+Shady Player One didn't necessitate the other. TT was getting paid peanuts and would have been VERY happy to back up Manning and learn at the feet of the Master. TT EARNED at least that much by taking their sadass 5-15 team to beat the Steelers in the playoffs. Think Manning was coming to Denver if they finished 4-12 two seasons in a row? highly unlikely that he could go anywhere and chooses the loser Broncos unless Tebow cleans up Orton's mess.
+R.H. Omea Negative. Tebow was getting paid 1st round quarterback money according to the CBA that existed when he was drafted in 2010. The current CBA that downgraded rookie contracts was created in 2011. Tebow wasn't really any better than Orton. The whole schedule was filled with injured and/or crappy teams that they beat. The Tebow Broncos were blown out by the three real contenders they faced. Then he was the biggest problem in a blowout loss to the not-very-good buffalo bills that season. They closed week 17 with a 7-3 loss to the Chiefs who were quarterbacked by who? Kyle Orton.
One of the greatest people of all time. I hate when people says he is a fluke. Some passes sure where not great but some he threw in like butter to his receivers. He makes plays. Almost reminds me of Favre with his crazy ways to get passes to people.
He played similar to the former BYU QB Taysom Hill who plays for the Saints as an Athlete. I think too many people dogged on him cause he was a passionate Christian. Didn't help he was a lefty.
I'm not a Denver Broncos fan. But with the pertinent and mitigating circumstances that just happened? I can't stop watching this win for the Denver Broncos. RIP Demareus Thomas. God why does this have to happen to such beautifully spirited souls? Sighhhh.😥😥😥
+Burak Alkan (AlkanVideos) There were too go routes for 40+ yards, one crossing slant for like 80 yard (after the catch) to win the game, after that it was like 10 yard chunks in play action because their running game was working well.
@@jeffreyv8306 Yes the defense that had not allowed a 30+ yard completion on 3rd down all year, had allowed one 50+ yard pass all season (Tebow had 3), not allowed a 100 yard receiver.
Ummm... no matter how many yards he threw for, you could find a scripture verse that corresponded. There's plenty of other things that confirm Jesus Christ without digging into NFL stats. Otherwise, christians look just as bad as people trying to confirm that someone is in the Illuminati because a pattern on their clothes looks like a triangle... The only thing that is confirmed is that Tebow was a great QB.
I'm guilty however I am just wanting to watch him and wonder why a person who can't pass throws for 300 yards against the Steelers in the playoffs. I noticed he never dropped the ball below his belt in his delivery. When he faked or pulled back on a throw he was lightning fast. I have always been a Tebow fan but not a fanatic. I like him.

