Alot about this case makes no sense. Drowning and his body being carried away is possible.
I'm from the area where sebastian went missing
people and police are still looking for him combing the woods ect
no one has forgotten
I hope you come home sebastian
Thanks for covering Sebastian Roger’s and for the Riley update. BTW. Another dead body in Lady Bird Lake in Austin since your video…
Seriously?!
sad times
My wife and I have two boys on the spectrum, so this story really hit home for us, especially her. I graduated from White House HS, and that was a little detail I wasn't aware of before that makes this case all the more surreal for me.
Thanks for covering this! This case has remained at the forefront of local news, but I’m not sure how widespread the story has been. The more eyes we have on this, the better.
Given how much ingested THC and isopropyl alcohol was in Riley's system, you may want to consider that someone tried to extract THC from shake and leftover junk weed with isopropyl alcohol. THC is soluble in ethanol and isopropyl alcohol. If someone used 70% isopropyl and thought they had boiled off the alcohol and left only the 30% water behind (not how evaporation actually works) but weren't as thorough as they thought, it would be easy enough to ingest a lot more isopropyl than someone reasonably should. Someone who knows what they are doing would have used something like Everclear or a similarly potent neutral grain alcohol but isopropyl alcohol is much cheaper and easier to get 24/7.
Found this channel a week ago via Wendigoon. With everything from history to Missing 411 content you’ve got an absolutely incredible wealth of content man! Keep it up!
First, regarding Riley, I live in Nashville and have 2 kids in Greek life in other states. They go to formals and other out of town events all the time. Huge rule.... you NEVER leave your friend behind. My son & his girlfriend talked about one of his friends they always have to walk back to the hotel. As far as the fall and isopropyl alcohol, the area he fell in is easy to fall in dead sober. They found 3 bodies while looking for Riley. It is possible to roll down the embankment without too many injuries. A lot of our homeless population drinks watered down isopropyl alcohol. It's possible he may have gotten a drink from one of them, or his friends were stupid and played a prank on him.
Regarding Sebastian, I believe kids from his school lured him out to prank him, and things went too far. He lives right by the high school, and according to all parents, he wanted friends more than anything. Unfortunately, he also lives very close to the same river Riley was found in, but here it is dammed off into a lake. His neighborhood was still being built and had no street lights, which made it hard for cameras to pick up anything unless it lit up. This is why I don't believe the Proudfoots were involved. Their vehicles' brake lights or head lights would be caught very easily in the dark area. It also makes no sense that the stepfather would drive from Memphis to Nashville to harm him and then be back at work on time in Memphis in the early morning. Sebastian also could have become a runner. I know his parents said he was not, but he is a teenager, and puberty affects medications a great deal. It could have been a case of be wasn't a runner yet. When my son was that age, it seemed that we were constantly changing medications, and with each one, there were new side effects we had never seen or expected. One even caused auditory and visual hallucinations. The police did do an extensive search for him. We live close to 10 miles away, and our neighborhood was blocked off for the police to search outbuildings ,crawlspaces, and woods. The reason I think it was other kids is the flashlight footage Nick Beras showed. The police said it was a trash truck, but if that were the case, why would it be in the backyards of homes and not on the street. I think they just do not want to reveal all the details they have yet.
When all is said and done about this poor kid Sebastian, I believe it will come out that his Mother & Stepfather got rid of him!
Just wanted to drop a quick comment to say how much I enjoy and respect your channel. You're a great and fair investigator, presenting well-researched facts and not jumping to conclusions or conspiracy theories for clicks. I'm also impressed with what a knowledgable and positive community you've built. I look forward to reading the comments and seeing what interesting information or answered questions your audience posts. Keep up the great work!
I will never believe he walked away
Oh he absolutely didn’t just walk away.
What about the footprints?
@@jenniferholich9592 didn’t lead from the house
Same!
SEBASTIAN tried numerous times to tell people that he was being abused, no one listened. He didn't walk away, no scent and no shoes. His mom amd step dad had CPS cases due to SEBASTIAN trying to get help from these monsters.
Have they searched the property yet?
@NanaBren Numerous times via dogs and heat signals, along with cars. Full forensics is not confirmed.
Don't forget. Sebastian also called CPS on Seth.
