Oh ,my cat also love the gravy ,then eats gravy, then the meat.😆 But he loves when I poach chicken breast, when I am making something with chicken breast, I let it cool down, chopped up with some broth.
Hi Corinna! Please be careful with the tuna! I sadly destroyed a cats kidneys & poisoned her blood in the process of giving canned tuna because it’s all I could get her to eat😢. By far, my hardest fur baby loss & it was my fault. Suggestion from my vet for picky eaters. Will need a small cheap food processor so not to use with anything else. - add chunky cat food…doesn’t matter what flavor, all will work - add pinch of cooked rice (I make packet of minute rice for myself, refrigerate & take out as needed for myself or the cats) - add a splash of low sodium chicken broth Blend to almost puréed. It’s like thick creamy chicken soup friendly for the picky fur babies. Now, the only time I give anything canned tuna related is when I’m preparing a sandwich for myself, I drain the water in a bowl & give it to them, they earned the special treat. However, this is only like once or twice a month occurrence.
Thank you Corinna for sharing your day! For me, I don’t ever think you should need to apologize for what you are able to buy or the size of what you buy. I only get upset when people waste things or buy things that aren’t going to be enjoyed. So if you want ice cream, or candy or cookies or whatever it is that makes you happy - you go for it girl! I think that part of living is the joy of living your life❤
I have never lost a parent but I did lose a spouse of 23 years. I pray for her and the family, the pain never goes away…you just learn to live with it. Sounds funny saying that but even 13 years later the pain isn’t gone, just doesn’t hurt as much of that makes any sense
the aldi bagels are very good and soooo much cheaper. also yu can use the oreos in your baking, crumble them up for a topping for ice cream or a crust for pudding pie
Aww, your kind request made her last Christmas on earth a blessed one. Danette, she is correct in that you will never stop missing her but it does get easier over time. Take all the time you need for the grieving process. I miss both my parents so much at times even after over 10 years. Rest in peach Sandy.
Very sorry to hear about Danette's mom, sending prayers for her. Loved your video Corinna, everything from the grocery stores, the drive to & from, sharing the fact that your senior furbabies are food fussy, meal prep & your sharing and including Glen and memories with your mom & dad. Can't wait for the next vid!
Sending love and prayers to Danette. It is a hard thing to lose people we love. I hope we all treasure each other and create memories that endure and bring us joy. ❤
The entry to Aldi looked the same as in Australia. All out main Supermarkets here, including Aldi, you walk into the fruit & vegetables aisle, like your Kroger, which we dont have here. Ps. Plastic shopping bags are banned where I live.
I'm so sorry for the loss of Danette's mom. I did send a Christmas card and hope it blessed her in some small way. Heaven gained another angel. RIP Sandy. 🙏
Corinna, thank you for letting us know about Sandy. Prayers for Danette and Sandy also. I know what you mean about dealing with the loss of your parents. 🙏🏻 I miss my parents and my husband every day. They all passed away within 3 years time, four years ago and it is still difficult. Thanks for sharing your day with us. Your supper of sausages and kraut sounds delicious. Take care. ❤️
I had fussy cats that just licked off the gravy. I got chicken broth and added the cat food and put it in a ninja type blender and pureed it. Problem solved. Tuna alone is not good for cats, so maybe you could sneak some chicken in it.Goats milk mixed in is good for them too, and my fussy cats didn't seem to mind it blended in.
aldi snack pac pudding is really good , avocado is good with Catalina on it when you cant find cucumbers.. tuna in oil is better for cats the oil is good to help fight hair balls. I had a gravy eater cat we bought the loaf cat foof and added little olive oil to make it watery and like gravy good for them
I'm so very sorry for your loss Danette. I lost my sweet Mama on Jan 22. She's reunited with my Daddy now and there isn't a day I don't think of them. My heart, my love and prayers are with you.
We just lost my 94 year old Dad too. It’s so hard, then we lost a 96 old friend of his. Party in heaven as they reunite with their wives. 🎉❤😊 We remember the good times.