CHAMP BAILEY did stop that pass one of best ever.; yes; another note; Tebow brought the 1st playoff win in 5 years!
Tebow was ostracized for being Christian and standing up for what he believes in. Kaepernick was ostracized for being black and standing up for what he believes in. Both were shunned and condemned for no good reason, and both should still be in the NFL to this day. It goes to show how hateful and ignorant some people can truly be.
@@christophmatthews4313 I think part of the reason that he's no longer in the NFL was him insisting on trying to play QB. If he just accepted that he was no longer a QB and committed to TE or FB he might still be in the NFL. But instead he's a subpar minor league baseball prospect.
Because he is a horrible quarterback when compared to his competition? Tebow is not cut out for the pros. His pass percentage was pitiful, he had one moment of glory, but the league wised up and dropped him. Winning a playoff game does not make you good, it's not a one man sport, he was a detriment to the team.
yea ik but him taking us to a playoffs thing was good but i feel like he deserves one more shot at NFL yea i get u of NFL not a one man sport but he can win games tho
People always overlook heart and motor when it comes to a qb. Also they overlook winning. The man is a winner which is the most important aspect of a quarter back
TEBOW's a JOHN 3:16 Christian and passes for 316 yds, averages 31.6 per completion and the rating on tv was 31.6..I kid you not. As an agnostic, this makes me pause. If it is a coincidence. Its a helluva coincidence.
Tim Tebow wins a playoff game and gets cut. Ryan Fitz Patrick doesn't even make the playoffs, Brian Hoyer throws like 4 picks in 1 playoff game and loses, Manziel is an alcholholic, Romo being hurt ruined the Cowboys becaue they couldnt find a backup, but Tebow doesn't deserve to play? :\
+Niqa Jone he threw here for over 300 yards on a great defense, his throwing has improved significantly since, and he has won more games ( with a mediocre team) than he has lost.
It's crazy that this was Tebows real game at QB and no one gave him a shot after. Come on in a PLAYOFF game against the #1 defense at the time. Someone should of gave him a real shot and built around him. What he did for Denver that season was incredible. Took over a team that was 1-4 and got them to the playoffs.
@@ryanevans8566 I’m a steeler fan, we still had Troy Polamalu, Ike Taylor, James Harrison, farrior , and Timmons. The only big impact guy we were missing was Clark.
If Tebow hadn't changed his throwing motion during the draft, he probably would have a completion percentage over 50%. Glad to hear that he's been working to get his throwing motion back to normal.
Folks never watched him play in high school. He threw like any other qb back then. Only time he did that irregular throwing motion was on deep throws. When he went to UF they didnt need him to throw first year they had a great qb name Chris Leak. So they never really worked him throwing motion. When he went to start his 2nd year he ran alot and made alot of deep throws. So coaches did him no favors by throwing alot of deep throws. So years go by with no development at qb throwing. Screwed him big time. Broncos did same thing for 2 years now hes got muscle memory of throwing ugly balls from 6 years of no development at the qb position. If you dont believe me go look up games in Nease High School and try to find the ones that shows more than a few minutes of great plays which happens to be his running and deep balls.
Troy Wullbrandt He has been working with Tom Brady's offseason QB coach for the last two years. Being on the Pats in the pre-season gave him quality contacts and resources. Now Tebow has been given a rare third chance (I don't count the trade to the Jets as a second chance.) Let us see what he does with it. I think he makes good choices with the football, but he doesn't have NFL accuracy, or at least last we saw him he doesn't. Watch this video and see how consistently off target he is. The key to what I just said is NFL accuracy. he is better than I ever will be, but in the NFL you have to be something special. Being just a little off target or a litle slow on a play is the difference between being a star and a scrub as a QB. I am rooting for the man, but I am not hanging on his nuts like some fan boys.
Troy Wullbrandt too much made about throwing motion. the result is the only important thing. not that I'm saying Tebow is an incredibly accurate thrower, but I just hate how much that single point is emphasis. If you were teaching a kid to shoot a basketball, you would burn any tape of Reggie Miller. Yet the dude was one of the best 3 pt shooters of all time. What matters is whether the ball went where it was supposed to
So somehow Tebow can't even be a BACKUP in the league, yet Johnny Manziel is getting more and more chances even though he has proven he is nothing but a detriment to the team, league and locker room.
Tim Tebow's best passes are always the deep ones. You watch his highlights of that year, most of his deep balls was dimes. That's probably my favorite non Super Bowl appearance year as a Broncos Fan. He wasn't John Elway but he definitely made you believe he was going to pull it out somehow, some way like John Elway did. Love Tebow!
True. Very athletic. Tough. Great ncaa player but just not a good nfl qb. But there's no shame in that. Personally i think he should have come up here to Canada to play. Wider field and it's not the best defensive players like the NFL. I think he might have done pretty good in the CFL.
The Tebow haters who keep sounding the refrain: "yeah, but he got soundly beaten the next week by Brady and the Patriots" are completely missing the point. Tebow and the Broncos SHOULD have gotten soundly beaten by Roethlisberger and the defending AFC champion Steelers -- but they didn't. Heck, Tebow should have probably lost half the games he started as a rookie with an undeveloped team. The fact that he took a 2-5 team all the way to the second round of the playoffs in his rookie season is absolutely stunning. Now, that said, no one is saying this made Tebow an elite NFL quarterback, or that he now deserved to be mentioned in the same breath with Brady & Manning - of course not. He still had a long way to go in his development, but he sure was off to a great start. If the Broncos would have just let him be Manning's backup the following seasons and let him learn and develop under Manning, Tebow might have blossomed into a complete quarterback -- and Denver might not be the one-and-done, champs-to-chumps team they are now. But Tebow was a victim -- both of Manning, Fox and Elway's egos, and his own success and popularity. No NFL starting quarterback wanted Tim as his backup, knowing that the moment he had a bad game or two, the fans would start chanting "Tebow. Tebow". He never got a chance to show what he really could have done in the NFL. And that's just really sad.
Come on the guy just can't throw, during training camp he missed 13 throws without a defense facing him, 13 goddamn throws what would be the point of cutting him if he seems to have potential anyway He was just plain bad, bad enough to keep Mark Sanchez as a starter and release him
Tebow my favorite player in recent memory, but they were only a 7 point underdog in that game, so it wasn't suppose to be a blowout or anything. And Peyton Manning took the same team to the super bowl twice in the next 4 years, and won. Tebow barely made it out of the first round.
As much as I loved Tebow as our QB, it would have been horrible to have Tim work behind Manning and it would have damaged the Broncos. TT did not do this in his rookie season but without proper training due to the shutdown. The fact is that Tebow achieved stellar results in very few games and we cannot know if he would have succeded if he had been given the chance and hadn't blown it by chooseing the Jets over Jacksonville. It has nothing to do with "egos" as many Tebow fans claim, but almost everything around Tebow except the winning indicated that it was unsustainable. Tebow unfortunately (like Colin Kaepernick) is such a divisive figure that it makes it hard to give him a chance. It is extreme that many now call Tebow a bust, while he is the only Broncos drafted QB to win a plauoff game, took the worst Denver defense that has ever made the playoffs with him, and he has set the highest QBR of any Broncos QB ever in the playoffs. I agree it is sad that we did not see more of Tebow - I think he was a special player, that had huge flaws that could be fixed to make him much better.
@Blank Blank I wouldn't! Colin Kaepernick lost his job in the NFL after a 2-6 and 1-10 record the last two years, and not posting two wins in a row in the 2nd half of the prior season. On the back of playing like sh... and doing what he could to undermine his team and his country. Tebow did not bring death and destruction, so surely they do not compare. As comical as the Jesus freaks are there is a huge difference between preaching love and preaching hate!
How can anyone watch this highlights and not believe Tim Tebow was black balled in the NFL? Miss a couple throws? Yes. But the first one was him clearly not making a mistake for a pick six. The best coaches in the world could not coach him up? Come on man! One season as a starter. One play off win twice as many TD to interceptions. Nearly 1000 yards rushing. Great leadership. Desire to win second to no one! Great team mate. Unbelievable he was out of football the next year.
He brought consciousness to the field/NFL... Nfl is an entertainment industry in satans false prophet America. Look at how hurt ppl were getting when he played... these dudes need hard heads and fly around on demon time. But in moments of truth... they all faltered like fairy demons vs Faith. HE'S HORRIBLE FOR THEIR AGENDA. BUT ABSOLUTELY SENSATIONAL FOR FOOTBALL FANS
Tim Tebow - 10 Completions for 316 yards. That's 31.6 yards average per catch. Tebow wore John 3:16 on his eye black during college championship game 3 years earlier. THERE IS A GOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get ready to meet Him folks !!!!!!!!!!!!
He would be a solid backup on any NFL team. It's insidious what the media did to him. Look at some of the backups on other NFL teams and tell me that Tebow is not just as good or better..yet he wasn't on a team for 2 years.
BLUE3Y3TRAGIC here's the way I look at it. Elway, Montana, The Manning bros, Rodgers, Bradshaw, Aikman, Favre, none of them won a playoff game as a rookie. Tebow did. So obviously he was way ahead of the curb. And to be honest, Peyton Manning has not done much for the Broncos, so you could consider him a bust for all the $ they have given him. It's just like I predicted. They should have kept Tebow.
Chris Nata Tebow was a bad quarterback carried by a great team and he was clutch from time to time (while playing bad al game) he was a poor man's mark sanchez which is nothing to be proud of since sanchez sucked.
I remember watching this game when I was younger, I was bawling my eyes out. Then that first play happened of overtime..all I remember was jumping up and down. GO BRONCOS!
@@raymorris8447 The Jets signing always baffled me. Signed him to ride the bench then waste the next few years with Geno Smith. I guarantee Tebow would have been better than him and a better leader.
i can not believe no one gave this man a chance in the nfl so what in practice he did not have the best throwingt mechanics the truth is ther guy is a proven winner and know hows to ghet a first down
btw if tebow can not throw explain to me why he had perfect long throws,, the problem was nobody gave this guy a chance, because he wasn t a practice player and did not have the best arm motion
Grym Thor it was sad to watch how do yyou go from a winning qb that won a playoff game,, to the point where no one where give you a shot and they're putting you at tightend,, especially compared to some of the talent the nfl has today
Jim Johnson nah he was too arrogant. Look at the thumbnail for this video his stance is just awful. He should have converted to TE. He would have thrived there eventually had he sat and learned the position behind a good TE. I’m thinking Gronk/Kittle level.