Sebastian did NOT want to move in with Seth as he was no longer going to be going to regular school, and was going to be homeschooled instead. He was not happy about that.
@wildflower868 The information you present, was obtained in court paperwork via Katie's account. The court held no merit to Katie's account and allocated 50/50 custody to Seth. What of this do you struggle to process? Allegations are NOT fact.
Your secondary allegation, upon what Sebastian 'wanted' is conjecture at best, do better.
@@Posithope Oh lord, this is a mess. I’m sorry for Sebastian. He doesn’t sound like he was happy anywhere. Fifteen is a tough age for anyone, but he sounds like he was really struggling. If it wasn’t for the shoes, I would think he left on his own. My granddaughter with autism has been abused at school and she has a volatile personality that can erupt in violence. Her mom is single with 4 kids. I help all I can. I can see Alexis stomping out in anger, but not ever without shoes and her phone. She is 14 and has a fraternal twin. Sebastian sounds trapped in a bad situation. I just hope he is somewhere safe and not hurt. 😞
I haven't looked at the Sebastian Rogers case in a while, but I remember my initial thought being that someone overdosed him on whatever they used to make him sleep when they wanted him out of the way for a while.
But if they walked him around the pond first, before they took him home, to confuse the search, that sounds more like a deliberate act.
Maybe the mannequin was deliberate too
@saphire1sababy378 maybe. I think we're working with something between Cayce Anthony-- who seems to have used drugs as a babysitter--- and Susan Smith: who killed her kids because the guy she wanted to be with didn't want kids.
If I remember right, the stepfather in this case saw Sébastien as an obstacle to getting custody of his own kids, so he had either already left or was threatening to leave the marriage.
@@saphire1sababy378 I thought the mannequin was just something to do with hunting, but that's me telling you that I know nothing about hunting, without me telling you that I know nothing about hunting😊
@@Silver_Girl178 ya apparently locals put out these 'sasquatch" things out regularly. Allegedly.
I love how you briefly educated people on autism and sensory issues. I have an autistic son and appreciate the content ❤
The lack of ANY surveillance footage suggests to be that the boy never actually left his home.
Or that he left in a vehicle.
@@TheLoreLodge Touché.
His mother and stepfather know where he is. I’m from Tennessee and I’m so disappointed in the TBI. They haven’t found Summer OR Sebastian.
Compared to places like Florida and Colorado, the TBI seems very limited in their capabilities.
Wait, who’s Summer?
@@TheLoreLodge Summer Wells. She went missing 3 years ago in 2021. It’s a huge case and every bit if not more messy than the disappearance of Sebastian Rogers. Her parents, Candus and Don Wells are very problematic. She was 5 years old when she disappeared, just vanished, from their rural home.
I was actually looking for updates on Summer just the other day. Her case haunts me and breaks my heart.
@@MKUltra42Yes, I cannot believe that they have not yet found even a shred of evidence to point to what happened Summer yet!
As the Mother of an Autistic child, cases like this upset me. His Mom and Stepdad are guilty of something, in my opinion. Thank you for covering this ❤
It's pretty awesome that a Cyrus brother came to Aiden for help. I wish more famous/rich people would participate in more important things like this. Like imagine if people who actually have resources and pull in higher society helping put an end to not only corruption at a certain level but also using their platforms to bring more awareness/reaching out to others for help on these matters?
I see two real options,
He was murdered by his parents (specifically the stepdad) bc well disabled people are more likely than their abled peers to be murdered or otherwise injured by their parents.
And two he actually ran away for some reason
I say this as someone who contemplated running away a few times, who is autistic, leaving the phone (easy gps tracking) and shoes (probably had a second pair either brand newly bought or old and believed to have been thrown out ) is an easy diversion.
As would be wading through the pond, which could wash off your scent. Pack a change of clothes in a different style, perhaps placed out at the school grounds the day/days prior, cheap black hair dye, a cheap new pair of glasses/old pair that still works, snacks accumulated over time and a friend(or predator in disguise) which could house him until he hit 18. Add some funky makeup, it leads to a person who would 'look' too far off their description to be 'recognized' by strangers.
