    I started tea therapy at the beginning of the year. I have been drinking green tea for years yet i was unaware of the benefits of others..i now have over 20 different teas i introduced to my health regimin. For 7 years i have been healthy. I frink at least 5 diifferent teas a day. Teas are just one part of my health regimen . I do different forms of Tai chi. I take no prescription meds. I am 70 and in better health than my 5 younger syblings, but they will not utilize what i have learned. I make my own salve for sore muscles. I also let organic foods and other natural products be instrumental in a healthy lifestyles. You may think this all is expensive, but i have aquired things little by little. I too am on a strict budget. I don't depend on any but myself. I eat only low lectin or lectin free foods. I try NOT eat any preservatives. I drink goat milk. You would think i would have very limited food choices, but not so. Blessings on your healing journey .

    It’s sad doctors don’t tell you to eat healthy or drink tea to save your kidneys they just monitor your kidney function decline so either dialysis or kidney transplant. And water is good for your kidneys as well.

      There’s no money in it for them. They need you to keep coming back for one more piece of medical advice. If you rely on insurance, see a D.O. Not M.D. since naturalpathic/holistic doctors don’t use insurance. They just cannot provide quality care based on what insurance allows. They run tests that most insurances don’t cover. Such a game and shame.

    I started drinking dandelion tea a few months ago. I was hoping to see some benefits, but never did. I didn't even get the "diuretic effect" that is claimed. I started drinking it because I had a couple of surgeries and relied quite a bit on diclofenac for pain control. Diclofenac is known to result in kidney failure so I figured I needed some support for soothing my kidneys. I think the biggest problem with herbal therapies is that you simply can't ingest enough of it to make a significant difference. I also saw videos regarding dandelion teas that can be toxic. So even if you're daring and decided to drink gallons of it every day, you might be asking for problems of another kind as a result. I also drank sarsaparilla tea for the same reason and got scared over the warnings regarding it. I actually loved that tea because it tastes like root beer, and actually is where the root beer flavor comes from. It used to be an extremely common drink back in the late 1800s and early 1900s, and no one back then is known to have suffered from drinking it to my knowledge. I still drink those teas, but I have no grandiose ideas about health benefits anymore. It's just tea, period. Even the green tea, which I still drink, did not improve any of my health issues. Again, probably because you just can't drink enough of it to make a difference.

      All these healing utube videos aren't crack ed up to be healing. They help but ive followed one dr sbs my blood pressure and stage 2 kidney failure has seen no improvement

    • @staylor5687
      @staylor5687 6 місяців тому +3

      I am also stage 2 kidney failure and my doctor, of his own accord, put NSAIDs down on my allergy list so that other doctors would not prescribe it for me anymore. I've watched numerous videos about various natural therapies and food benefits for a variety of health problems. I've tried several and never saw any improvement at all. In fact, I started making comments about my results. I think that's not such a good idea either because there is the "placebo effect" that if a person believes strongly enough that they will benefit, sometimes they actually do! But at the same time, I think not to be honest about our own results can lead others to disappointment. So now I try to temper my comments so that it's just about me and what I found to be true for myself. @@patriciaboatman8423

      I'm confident it was real as it came from a reputable source and it actually had an after taste of dandelion (bitter). As soon as I took the first sip, that familiar taste came back to me. I used to play with dandelions a lot as a little kid and my fingers would take on that taste. Lol I have changed my diet quite a bit too. I eliminated all table sugars, which was a big one for me. I eat mostly Mediterranean now. @@jgood4010

    You can make your own dandelion tea if they're growing in your garden. The whole plant is edible. Some stores sell the leaves. You can mix them with other lettuce...by themselves...add to soup. The flower gives a salad a nice look. BUT...if you buy store bought... check the sodium. Some of the brands are very high in sodium.
    Dandelions also attract bees. They come out in the summer and fall
    You can grow many of these teas. Google to find out.❤

    How can you boiled one cup of water for 5-10 minutes it will all gone by five minutes when you boiling too long🙄

    • @PureNutrition101
      @PureNutrition101  2 місяці тому

      Thanks for your comment! Boiling for longer can indeed reduce the water volume. We suggest using a gentle simmer and covering the pot to keep the water from evaporating too fast. Which of the teas are you thinking about trying first?

    If you are taking any prescription medication, consult your doctor first. My late husband had a "friend" who took him to buy herbs without consulting his doctor first. They spent money on herbs he couldn't take. $15 down the drain. So be very careful about using any herbs when your on prescription medication.