Even in a win, Tebow gets no respect. The Broncos thanked him for turning around their season and winning a playoff game by releasing him.

Kyle Orton.
I remember being so hype watching this game. The ending was phenomenal. Thank you for the memories DT R.I.P
One of the greatest people of all time. I hate when people says he is a fluke. Some passes sure where not great but some he threw in like butter to his receivers. He makes plays. Almost reminds me of Favre with his crazy ways to get passes to people.
I'd take Tim Tebow over half the Quarterbacks in the NFL... His intensity and leadership skills are rare...
He played similar to the former BYU QB Taysom Hill who plays for the Saints as an Athlete. I think too many people dogged on him cause he was a passionate Christian. Didn't help he was a lefty.

Because tebow sucks. He can't throw for anything

+R Conrad the fact that Mark Sanchez is still in the NFL and Tim Tebow is not is proof that the world can be senseless and cruel.
It was because he was Christian they hated on him
This wasn’t just the number 1 defense, this is statistically a top 20 defense of ALL TIME.

HarryRacer18 Tebow's passing and rushing career number at Florida are insane!!
Troy Wullbrandt as a part time starter, he was way ahead of the curve.
True. Very athletic. Tough. Great ncaa player but just not a good nfl qb. But there's no shame in that. Personally i think he should have come up here to Canada to play. Wider field and it's not the best defensive players like the NFL. I think he might have done pretty good in the CFL.
Maybe he would have been a great WR or Running Back

Come on the guy just can't throw, during training camp he missed 13 throws without a defense facing him, 13 goddamn throws
what would be the point of cutting him if he seems to have potential anyway
He was just plain bad, bad enough to keep Mark Sanchez as a starter and release him
He can't throw.
One of the must under rated qbs ever. Tim had heart and should’ve had time to develop he could have a stellar career
