Yeah it was actually quite the defensive super bowl, they were the 1st and 2nd rated defenses that year 14.5 ppg aloud for the Steelers and 15 for the Packers. Interesting how high scoring it was considering this
It was decent but GB did have to go 56 yards to get the TD after the Rashard fumble I think the Packers drops cost them another 2 TDs though. The James Jones drop looked like it could have gone for 60

Yeah it’s interesting to think about for sure. Pittsburg gave GB some short fields, but then again if Nelson makes that first opportunity, and Jones makes that one catch that was dropped, then we’re looking at about 400 yards and 5TDs minimum. It could have been the best statistical performance ever by a QB in the super bowl if the receivers did what they were capable of.

Evidenced by his 45 touchdowns to only 6 interceptions and a passer rating of 122.5, the highest by a quarterback for a season in nfl history

I’m not worried for the packers. I’m personally a Steelers fan, but Aaron Rodgers deserves more Super Bowls and I’m convinced he will get them. This year the stars aligned for Brady and the bucs.
It’s funny many thought this would be the beginning of a dynasty for the Packers, that Rodgers would win MANY more Super Bowls. 11 years later, he won 4 MVPs went to the playoffs a bunch of times, played in 4 more NFC championship games…never got back to the Super Bowl. Amazing how something that seems so sure and then it never happens.

FIINESSEKID Defensive Backs and Safety's have some of the hardest jobs in football, it ain't easy so stop acting like you could do any better against some of the fastest and athletic people
On top of that the Packers had Greg Jennings, Donald Driver, and Jordy Nelson. Maybe the best collection of wide receivers between both teams in Super Bowl history.
this game taught me what being a sports fan was going to be like. shear heartbreak. this is still the only super bowl i got to see my team in and we lost. i was 7. this is why steelers fans now are so angry. we came so close so many times after but we had two impossible mountains to climb. brady. and bad calls. and now we don’t have the players that made us great.
I became a Packer fan in 2000 and missed seeing SB 31 when they beat the Pats with Favre. But watching SB 45 made up for it and this was one of if not arguably the best SB ive ever seen! And it was on the day of my birthday, so it was even better! GO PACK! 🇺🇸🏈🧀
Steelers fan here, obviously not happy with the results. A couple plays could've changed the outcome. This SB is underrated, IMO. The Steelers made a mini-comeback in the 2nd half, and it ended up being a 1-posession game.
Watching this after Super Bowl LVI and man.. I don’t think anybody will understand the madness that went down in my grandparents house in 2011 after we won!! Best moment of my life. I truly believe Rodgers still has 2 more Super Bowls left in him. #GOPACKGO
He doesn’t care about winning. If he did, he’d have played for vet minimum so they can actually put a good team around him this year. He got his 50 million a year, that’s all he cares about
@@Ryan-zt2xw That's sad, your goal should be rings, not MVP awards and stats. The MVP award is basically a participation award anyway, doesn't factor in to the playoffs
I seen someone in the comments section call Jordy Nelson "butterfingers" shit I'd be happy to Have Jordy Nelson back this year. He may have dropped a few but he was our #1 receiver. Something we are seriously lacking this year. If we still had this team.. no question we would be going to the SB. Donald Driver, Greg Jennings and Jordy Nelson? THAT my friends was a Triple Threat. I'd be happy to even just have Jordy back this year.. goddamn Pre-season games..
+zbaker330 You're right, but we had a team of Great Receivers back then. With Donald Driver retired, and Jennings playing for the dolphins now, it came time for him to step up and he did. I'm not saying we can't win without Jordy Nelson cause we went 7-0 this year after losing him. but, he has the ability to get open and make great catches. Something that we are struggling with at the moment. I just said Id feel alot better if he wasn't out injured right now.