There was the case with the girl who did just the same thing, left out her window and over the fence to be picked up by someone unknown who only reached out after her 18th birthday to say " hey im not missing, take me off that list please"
Yes, I remember this girl, she was also on the spectrum
@@SpecialEdTalkand it's highly suspected she was groomed to say that. Hope her life is OK if and when she starts to wake up.....

Thank you so much for doing this for Sebastian. It is so refreshing to hear the story without all the parental drama! I have been following this story from day one. Thank you, again!
Reminds me of the case of Ryan Larsen. Disappeared in May 2021 from Papillion (Omaha) NE. He's on the spectrum & was only 11 years old when he went missing. On foot, slipped away from school, scent trails led to water..etc. And then nothing.
Is he still gone?? I remember that 😢
@@heathernikki5734 He's not been found as of July 2024. Just walked away from school and disappeared into thin air seemingly.
I lived there during Ryan going missing. Absolutely heart breaking.
Sebastian went to school with my cousin’s kids in Hendersonville, so this one really hits close to home. My aunt used to always take me to strike n spare when we visited.
Thanks for covering Riley Strain again. His case is so heartbreaking. As for Sebastian, yes that case is a mess.
I have to say a long with absolutely loving you're content. I respect the hell out the both of you for the integrity and discipline you approach stories with. It such a breath of fresh air seeing someone who genuinely cares about doing telling the truth as they see it. Huge thank you for it all.
So sad and horrifying to see kids getting hurt and/or lost, I'm a mom and this world is messed up protect your children
Thank you for this have been following from day one Im devestated for Sebastian this is a nightmare 😢
Long time security personelle here; you would be VERY SURPRISED how many places, -government owned or not- claim to be 24/7 surveillanced/have working cameras, but actually dont. Or the cameras go down and they drag ass in fixing them, etc. My current "24/7 surveillance" site hasnt had working cameras in going on 3 weeks rn.
This is my home state and I live not far from where this kidnapping happened. Makes me so nervous when these kids disappear and we have no answers.
Idk if I've ever heard a case before where it turns out it's actually a mannequin. It's never a mannequin.
My horror brain asked if the police checked inside the mannequin.
Imagine popping the plastic face plate off and finding a face ...
@@michaeldayman682That's twisted. You should write horror movie scripts. 😅
There are probably a ton of cases where it was actually a mannequin. You’ll just never hear about them because there’s no point in reporting that someone found a mannequin.
Thank you for covering this story. Let’s find Sebastian.
An autistic child in NE disappeared from school grounds a couple years ago and there have search parties out but they have never found him. My autistic child is 10 but developmentally more like 6 and these things terrify me.
Im so excited that you covered this. Your research and ethical reporting are unmatched!! Love that you covered it!!
Can you add to the title that this video is a Riley update too? I think that many people care about Riley's case too and are hoping for updates.
All the best and thank you for all your work❤
Glad to see LL cover this. This kid did not get enough coverage.
Exactly! I am a local so plenty of coverage here but I got my hubby tickets to crime con which was in Nashville this year and it seemed no one we talked to had heard about it.
My only experience with your discord is joining, reading the rules, hopping into the general chat, finding a heated discussion on politics, and when a mod was tagged their response was to scold the person for pinging them, try and fail to lock the channel, and then just bail. 0/10 experience, and you definitely need better staff if that is how they handle situations
Agreed. Most discord servers around decent content are the total opposite of how friendly the content actually is.
As heart breaking as these cases are i really wanna thank you guys for bringing eyes and ears to these cases
Thanks for some facts! Finally. So much of this I haven’t heard
When he left his phone and shoes it sounds like the parents did it unless the kid would walk outside when a creeper knocks on the window
That proudfoot step dad has dead eyes
Oh just wait for next week
The stepdad seems like a total prick. He hit Sebastian with a belt and he was like 14 or 15. Honestly all three parents seem like not great people.
I think Sebastian was sick of all of them and had a pair of shoes hidden and put them on and took off. Unfortunately I don’t think he meant to be gone permanently.
Soon as I heard, he had hidden under a car. I thought abuse. @MKUltra42
@@MKUltra42didn't they find foot steps near the pond? Were they bare footsteps or with shoes?
@@specialsause949speculation has been a shoeprint size 10 and a smaller barefoot print.
I hope they find him. Such a sad story. Also extremely sad about Riley.
