Ryan Lendt brought me here 😊
I feel like this dude and Ryan would get along well
Monster player! Very underrated! His groove and pocket are razor sharp and the man's got some tasty licks! 🔥🔥🔥
A good rock n roller can play with 2 promille!❤❤❤
Was a great time at the House of Blues in Chicago back maybe 1999 had the good fortune to open for you guys. You and Chris were were a gas, the bass player and drummer kind of stayed off to themselves. Thank you good sir. The WarBrides.
Always thought Spin Doctors was one of the all-time best 3-piece bands. They were always IN THE POCKET! Great stuff.
Don't have to play it perfectly, just have to play it badass. Love it!
How pissed?!?! What a legend.
Honestly, this was DEEPLY helpful in my learning process for this song! Seeing how Eric does specific little things really helps me get a better sound out! Thank you!
I think this is one of the most valuable Vidoes on youtube ever made!
A guitar lesson by the original musician himself, priceless for everyone who wanna learn this masterpiece of a Song or just the bluesy solo.
Thanks so much for sharing.!
Well that was a lot of fun. It's easy to see why the Spin Doctors always seemed to enjoy what they were doing. Eric is a blast and a great player to boot. Thanks Eric.
WOW what a guitarist!

Words to live by!
I gotta get that on a TShirt!
No pretense to this totally honest performer. God Bless ya Man! So righteous to see an axe man that isn’t full of himself. I’ve played that tune a number of times and I’ve made more than one mistake and did not write it. Thank you for giving a sh!t about us in the crowd. It really makes a huge difference. And it doesn’t go unnoticed.
I love your style Eric ! Litte miss cant be wrong sold me. !
What a dude. Love this guy. Awesome tune too. Learning it for my band atm Thanks Eric
Learned a couple of cool chord voicings from that... Cool song... Cool lesson... Cool Teacher. 😎 Thanks Eric!🤘👍
"I only blew ONE note in that solo!"
Wish I could like this more than once. Thx man.
Awesome solo!
Absolutely fantastic! Never was the biggest fan of this song and finally this solo caught up to me recently and had me hooked. True talent.
Thats whats Rock n Roll is all about...
Loved that
Why is he in a cave?
To contain the good vibes, if they got out the world would be all unicorns and sparkles.
cool to share this moment with us.Really nice guy ,go ahead mate.
Totally playin it BadAss Eric, what a Blues-Solo off the charts
Amazing tutorial! Thanks Eric!!!
Brilliant guitarist!!❤❤
THANK YOU!!!!!!! I have to play this song in a few days. To see and hear this, from the source, is amazing. To be able to hear this in isolation saved a ton of time. Thanks again!
wouldn't you know it. I learned this perfectly and it was the one song the band opted to not play. figures
If only people knew how good they solo is playing wise ✌
That was awesome 👏👏💪🎸
Nice, thanks for the lesson and you have to love the Rock Vibe!
You Rules Eric !! greetings from Guadalajara México
This is just awesome! I hope I had this video like 20 years ago. I never get to learn how to play this goddamn song. But it's never to late, right?
Right ON!!!
Nice!
This is awesome! I really wish more guitarists would do this to help us noobs.
You have no idea how good you have it. There are visual tutorials for almost every song.
I started at age 12 in 1974, learning by EAR off vinyl. If we'd had internet then I would've increased my playing ability & song repertoire exponentially.
Great player and songwriter. They don’t make em like this anymore in popular music.
MORE OF THESE!!!!!!!
Great solo!
One of the best guitar players
Wow I always loved the guitar in this song and the solo is honestly one of my favourites of all time .I don't know if you are underrated but you shouldn't be 😊 you got awesome chops mate👍
Saw them live in London support by the Gin Blossoms. Great concert and very tight, amazing musicians
Yep, that would have been a great concert, no question.
Numero uno assoluto!
yeh.! Go Baby!
Stud!
man thats the funky shit i like
Yeah, one, two, princes kneel before you
That′s what I said, now
Princes, princes who adore you
Just go ahead, now
One has diamonds in his pockets
And that's some bread, now
This one, he wants to buy you rockets
Ain′t in his head, now
This one got a princely racket
That's what I said, now
Got some big seal upon his jacket
Ain't in his head, now
You marry him, your father will condone you
How ′bout that, now
You marry me, your father will disown you
He′ll eat his hat, now
Marry him or marry me
I'm the one that loves you baby, can′t you see?
I ain't got no future or family tree
But I know what a prince and lover ought to be
I know what a prince and lover ought to be
Said, if you want to call me baby
Just go ahead, now
And if you′d like to tell me maybe
Just go ahead, now
And if you want to buy me flowers
Just go ahead, now
And if you'd like to talk for hours
Just go ahead, now
Well, one, two, princes kneel before you
That′s what I said, now
Princes, princes who adore you
Just go ahead, now
One has diamonds in his pockets
And that's some bread, now
This one, he wants to buy you rockets
Ain't in his head, now
Marry him or marry me
I′m the one that loves you baby, can′t you see?
I ain't got no future or family tree
But I know what a prince and lover ought to be
I know what a prince and lover ought to be
Said, if you want to call me baby (Voz)
(Just go ahead, now)
And if you′d like to tell me maybe
(Just go ahead, now)
And if you were born to buy me flowers
(Just go ahead, now)
And if you'd like to talk for hours
Yes folks you don't have to be perfect. Just play guitar!
Can anyone tell me what he’s playing at the end of this chorus here, right before the breakdown? None of the tabs seem right
Wow..
Keep it up and you’ll have a hit one day🤟🏻 (just kidding that was great)
Keeping those Barr chords tight is hard.
2:56 ☹️
I wish he would have ad libbed and ripped some hot licks during the outro!!
The next time I play something, and the amp is not loud enough, there’s not enough gain, there’s not enough tube compression blah blah blah… i will think about Eric playing the solo here and realise I’m just making excuses and i need to practice more!!!
Is this guy ok lmao
That tone….Sounds like 💩
This is the only correct lesson on this song …..and even he had a sour note lol
