Oh but you two are just going to adore EotD, I know it! And it even has some nods to papa Gwynne's works in the naming of some *things*, if I caught that right, so exciting. Also totally with you guys on Blood Over Bright Haven, I hope I can still get that in before the end of the year! Happy reading :))
A sorcereress comes to call by T. Kingfisher and may I recommend a personal favourite of the year. Blue Sisters by Coco Mellors. It's about the relationships between three sisters after the fourth sister passes. So good.
This was a great list of books. I've been wanting to read the new M.L. Wang, but haven't had a chance yet. I'm currently working through The Farseer Trilogy and getting ready for that Jurassic Park read along!
Blood Over Bright Haven is kind of haunting me from my shelf, I know I'm going to love it but haven't picked it up yet! The other new release I need to read is The Warm Hands of Ghosts by Katherine Arden (I'm sure it came out this year 😂)
By backlog is too big, it’s ridiculous. But this year I re-read a bunch of books though because I couldn’t help myself😅. Just finished re-read of “Fire & Blood” by George R. R. Martin and at the end, I kept thinking how he needs to make a sequel to it. Even though you could count “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” as a sequel to it, there’s still some history of the Targaryens before Robert’s Rebellion that could be explored. Anyways, off to finally start a new read!
Very excited to start on “Fury of the Gods”! BTW, are you chaps fans of the Channel “MoAn Inc” (Modern Antiques)? She has loads of videos of Classic Ancient Literature and on modern retellings of Classical Myth, and I think your channels would be perfect for a collaboration in the future! Cheers!

Couple here that are on my list as well... good luck with catching up with that never ending TBR!
I’m so behind with new releases, the backlog is real lads. I’ve only read one book released this year, you may have heard of it.
Hmmmm... I wonder what book that would be 🤔...
Will

The Tingle! It’s a very real thing. Scientifically proven! 😂