I honestly feel like we're still just as deep at WR, if not even more so. we have the duo of Nelson and Cobb, hopefully Jones again next season (dude's a beast), and then a whole fuckton of promising young talent. Montgomery looks great, Janis is awesome, Richard Rodgers is clutch as fuck (not a WR but he goes hard), Adams will play much better next season without all the pressure, and even Abbrederis makes plays sometimes. we have plenty of receivers, this just isn't our year. another thing to consider is how much losing Nelson lets the defense move up, focus in on the rest of our guys, blitz more, etc. I miss Nelson too, man. without him, we don't even look like the packers.
You're right. We still have great talent on the team, and I'd be out of my mind to say that having Jordy out is the main cause of our troubles.. Because it's definitely not just him being out. We lost something back in Game 8 and we've been struggling ever since. I'm not sure what it is, but whatever it is, I'm doubtful we can get it back this year. I mean, I would love to make it to the SB this year. We were 10-6 when we won it in this video, so anything is possible, I guess. But, yeah we just lost the rhythm, add onto that injuries and we aren't looking too good. Hopefully next year will be our year.
So insane that Antonio Brown was basically only a return man in this Super Bowl. What a WR roster on this Steelers team! Hines Ward, Emmanuel Sanders, Mike Wallace, Antonio Brown... go pack go
He needs to go to a team that’s in need of a QB and one that cares about getting championships GB has failed to do that for the past decade. Several division titles, MVP awards, yet only 1 ring to show for all that is the definition of underachieving

Jennings was an absolute beast in this game.
He was amazing with Rodgers I miss him a lot.
Moo WWs I wish he hadn't stabbed us in the back
Moo WWs if it were a snake would have bitten you!
Moo WWs he is retired now
Jaylen Gumbs you guys stabbed him in the back
Since everybody is making Super Bowl 50 prediction, I thought I would make mine. Broncos V Panthers. It's just a guess though.
lol
+Jimmy Hopkins I love your name
the 6ix god Thanks looks like somebody had a awesome gaming time
+Jimmy Hopkins hell yeah i did
+mikeiswhite3 WOAH
Who watching this after we just loss😔
Tough loss i watched this and the whole 1997 nfc championship game vs san fransico since they dont have a full version of the 1996 nfc title
Man it hurts but I know next year we can win it again
I’m not worried for the packers. I’m personally a Steelers fan, but Aaron Rodgers deserves more Super Bowls and I’m convinced he will get them. This year the stars aligned for Brady and the bucs.
It’s funny many thought this would be the beginning of a dynasty for the Packers, that Rodgers would win MANY more Super Bowls. 11 years later, he won 4 MVPs went to the playoffs a bunch of times, played in 4 more NFC championship games…never got back to the Super Bowl. Amazing how something that seems so sure and then it never happens.
Shows how nothing is guaranteed in the league. Things can change so fast
Better than SB 50
A Browns Titans game probably would've been better than SB 50.
+Spongebob Squarepants lol probably
+MGB Broncos' fan here.
It's not our fault that our defense dominated the Panthers and made the 50 boring..
+Stef Captain-7 How about superbowl 48 seahawks dominated the broncos the whole game
Butthurt Panthers fan
Best Superbowl of recent years
Super Bowl 49...
+ElysianDivine Super Bowl 48
XxNovusxX XxOrdoxX That wasn't even a game, not entertaining at all
ElysianDivine OK that was a good super bowl, even though I hate both of the teams in it
Yeah SB49 was like the best recent one lol.
48 was just trash 😂
First super bowl I ever watched as a football fan. Wow takes me back
That’s awesome. Mine was XLIII
The year it was released: Its not time to put it in their recommended.
2nd year: Nope
3rd year: Not yet
4th year: I think now is a good time to.
SB49 wasn't meant to be ours, but SB50 is! I can feel it!
