Bob the Garbageman is the only striper master you need to watch on YT. Time, temperature, tide, moon phase, price of tea in China, none of it matters if you’re soaking a chunk for 48 hours straight like a real fisherman.
Really looking forward to these podcast type videos. I love hearing from experts on fish behavior. Please keep them coming! I would like to know what happened with the lack of fluke in Long island sound last year (2020)
I live right on the merrimack river in between Lawrence and Groveland. Lawrence is basically the last stop i believe because of the dam. Just wish i had better luck catching them. Any recommendations? (Not yet of course) but coming soon
I'm on the west coast and thought strippers were native here and was unaware you guys had em on the east coast then come to find out they're an evasive species out here originally from the east... well then
Cant wait to see what the new regulations here in MTK produce.Cant imagine throwing 8 to 16, breeding stock bass a day on a dock during charter season does on a breeding stock.
Striped bass is in danger, everyone know that,im in Brooklyn, people massacre them every year, police for fishing in this nb is not able to control 20% of stripers routes, and people taking everything, even small one,10-12inc. Im not suppressed why stripers change the migration route, they know and trying to survive, but if we give them a break 3-5 years we can expect something different and better. Like this is sad,but i know 99% of people who watch this will ignore my messages and point.
for me? you are giving a wrong message. It is not true, in Brooklyn we are in control * I'm also from Brooklyn and I fish there, for me ther is a controls. Then there is someone who does not respect the rules but most of the people put the small striper back into the sea. We have to be the ones to help the police too. If you see someone with a 20 inch striper, ask them to release it. waiting 3/5 years? it is impossible for those like us who have a passion for fishing for striped bass is impossible not to go fishing. Pace
@@mikesfishingadventures2136 I never tell to stop fishing,we need to stop keeping fish, and on so many places people keep everything, your story is maybe true in your neighborhood, but in reality that was not even close, people killing them.
I would love to see people know how to spell these days and know the contextual differences between words such as "there," "their," and "they're." Learning how to punctuate without separating everything with a bunch of dots would be nice, too.
I've been following OTW Migration Maps for a few years now , surprisingly accurate

I’m from Boston and we been hearing this also something about some guy catching a 50 pounder on a kayak yo that’s crazy 🤦🏽♂️😆
Hope you jersey guys don't slaughter them en mass again this year!
I regret ever eating one.
I would love someone to put up there theories on ct hold overs and migrations....... lots being left out
I would love to see people know how to spell these days and know the contextual differences between words such as "there," "their," and "they're." Learning how to punctuate without separating everything with a bunch of dots would be nice, too.
I read that over 90% of the Striped Bass migrating up the coast every year are female. Which explains why some of them don't spawn.
Bunker and whales in MTK 4/3/21.

Striper is becoming extinct and you don’t want to tell us because you market for fishing companies.