I agree on Aldi. I will say that Walmart here in east TN has been giving Aldi a run for their money in this inflationary time period. Aldi however is consistently cheaper on produce, but like you said, you have to decide whether it’s worth an extra trip to save a few cents.
Walmart has been quietly raising their prices and sometimes decreasing the size of staples. The best example is the Great Value Creamy Peanut butter, 18 oz jar is now 16 oz and the price is up to $2.00. That is a significant increase. So you have to keep an eye on your prices and product size. I know that product "shrinkage" is nothing new, but doing this on staples like peanut butter really hurts.
@@scook5599 yes! You are correct. You can’t escape shrink-flation, but you can combat it to a degree. I’ve actually either maintained my food budget over the last couple of years or (as in 2023) decreased my spending due to smart shopping. I buy in bulk when it makes sense and stock up on shelf-stable or freezer friendly staples when they go on sale. I also substitute items when I see the prices. Grocery budgeting is a constant task that requires you to shop multiple stores and keep a pulse on what prices are in your area.
So sorry for danette loss, i am in a grief share going thru, lost my momma dec 3rd 2023, it is the hardest thing in my life, i had my momma 63 yrs, she was 97 yrs old,she was the best mom, my best friend, how do you cope without momma. If she needs a grief share let me know she can do it online, with everyone that has lost someone and is going thru grief, it is Church related which i like. This is dixie from texas. I am glad you found what you love to do.
Praying for you Danette. I lost my Mom and Stepdad four days apart from Covid in 2021. She was my very best friend. The Lord has shown me so much grace and peace. I still miss her but my grief is so much better.
May Sandy RIP🥀 I also don't like the hunts pudding anymore, there's no flavor, thank you for sharing with us and God bless you and your precious family today tomorrow and 4ever 🥀
I hope it's the only loss this year and all may be comforted by her memory. We don't have an aldi's we have a kroger/smiths and it's bread is much better than walmarts. Their sour dough bread may have small bubbles but at least it tastes like sourdough unlike walmarts sourdough
sad when we lose someone we love yes we know life ends but it doesn't make when that come easy. I miss my parents in laws and my younger brother. May God's Grace be with your friend this 1 year will be the hardest is never stop hurting we just go on because their nothings else we can do death is part of life.
I may have said this before, but I love Aldi. Not for everything, but the prices are good & most products are good quality. Not a fan of their meat prices. I get meats on sale at other stores. I do buy their sausages, though. I buy produce at a farmers market unless Aldi has a deal. Every penny counts these days. 😉
I'm personally not an Aldi's lover I shop there maybe twice a year and when I went in there two weeks ago I kept thinking I can get that somewhere cheaper so I didn't buy anything but I know a lot of people like that place. I think it's because I buy nothing but mark down meat at Kroger or Schnucks and I also buy a lot of markdown and clearance items
@@debbieframpton3857 it depends on where you're at. Get those deals wherever you can. Aldi works for me. It may not be best for you. Sounds like you shop smart. 👍
Hello Corinna. May I ask about Gypsy? I am new viewer/subscriber to your channel and don't know anything about your babies. What are FPS and does Gypsy eat those for health issues? 44:47

I agree with buying the smaller cans sometime. We really like Aldi. We shop another store as well but, mostly Aldi.
Thanks for another video where you welcome is into your heart and home. You are loved and appreciated.
So sorry to hear that. No,you never get over the loss of your parents, I miss them every day.🙏Aldi bought out Winn Dixie. In Florida & South.😊

The chocolate covered peanut butter cookies are so good
I always shop at Aldi first then go to the main grocery store for everything else.

Always kind of small in Southern California
A good price for a roast. My husband has been want a roast carrots and potatoes but they are so expensive
The Aldi chips are good too. Comparable to Lays

I like Aldi bread too!😊
Great hauls!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
Seems you have to really drive quite a ways to get to your stores, but the scenery is great.
The better then cheddar are really good.
I can't taste the difference in most of Aldi's products, and the price is really hard to beat.😊
sadly our aldi bread always molds a day or two after you get it.
What does Theodore pine trees
