Do they really run the high beam as a daytime running light in the US? Or is that duty cycle very low like on the scope for daytime running lights and full noise for high bean? Solid insight as always Sadel.
@DTEAuto otherwise you'd be driving around, pissing a lot of people off. Lol. Not sure why you would even have drl's option turned on with Halogens and auto-lights. Just burning expensive bulbs.
I have replaced a second-hand e90 frm module, same case. Different vin no, I don’t use read & write mcu, just use my 908s pro to do online coding, perfect done
I have a similar issue mines are hid when i turn the lights on only the passenger turns on unless I disconnect the connect for that headlight and wait 10 second then the driver will turn on . Reconnect it and both work i could turn the car off and on about 3 time before it stops working

I didn't get a chance to check but I'd say you are correct because that would be the only way to change the intensity

this light module isn't able to be recovered that way like an frm

Flash and eeprom are two different chip !!!
Are you read and write both of them

This is MC9S12XDP512 which is an mcu that has virtual eeprom in it and has flash as well

Best thing would be is if you can get it scanned for any related trouble codes
