I knew there were benefits to soaking the beans, now I have the proof, It was just something I saw Grandmother do and did it, I was telling a friend I do notice less gassy feeling though when I do. Bless you Ms. Ageless. You are a wealth of knowledge and an inspiration. Blessings !!🙏🏽
Yum! So often I stock my shelf w low sodium Black Beans🫘 but your video proves how easy it is to make them homemade. Now I wish I had put my dry beans in water last night. Lol! All that healthy celery too has a natural saltiness. Thanks for my HealthyIsAnAdventure inspiration(that’s my hashtag word💜🎵) Have a great day!🏃🏽♀️
SIMPLY DELICIOUS AND TASTY! ALL THOSE NATURAL INGREDIENTS gives the beans all the flavor. Lovely prepared and presented. Awesome demonstration.. Cheers ❤
Thank you for sharing this recipe. Im going to make this asap. I am just seeing your page and have subscribed!! 🙌 I appreciate the information on each ingredient you put in. And you added the gatlic as a topping which is really interesting. The smell of any type of raw garlic actually makes me nauseous but i like garlic cooked, its delicious. Quick question tho, can you use the broths instead of the bullions? Thank you.
So glad you liked it AND, YES, you absolutely can use the broth instead of the cubes. I know it’s going to be delicious. I’m coming over for dinner in spirit 😁
Thank you so very much Jean, I appreciate your comment. I know you’re going to enjoy the beans because not only are they filling but they are so healthy for you too 😊
Awesome! I just had a large bowl of black vegan black bean chili. The garlic, onions and seasonings definitely make a difference (I need to add some celery!). I also add a bag of frozen mixed vegetables for more bulk; it’s like a party in your mouth 😊 Excellent video!
Thank you so very much Sandra AND thank you for the idea about the frozen mixed vegetables. I have some cooked black beans & I’m definitely adding some veggies to it tonight, what an excellent idea! Thanks so much for sharing… I appreciate YOU❤️🙏🏾❤️
Sandra I gotta thank you! After reading your comment I marched straight to the fridge, pulled out some already chopped veggies, sautéed them in a little olive oil AND then finished it up by pouring the black beans over them. I warmed it up AND OMG it was delicious! The crunchiness of the veggies with the beans was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Once again, many thanks for that delicious tip😋 🙏🏾😋
Great! Forgot to add; once I add everything in the pot, I put a can of (organic) beans in the blender and add them to the pot to make them extra thick! Yummy 😋
Thank you for another wonderful video, that looks delicious! I am definitely going to make a black beans meal soon again after this inspiration! Do you ever use canned beans? I eat this regularly but I wonder if they have the same nutritional value.
On very rare occasions do I use canned beans and when I do they usually are chickpeas. The dry ones are so much healthier for you and plus you know exactly what you’re putting in them 😁. Awesome, beautiful, healthy day to you my Friend 🙏🏾❤️🙏🏾
Never have I tried black beans .Here in Greece they produce white beans.I will be making them your way.Your recipe my dearest Pauline is tempting and gou are a great inspiration.Love you❤❤
I love you too my darling Eva and thank you so very much. I love white beans too. I use the exact same ingredients & once they’re done I put some raw spinach in a bowl & then pour the white bean soup over it… OMG it’s sooooooo good 😋 Awesome day to you my beautiful Eva😘🙏🏾😘❤️
Thank you for this I am a recent subscriber and I will try this I am not yet ready to go full vegetarian but I am working on eating more nutritious and you are very inspiring
Many, many thanks Edita…. I drink lots and lots of water (at least a gallon a day) and moisturize morning and at night with a facial oil that a friend sells (She has her own brand, if you’re interested I’ll give you her website). Thanks again 🙏🏾❤️🙏🏾
@@agelessfitnesslifestyle1558 yes please, I’ll appreciate it very much, but how do you clean your skin I mean your face is so smooth and clear. What else do you do?
I’m totally off the subject😂 Your fern plant in the background is absolutely beautiful… Any suggestions to keeping it full and healthy? Back on subject… noted bean recipe looks delicious. Thanks much and many blessings🙏🏾❤️
Many thanks Melanie… Ms. Fern likes lots of sunlight (nothing directly, but in a bright spot) AND she likes to be watered only when dry. 😁 So happy you liked the recipe 😁❤️🙏🏾
Dear Pauline! Thank you for your wonderful receipt and your inspirational video about your life experience! It’s precious!!!❤️ Could you, please, answer a little question: if you don’t put vegetable cubes, do you add salt? Do you use any salt for your dinner receipts?
Greetings Lana, thanks so much for the question & the lovely compliment. YES, you definitely can add salt (to your liking) & if ya don’t use a vegetable cube you can definitely use some chicken bullion cubes to replace the vegetable ones. Let me know how it worked out for you & have an awesome weekend ❤️🙏🏾❤️
Hi dear auntie, I don't know if beans in France are better than in the US, because I live in south of France and most of the beans we find at the grocery store or supermarket are from canada or agentina 🙄 Much love, thanks for the recipe ❤️🖤💚
That’s interesting to hear… Maybe I was at a health store in Paris & did my shopping there. On the back of the packages it said product of France. Sending you tons of love & positive vibes across the Atlantic Ocean directly to your home in France… I love your country AND you too🙏🏾😘🙏🏾❤️😊
Hi I’m new here... I haven’t had legumes since ages. I’m high raw plant based. Just curious, do you leave the stove tops on for a day?.... that’s a long time! It uses so much electricity, maybe an instant pot will help?
Yes, I do… I’m sure a slow cooker would do the job BUT that’s the way I’ve cooked them for decades & they always taste so delicious (I have a gas range). I’m sooooooooo happy you joined us, welcome to the community, we’re shinning a whole lot brighter with your presence. Thank YOU🙏🏿❤️🙏🏿
@@agelessfitnesslifestyle1558 Thank you! definitely going to try it. Not sure if you like Indian food, but you could try this dish called Dal Makhani. Its very similar with Indian spices ua-cam.com/video/HbqbBoBZLpY/v-deo.html
I’m more concerned with the cost of gas for the 12/14 hours on the stove. Wow. I think as long as the beans are cooked and soft flavor can be enhanced later when you re-fry beans or prepare other things with the cooked beans. But You went to Paris so you probably can pay higher fuel prices. 😅
I love black beans. Your recipe sounds wonderful!! And sweet lady you are such a blessing to me…. You truly have the gift of encouragement 😊😊😊
A million, zillion thanks my beautiful friend 🙏🏾❤️😘
Yes! You said you would give us more recipes… ☺️👍🏾 thank you Im saving this to make later

God bless you Pam AND thank you so very, very much 🙏🏿❤️🙏🏿😘
I, too, always add bay leaves when I make my beans. They really add a good flavor!
Giving you a big high five my Friend 🙌🏾😁🙌🏾🙏🏾
Looks delicious. Thank you for sharing. That Canadian study revealed startling facts 😵💫

Wow love it! If I cook this for say 2-3 hours I probably wont get the same effect?
I don’t think so… I’ve found that the longer you cook them the tastier they become😋. Appreciate YOU😊🙏🏾❤️

Yes, Angel I do…. I put the exact same ingredients in all my beans, including the chickpeas😋
What about msg in the bullion or are they msg free?
MSG FREE!!!!
The sodium content must be very high even with MSG free cubes. 6 cubes???
It’s not to bad AND you know you can purchase them with low sodium.
😀😀😀👍👍👍