This is absolutely insane, I never expected to hear about the town I grew up in while listening to a LORE LODGE video.
i think it's insane that someone especially a child could disappear and not be seen on any cameras anywhere
There's like nothing out that way. I went to Beech in the late 90s and it was less populated then but even now, that area is kind of "out there". They've built a couple of what looks like VERY small subdivisions off that highway but there's still plenty of open and wooded area surrounding it all. And those "subdivisions" are the kind with hundreds of houses. Last time I was up there, the few in the area were all separated, and you could easily get off your street without being seen. It's only a few minutes from Hendersonville proper, where it gets really busy and crowded, but I think most people out that way aren't that worried about crime. Most opportunist criminals aren't going to go out of their way to try to break into a house where there's only 1 highway to get away and a bunch of people own guns.
@@mommy2libras still the fact that they weren't seen on any trail cams or any type of home security system is kinda baffling because in most suburbs like that you can't walk on the sidewalk without a ring camera variant getting a recording of it. but i do see your point that it is in a relatively secluded area outside of the neighborhoods.
@@DietSpineI think it's because there are no streetlights in his neighborhood, however there are cameras and lights going into it and all outside of it. I think if any of the parents were involved they would have picked that up fairly quickly.
Thank you so much for covering this! This hits super close to home for me. I’m only a couple of counties over and I’ve been praying for any closure in this case.
The behaviour of the mother and step-father is very suspicious. I'm not saying they're responsible, but it seems strange that they're not out there with the father at every opportunity.
I remember a case where the parents of a missing boy refused to do interviews or talk to the media. It turned out that they were in the process of adopting the missing boy at the time and legally weren't allowed to come forward. Everyone assumed they wete involved until they were allowed to come forward and explain
Straight putting peoples addresses who wouldn’t give the police camera footage or weren’t home is a great way to have true crime crazies calling them or accusing them of this
Don't mind the divargency, no 15yo is going anywhere in 2024 without shoes and their PHONE... teens and adults are very much attached to their phones, for good or bad, It provides some security and even confort, is hella weird a teen would forego their phone going anywhere, most dont even go to the bathroom without it.
Pls clean your phones
Every time the parents are not helping or acting shady, they are the ones that know the truth

Excellent video's. Rapid fire informaton with level headed, common sense presentation. Thank you!!!
I believe Katie and the stepdads 3 hr phone call is very suspicious. Who talks to their spouse that long unless a cover up was being planned. Around the time of the flashlights being seen a suv was spotted parked on the street where Katie and Chris (step dad) backyard goes thru the neighbors backyard and comes out at. I think Sebastian was being delivered to that suv unalived. The stepdads mom (Terri Bowersox) was seen at a gas station near the home around 6am. She drives a suv that has the same layout as the one spotted parked on the street around the time flashlights were seen. She admits to being at gas station but won’t say why. On the Nancy Grace show the bio dad (Seth) says he thinks Katie over medicated Sebastian and that resulted in his death. Comments from the stepdad(Chris) like, “this will be a case that’s studied for years”, and “he’s never gonna be found”, make it seem as Sebastian has been unalived and he and the mom knows more. Katie and Chris were both ex military so should both own pickle bags. The long green bags they get to keep after service. Makes me wonder if both those bags are accounted for. There’s also video footage online that shows shadows of ppl outside that looks like there is a struggle going on. The stepdad Chris has family that works for the sheriff’s office that is conducting this case. Many think that is why there has not been any arrests made. Hopefully that’s untrue and they’re just gathering more evidence first. The sheriffs office not treating this case as criminal in the beginning has resulted in things like luminal not being used etc. Makes you wonder is they’re protecting this family bc of family members working there. They refuse to turn the case over to the fbi.
The case is extremely sad and we know after 48 hrs that the probability that the victim is alive is very low. It seems like CP wanted his daughter and did not want Sebastian in the home. I’m perplexed as to how he got custody with this missing persons case looming. They seem to have connections in more than one area….

May I ask why so many people are certain that long phone calls are linked to crime? I've had dozens, if not hundreds, of >1 hrs phone calls, none of them even remotely linked to crime. Most people I know are the same. What is the big idea that phone calls are linked to crime?
