I've typically been building characters ancestry -> heritage -> class -> subclass -> then domain cards -> armor/armor/inventory -> and finishing you attributes. Because there's so many new weapons that utilize flexible attributes and because the domain cards change a lot it helps inform your attribute choices.
Button the Mushroom!!! Love it! Great character building video! I ran a Druid Hafling(Elemental) in the session that I got to be a player! It's a lot of fun! The Beast shape mechanic is GREAT! And turning your creature into a FLAMING version of itself is amazing! Also I feel the Stamina potions are great, as Druids seem to use a lot of stress. :-)
I made a Fungirl Druid, I had a lot of fun doing it. I had a look at some of the magical items and they sound like a blast, like the Death Potion (iirc). Which you drop dead if you don't crit after drinking it?! Don't want to die? You have to find a fight RIGHT NOW.
I think there's a lot of confusion and interest around the new classes so some coverage on those would be great, especially Seraph and Guardian. Personally, I'd love a video highlighting the changes to Rogue which has some of the same touch points as D&D 5e, but with some really interesting new options/paths.
Just a heads up: Demiplane is the site/company. Nexus is just their name for each "game bucket", like Pathfinder, Avatar, or Daggerheart. Great to see you covering Daggerheart, subscribed to see more.
Fitz with the "hey" to Demiplane killed me.
Same.
BRING ON THE DRUIDS! And the sorcerers. And rogues. And seraphs. And guardians. And...awww, heck, I just wanna play 'em all!
TTRPG classes are like Pokemon.
Gotta Catch them all
Love for the Seraphs and the Sans Seraphs.
@@jaxindierockflutist There's the joke we've all been waiting for!
@@alisonkendrick These are the only two classes now. 🤷♀
Yay, for the Druid love. I approve this message.

Druid was the first thing I experimented with in Daggerheart I have a witch character I have been wanting to play and that was the best fit.

Good news! We're working on a Seraph video as I type this!

Thanks so much!
I just made a Firbolg Druid today. I'm digging this ruleset.
I'd be down to help playtest if a group ever is interested.
☺️☺️☺️
wtf is a druid!? 🌿 and why do I want to play one!? 🤔
