This was my time and it was in the 1980s this particular song.Lou found God and that is the love he is singing about. 3/4 through every performance he has a choir come in behind him, and it becomes so powerful. I have felt the presence of the Holy Spirit.. this song was Lou’s way of getting God out to the people!! if you listen to it and watch multiple different videos, you will get what I am saying God bless🙏💋
Bet you listen to this again and again what a beautiful love ballad that's how its done perfection the harmonies his fabulous voice the choir they just lifted the song to another level I've heard this a lot over the years and I still get very emotional proof of a wonderful musical arrangement your reaction was lovely enjoyed every second
I had the pleasure to have met one of the Foreigner guitarists that recorded with them in some songs and he talked highly about Lou Gramm singing capabilities and the band was made of fantastic musicians. They changed so many times that was their only problem.
Awwh , beautiful heart felt reaction !!! indeed one of the most important questions that deeply lies in the heart and conscious of every sensible human being and animals too if i may say so :))) Thank You my dears for sharing
i love really foreigner's song, all of their songs.. please react to their beautiful song also called " I don't want to live without you" it's one of their gem
Music from the heart touches good hearts. I love the fact that you young people are experiencing music from my era. With the media focusing on violence and hate it is beautiful that we can use this platform to reach the world and come together through our love for humanity through music. That's what love is! Love it! Love you both. Remember your eyes are a window to your soul and your tears show humility, compassion, hope, and love. That too is what love is! Much love from Atlanta, GA USA. 😊💖💖
If you liked this, another soft/love ballad from their 1981 album entitled "4" is it. One song kept it off the #1 spot, stalled at #2 on the billboard charts for weeks! It's still my favorite Foreigner song (aside from URGENT, also from the 4 album). I saw them during their tour for both the album "4" on 3/8/82 again on 4/5/85 for their lp "Agent Provocateur", from which this song came. Senior in high school that year - as a drummer, what a way to graduate!
I haven't paid much attention to pop music since the early "70s. But I think it's late 70s early 80s. I love his voice and the harmonies. When I listen to this song I like to harmonize to it. 🤠
The music from the 1950’s right through to the 1980’s were the best please listen more of this eras ::: the 90’s were the beginning of the downward spiral to today’s rubbish ,
@@joepowell7025 Only if you aren't willing to dig for gold and are satisfied to let the dross of pop wash over you. I'm big on prog rock and the last 30 years has been fine for that for me.
Other than Queen, or Foreigner, if you like singers who put emotion into their songs, you'd very likely like any of the major hits (performed live) by Led Zeppelin. Robert Plant is highly evocative performer. If you want the same sort of emotion with more grit, then a live version of Bruce Springsteen doing Born in the USA or some ballad. And if you want a completely different type of emotion (happiness), try any of the live hits by The Talking Heads. Thanks for sharing your surprise and joy at hearing these songs. It brightens a person's day to see people enjoying the art of living.
Love is by far the strongest emotion one can have. I am talking true love that you can feel in your soul, not a fling or a so called love at first sight which is crazy. How can you love someone without knowing them ? Lust at first sight maybe, but not Love. If you are lucky enough to find that deep connection, please people you should appreciate it and do not take it for granted. Just some advice from an old timer.
Hi, guys..another reaction about that 80's romantics band..I love when you feel that the same..when I was 16, 17 years old .. specially ,because I did'nt know about inglish languague..well ,I can to understand the lyrics..Greetings from Chile-Southamerica..👍❤🇨🇱🎼🎶
Great Reaction! Please react to the Warning’s latest 2 new releases from their upcoming 3rd album- you’re missing out on the explosion of one of the hottest up and coming rock bands! They are opening for FooFighters on 11/10, they are sharing the stage with acts like Metallica and Leonard Skynyrd on the last day of the Rockville music festival in Daytona on 11/14 and they were invited to be one of the 53 artists covering Metallica sons from the black album on the upcoming “Blacklist” release. Thanks! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
sweetie crying, its a song that afects us all in our lives- love or lack of it!. tnk it was 80s?, l;ooks l;ike he got it at v end, im stil waiting!, cheers frm way dwn sth.
Loved your reaction. When you both closed your eyes we could say you really felt the song. I miss songs like this today. Haven't found here yet, but you should check Kiss From A Rose by Seal. There are two versions, the Batman one is shorter. My suggestion is the full official music video. Seal the real deal.
Foreigner were brilliant, I 1st heard them in 1979 I think, sitting in Macdonald’s here in Brisbane and “Cold as ice” came on the radio. Great reaction guy’s btw, I would suggest a listen to a great New Zealand band “Noiseworks” in particular their phenomenally emotional song “RIP Millie” ua-cam.com/video/hPEVsB5PPJs/v-deo.html
Foreigner is the original artist for this song. Mariah Carey covered this. Morissette Amon covered Mariah. Controversy: the credit says "written by Mick Jones", but lead singer Lou Gramm argues that he is the cowriter + demands royalties. 🇬🇧🇺🇲
Very good... react to Soda Stereo live the best rock music: Soda Stereo tour "Gira me veras volver"... songs "profugos, en la ciudad de la furia..." and much more, is amazing!
This song is from 1984😉. There's nothing like growing up in the 80's with the best music ever made!

This song hits deep in people with sensible souls. Especially if they're lonely. That's what I've heard.

I had the pleasure to have met one of the Foreigner guitarists that recorded with them in some songs and he talked highly about Lou Gramm singing capabilities and the band was made of fantastic musicians. They changed so many times that was their only problem.

You both seem like such sweet people. This was a great video
Backing vocals by the New Jersey Mass Choir. They later recorded their own version of the song and added it to their touring set list.
Not 90's. Early 80's. 70's,80's,90's were the ERA'S THAT HAD TON'S OF GREAT MUSIC. ESPECIALLY the 80's.
What is more inspiring than a collection of human voices singing in unison? Just beautiful.
Esta hermosa melodía lo cantó el año 1985 y desde ese dia lo escucho en mis momentos de descanso....saludo desde ARGENTINA

I think love is when you can't breath or want a minute of your day without them.
If this doesn't open you up and make you feel, please check your pulse.
