I did a team of misfits and weirdos, like kids I thought would get picked last for a team in real life (except for Jorge, because I hate his swing). Gretchen was on it of course - she always ends up on my team, like a not-so-great good luck charm. The secret weapon is Lisa Crockett, who can hit line drives over a short left wall and has an absolute cannon fielding at third. We lost one regular season game and won the series; the trick is wearing down pitching so all the opposing kids are tired and can’t field, then unloading a string of power ups. I’m way too obsessed with BYBB 2003!
If anybody cares, I think the lineup was 1. Reese (LF) 2. Lisa (3B) 3. Dimitri (RF) 4. Mikey (C) 5. Annie (CF) 6. Kimmy (SS) 7. Gretchen (2B) 8. Marky (P) 9. Ricky (1B). Subject to change due to buffs; home field was Eckman Acres so Kimmy was buffed and batted third.
From my time of having Reese and Gretchen on the same team, I can confidentiality say that Gretchen was the better hire. She had a batting average of .667, higher than teammate Pablo Sanchez! Reese was mostly useful for giving the opposing team power-ups. I was calling him Reese Worthnothing all year.
@@254Gaming-wtxEhhh, when you look at the hidden stats, I'm pretty sure only 4 of the bottom 9 slowest kids would be from that team. The team would be(from slowest to 'fastest'): Fabienne Callahan(2/100), I van King(2/100), Jose Meisenheimer(2/100)(all tied for slowest in the game), Quentin Driver(4/100), Berit Greenwalt(4/100), Thor Herring(7/100), Wayne Pitman(7/100), Katelyn Cain(9/100), and Gloria Keitel(11/100). (Looking at the stats)Only 4 out of the 9 players on the "'slowest possible team" would be returning from the 'worst possible' team.
this isn’t a second appearance for gretchen, stamina team had annie frazier
BRO YOU'RE RIGHT LOL
How did you get backyard baseball 2003?

Angela Delvecchio in my opinion is the best pitcher.
My girlfriend : *thinks I’m cheating*
Me: watching a guy commentate over his BYB gameplay
can you do a powerless team next? guys with the 9 lowest power batting ratings?
Nearly all of the players who’d qualify for that team are really fast, so it’d still likely be a very easy win.
You should do boy vs girl team
Do the shortest team next!!
can you put the 9 worst backyard kids against the mighty monsters team to see how much better the backyard kids play?
I could. Which team should I play as though?
@@254Gaming-wtx the backyard kids, i feel like you've played as the mighty monsters a little too much
Thats a good matchup
Experimental season idea - your pitcher throws down the middle every pitch. Trying this on my season and it makes for some fun high-scoring battles.
The reason Jason has a 7 out of 10 batting is due to his low contact ability
Suggestion: The team with the worst contact hitting.
I was really surprised to see Amir here.
I expected him to have better throw power.
But still, great video.

Love the content! Some other ideas you could do: 1 height team, low IQ team, low aggressive team
Love the backyard baseball vids. Keep it up!
Do you do challenge requests? If so, I'd love to see a video where you play as a team with the slowest characters.
The "Worst Possible Team" series is already kinda like that. Most of those players are only 1-3 speed.