Nah. It's Dallas's time to shine cx
Lightningplumber hahaha ah man that's a funny joke
i Have three uncles, one is a Lions fan,one is a cowboys fan, and the third
one is a Packers fan while I am a Patriots fan
i usually watch and root for the Packers when my Patriots aren't playing with my uncle who is the Packers fan as we make fun of my other two uncles for rooting
for those other two teams :P
Since this year all four of our teams were playing in the postseason it was especially
fun teasing and i got the last laugh
LatinPlayer10 Cowboys are going to F the Packers and Seahawks in the playoffs next year.
Xevious 1 Yea Sure.
I didn't know Aaron rodger is a legendary coach
Years later this was still an amazing game. ❤
Other than Super Bowl 38 between the Patriots and Panthers, I think this is the most underrated Super Bowl of all time.
I felt 31 between the Patriots and Packers was also underrated despite Favre getting his ring
i'm a die hard Steeler fan! But i got t admit.......the Packers did a good job and as much as it pains me to say this.......Congrats!.
We will win this year and what's better than to get revenge?
+That “One” Guy u for the Steelers? I'm a Packer
graysonknox88 congrats
+That “One” Guy was that sarcasm or are you congratulating my fav team on winning the Super Bowl
I'm a die hard Niners fan.. Superbowl XLVII still pains me to this day..
Gunter doesn't deserve to wear Collins' number
yeah
Infinite Ike Fr lmao he's so bad
FIINESSEKID He's an undrafted rook playing the toughest position in football, come on now.
hi well that explains a lot
FIINESSEKID Defensive Backs and Safety's have some of the hardest jobs in football, it ain't easy so stop acting like you could do any better against some of the fastest and athletic people
What a game… one of the best Super Bowls ever
Crazy to think the Steelers once had Antonio Brown, Hines Ward, Emmanuel Sanders, and Mike Wallace all at the same time.
goblue193 AND LEVEON
christian rodriguez Le’veon wasn’t on the team lol
On top of that the Packers had Greg Jennings, Donald Driver, and Jordy Nelson. Maybe the best collection of wide receivers between both teams in Super Bowl history.
😢😢😢hated to see that team go
@@drewdrewski4188that’s facts
I swear this next year HAS to be our year. Horrible lose in the NFC Championship but I have no doubt Mr. MVP will bring the Lombardi trophy home.
I swear Chris that was exactly my pick! You read my mind!
***** I wouldn't expect the 9ers to be in the playoffs
Ubaid Ali Sr. Sorry 49ers but the Packers aren't losing to you guys AGAIN in the playoffs.
Peyton Manning will return
That was bull shit how a a Ron got the mvp. JJ Watt deserved it way more that a a Ron did.
"Named after their legendary coach... AARON RODGERS" lol
they were done with that sentence and then were talking about the goat lol
jack schense TOM BRADY Didn’t play thoe
@@urielrios7484 exactly
this game taught me what being a sports fan was going to be like. shear heartbreak. this is still the only super bowl i got to see my team in and we lost. i was 7. this is why steelers fans now are so angry. we came so close so many times after but we had two impossible mountains to climb. brady. and bad calls. and now we don’t have the players that made us great.
Packers look like they could win another right now in 2019!!
YEP
Facts
They're going to win the super bowl this year!
I was looking for a comment like this. Gopackgo!
ooga booga: #GPG!!!☝🏾
I miss Donald driver :(
Some of those throws by Aaron Rodgers were so beautiful......
Jennings, Driver, Nelson, Jones and Ward,Wallace,Randle-El, Holmes. Both QBs had some talent at WR for SURE.
Still love this crew pre and post game just classic. Wish they were still around more often
Go Green Bay Packers! From Australia
oh yeahhhh
is the photo real
stupid
yahhh
Cool men
I so miss Charles Woodson
8:52 Ah yes,I love seeing Aaron Rodgers lift the Rodgers Trophy
lol ................ i'm sure rich would say that was a start of a new sentence, but yes that's sure what that sounded like!!
I'm a Jets fan.. just wanted to see what could've been
he doesn't have zip like that anymore
which might be a good thing lol
This hurts to watch being a steelers fan :(
At least you still have 6 rings to our 4
I agree
imagine going 15-1 the next season and giving up an onside kick to go the super bow 3 years later
Sam Goulette Bostick....
