My favorite is the 8-in-1 and is the USB-C hub I use with my M1 Macbook as I only need the one display port and prefer the higher transfer speeds. Which one works better for your setup and why?
Dear Sir, Thank you for explaining to us .But let me ask you my doubt. 1) If we use USB Hubs without which has no charger support ( Non-chargeable USB hubs ) to a tab/mobile ( not to Laptop/computer) ,will it drain the battery of the Mobile/ Tablet considerably? 2) When I connect a non-chargeable USB hub to my mobile /Tablet , can I plug in the very mobile’s/ Tablet’s charger to the USB hub which is connected to the mobile/Tablet ,to give power to the USB hub connected to the same Mobile/Tablet ? 3) If I connect a USB Hub which has no charger support to my mobile /Tablet ,will that exhaust my mobile/Tablet battery ,making it weaker ( reducing its life) .
It appears Anker has replaced this 11-1 hub with model 565 (11-1) Hub. The difference being the USB 3.2 transfer speeds are now the same as the 8-1 hub in this review. 👍
Hey, thinking about purchasing the 11 in 1. just wondering do you know if it can support 1440p at 144hz? would be great to know. cant find anything online
could i plug my MIFI into the ethernet and usb c charger in to charge both the labtop and the MIFI at the same time? While using the MIFI for internet too?
Hey Shane, Thanks for the detailed comparison between the Anker PowerExpand 8-in-1 and the PowerExpand 11-in-1 USB-C hubs. Your review was really informative and helped me understand the differences between these two options. I'm leaning towards the PowerExpand 11-in-1 because of the dual display ports, which could be useful for my setup. However, the 10 gigabits per second transfer speed on the 8-in-1 is tempting as well, especially for faster data transfers. Do you have any insights on which one would be better for video editing and heavy multitasking? I'd appreciate your input. Thanks again for the video, and I look forward to your response.
If I plug this into my phone can it maybe connect to my gaming headset? Its a hyper X bluetooth and it came with a USB chip to plug into my PS4 so I'm curious...if plug the hub to my phone and the the mic USB thing to the hub will it connect??
you can just plug it into the laptop. it just won’t charge the laptop (obviously). at least with the 8-1 on my M1 MacBook Air. i have the new 11-1 (565) coming tomorrow so we’ll see about that one.
Hey nice review. Seems 11 in 1 the one for me. Would you know however, if there are usb Hub with USB C port with Video Out support? I cannot seem to find one
Everyone making these videos needs to stop referring to HDMI ports as display ports. It's really confusing. Especially if you're trying to find out if the item HAS AN ACTUAL DISPLAY PORT. HDMI is for noobs.
Hi I have questions for you I have brought anker usb c hub 555 8 in 1 . I brought it from Canada Vancouver via Amazon . But I'm in india is it will be work in India specially its PD port type c. In mac it's showing notification on battery ( battery not charging) But charging sign is showing on battery. Can you please help me on this. Actually canada voltage is different from India

Thanks for the review. It's ended my 3 hour youtube review search. This 11-in-1 will make traveling for work less stressful. Keep up the great work
Review please 😂

Does 8in1 one support 4k 60fps with hdr?
Can you get 2k 144hz from the display port while using the HDMI with it?
Can you use a usb-c to Displayport cable on the 8 in 1? Would it work with a MacBook?
question can this HDMI port do 2k at 120hz?
Can I use a USB C extender so that my laptop can be moved further from the hub? Do I have to use a special USB C extension cable?

Which one is better? 563 or 565?
The 565 is the better choice as it includes the faster USB 3.2 transfer speeds.
Does this pass through audio?

I would be getting the 11 in one I feel better with the braided cable plus ots a way to future proof
I agree with the braided cable. I feel like it will hold up longer for sure.
Is the 3.5mm volume level enough for earphones ?
565 supports full HD at 165hz? or 2k at 120fps?
could i plug my MIFI into the ethernet and usb c charger in to charge both the labtop and the MIFI at the same time? While using the MIFI for internet too?
Can I connect it to an iPad and then a usb c to hdmi cable to connect to a tv? Or usb c port doesn't support display output?
Does this dock not support Windows 11 for running an external display? I see that it says its only supported up until Windows 10.
If I use this with the Mac mini, does the power delivery port do nothing? Or does it help power the functions of the hub to increase reliability?
does that displayport support 144Hz at 1090x1080p? is it 1.4?

Stupid question, do these work with windows laptops or only Macs?
Anker has really come a long way with these great new products. A good alternative to the higher priced Belkins.
Yes I remember when they were a new company with mostly just really good battery packs. They have indeed come a long way.
does the hub need power all the time to operate or can i just plug it in my laptop without power delivery?

Hi Shane, Good day!
Do you think this 11in1 will work with the S8 Tablet Ultra? Thank you!

With the 11-in-1 can you use the USB-C Power Delivery input port for data transfer?
Hi
I have questions for you
I have brought anker usb c hub 555 8 in 1 . I brought it from Canada Vancouver via Amazon . But I'm in india is it will be work in India specially its PD port type c. In mac it's showing notification on battery ( battery not charging)
But charging sign is showing on battery. Can you please help me on this.
Actually canada voltage is different from India
I need a hub with multiple usb C ports. I have enough usb A ports on my computer
Wow Anker makes great products. A great video brother stay safe .
Paul thanks for the kind words as always. I really appreciate your support through the years
@@DroidModderX Always shane. In my opinion you are one of the best youtubers out there.
So you prefer the 11 in 1 for its dual display options to use on your MacBook with M1 chip that doesn’t support dual monitors? 😂😂😂
DisplayLink
Good video but waisted opportunity to not run and show the actual USB speed tests.
great
👍🏾😁🙏🏾 .. Nice ..
