I admire your pork chops you grill quite nice catrina..i love it when you prepare from the food bank ...it passes along ideas to others..my prayers snd thought are with you hun...god bless you both! Take care of yourself. Just do what your body allows, don't push it and overdo it. Don't feel you need to do everything at once either! Even if you do one thing and then take a rest, it will all still get done. I know it's hard when you are the one that does the most but it's ok to slow down. You can also buy these long handled grabber things to pick up light stuff from the floor so you don't have to bend over. My kids got me one and it's awesome! What I do with cooking, I try to make 2-3 batches of whatever it is and then I can freeze some for another time so when I'm not doing good, I can just pull something home cooked out of the freezer and dinner is served! This would work for your patties, chili, spaghetti sauce, breakfast sandwiches etc.... I also make one pot meals with the crock pot or roaster pan.
This reminded me of salmon patties I made once. I used leftover salmon, turkey stovetop stuffing and egg. It was so good and frankly I was surprised. It's amazing the delicious things we can make when we have to!!
Just little information. If you were injured or sick from the service. You can get compensation. It’s a lot every month. The government doesn’t tell everything you have to dig and apply . If you talk to service manager in va they can help. My husband was in the service. There’s A lot more illnesses they approve for pay . Exposure to different things . Hope this helps ❤❤
I have severe spinal stenosis ,osteoarthritis, osteoporosis lupus and fibromyalgia- feeling your pain. Heating pad helps Soaking in a hot bath filled with lavender or muscle relief epsom salts. As far as caregiving- I took care of my husband for 20 months until I tried to pick him up and compression fractured T 12. Also- he was at the point in dementia that he had become incontinent, couldn’t shower himself,or dress himself. He absolutely refused to change soiled disposal underwear as well I’m in Georgia- about an hour south of the north Ga mountains- and we’ve been in upper 90’s and zero chance of rain for the upcoming week
Hi Corinna!❤ Boy, do I understand where you’re coming from! As you know, I try to take care of my husband who is disabled. It’s not that he asks for a lot, but I have a bad back and lately, it has been really bad. I also recently had an epidural, but it didn’t hardly help. But like you said, when you are a caregiver, no matter how badly you feel, things still have to get done. The other night, the only thing I could make was grilled cheese and tomato sandwiches so I didn’t have to stand very long. I love to rest more, but it’s really hard. Those chicken patties look delicious btw. I made them after your previous video snd they were very good. I just didn’t have the strawberries lol,😊
I hope your feeling better. I knew the was going to be trouble when i saw you using a hand saw.. That motion of cutting is hard on your back.....especially for a woman... men have more upper body strength then we do... They were made that way. I sure hope you feel better soon. Im praying for you ......
Hi 🎉Corrine I’m Anna I’m in Louisiana I’ve watched all your videos so far and I am watching the Hamburger one today how’s u kitty he sure talks in the videos lol!!would love to see his colors!!have a great weekend!!yours Anna Gibson

Your macaroni salad looks great ! Every time i try to make a macaroni type salad i try not to make to much, but for some reason by the time i add all the ingredients it turns into a gigantic bowl full, lol.....
petrablum5562... How funny... as that is what I do with a lot of things. Works great! I can use up every little bit that way. But, until I saw someone else do that, I hadn't a clue. I was never frugal until the last 15 or so years... Wish I had been all my adult life. I just didn't know...
Corinna, I tried making your chicken patties your way a few weeks ago. I made a few adjustments but found them delicious.. I searched your videos forever to find your recipe.. I will definitely be making them again!
As a viewer I see her use vegetables quite often veggies went on those burgers..also I think from getting hurt she is trying to simplify the meal ...she's been in pain ...perhaps you didn't see her other video...prayer and compassion would help her...God bless

I wish I lived near you I would love to come help you. You deserve a friend to give you a break.
You can put a little self rising flour and cinnamon on those peaches and cream and pop in the oven for a delicious peach cobbler.

I always use haft and haft over my fresh fruit like peaches. That's how my mom made it and I 78 years old . lol
It’s been super hot this week in Cincinnati. 100+ every day with high humidity. I sympathize, stay cool my friend.

I’ve seen other people do the dimple and add a ice cube in the dimples? Have you ever done that and does it make a difference?
Your macaroni salad looks great !

Look so good Corinna...You may need a new bed..😮Take care.😯💙🦜🌴❤
I would have dumpted the noodle salad into the MW can and shook it to get all of it out.

So sorry to hear about your back😮
never seen chicken patties made or had mashed potatoes added.
Are you enrolled at the VA?
I am worried about you. Why don't you go to the doctor? And look into getting Glen a caregiver.
Why don’t you put the lid on to avoid some of the grease splatter.
Your meals look 👀 delicious!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤
you guys aren't much for vegetables, are you?