At least you have your six rings
it's amazing how elite the steelers receiving core is and has been for so long
commentary was so great man i need this back
2:42 for the people who came here from The Pat Mcafee Show
"Hey 2-5" *holds up fingers close together
This should've been a blowout but the WRs of GB dropped so many passes
agreed
Ubaid Ali Sr. Agreed and I'm a Steelers fan.
Once woodson went out the Steelers started scoring
Since you wanna go there. Steelers probably win if we don't turn it over three times or if Ben doesn't overthrow Wallace
Damar Ellis maybe....but the packers were forcing those turnovers....the steelers made it a game when all the packers starters went out
Ever since this game I've been saying we need to draft some fucking corners. 4 years later we're still not drafting fucking corners.
WE JUST DRAFTED HAHA CLINTON-DIX.... SHUT UP
Tommy Mara I think he is a Steelers fan.
Tommy Mara just saying clinton dix is a safety
Exactly
Mark M. Davon House, Casey Hayward, and now Damarious Randall and Rollins. What team have you been following
One of the best Super Bowls of all time. Such a fantastic game
Damn, I miss Nick Collins
HA HA is promising though
Dylan Olson too bad he is retired
@@rtnbestssj4668 yes , cause a , I think a neck injury
Was he your boyfriend or something😂
Here right after the end of the Rodgers Era, really wished we went all the way in 2020
Who’s here after packers lost to the buccaneers
I remember staying up late as hell to watch the whole game. Had to go to school this next day but that did not stop me from watching it. Good ole days
Rodgers arm was a laser ..def has lost velocity but he can still sling it
That 3rd and 10 pass to Jennings in the 4th quarter was one of the greatest passes in SB history
Jennings had great hands and speed
Watching this after Super Bowl LVI and man.. I don’t think anybody will understand the madness that went down in my grandparents house in 2011 after we won!! Best moment of my life. I truly believe Rodgers still has 2 more Super Bowls left in him. #GOPACKGO
I feel his ship has sailed in GB
For the past decade, they’ve shown that they can’t win in the playoffs when it matters
Here after the mendenhall comments
Dallas is such an underrated stadium. That place is built to host Super Bowls
I'd be happy to even just have Jordy back this year.. goddamn Pre-season games..
he was pretty far from our #1 receiver back then.
+zbaker330 he was #2 behind Jennings with Jones and Driver as our #3 and #4
So insane that Antonio Brown was basically only a return man in this Super Bowl. What a WR roster on this Steelers team! Hines Ward, Emmanuel Sanders, Mike Wallace, Antonio Brown... go pack go
Who’s here after the packers lost to San Fran in 2022 😭. Aaron Rodgers deserves better smh
He needs to go to a team that’s in need of a QB and one that cares about getting championships
GB has failed to do that for the past decade.
Several division titles, MVP awards, yet only 1 ring to show for all that is the definition of underachieving
The Packers were playing too good. They deserved to win.
Please upload the Super Bowl 43 highlights!
here in 2022 just trying to relive the moments. Sadly this wont be the case this season ..
This is probably the video I’ve watched the most on UA-cam
Man, I miss this defense. The Packers defense today is still a mess, and not much has been done to fix it
Anybody here in 2021!! BROWNS UPSET STEELERS HAHAHA “corvette corvette”
You mean the same browns that lost to the chiefs and are out of the playoffs? The browns wouldn’t even be in the playoffs in Ben was in the game that the browns won by 2 points with
Anybody here after Aron Rodgers choked again in the nfc championship
How many Superbowls Browns got 😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣 foh
I like how these highlights were done
still a tear drops when i remember this ..
I love my Steelers so bad win or lose
I feel they’re gonna be in a dark age for a while now.
With Ben now gone (he did run his course though), the future looks bleak.
Especially since they’ve had many great seasons since 2008 yet haven’t won it since
