- The plaintiff and her husband say she’s been friends with the defendant for 15 years, and they claim the defendant has been harassing her husband relentlessly for years. They’re suing her for harassment and the value of a TV. The defendant insists the plaintiff’s husband is abusive to the plaintiff and his children. She’s countersuing for harassment.
A "woman" who chooses a "man" over her kids and puts them at risk. Trash.

By the plaintiffs body language, her friend isn’t lying. Whenever she gets the chance to speak you can tell she don’t want to lie to JM but she is afraid to go against her “man”. She also knew very well what her mother wrote, yet she still presented it. I wouldn’t be surprised if she is secretly telling her friend to not give up on her because she is stuck in her addiction to this dude. Sadly the kids have suffered because of her addiction to him. Just let the kids go to your friend and mother for a normal childhood.

right, in our apartment some "parents" were just leaving 2 yo at home or outside just unattended to the point where the poor baby was calling me and my husband mom and dad and tried following us home. One day the maintenance man found him wandering alone in a diaper and called the police. they took that baby that day and we haven't seen him since but his momma just had another baby 😕 such a blessing to have a son and that poor baby didn't stand a chance
That dude has an anger problem. It's all over his face. I believe his wife is afraid of him. Hopefully, she can leave him peacefully, but I doubt it based on his disposition.
Looked up social, saw his status is 'Divorced' and I just started fist pumping!! I was so happy. I hate for dads to not be in the home but I hate it even more for children to be in a home with an abuser😥. Praying that she got away from him and made a much better life for herself and her children, with the support of that awesome best friend! Also that her children were able to process and move forward from any trauma.

I am watching the seriousness of this case, and the audience is laughing - what is so funny? Judge Mathis has a young fan base watching "adults" laugh at alleged and founded abuse charges. And we wonder why so many of our youth become abusers. I love Judge Mathis; however, I am disappointed at the behavior in his courtroom today - did I miss something?

I had to let a friend go almost a year ago because she was in an abusive relationship and I just couldn’t deal with the mental till it took on me when she dumped all her problems on me. When I would tell her to think about her kids, she’d tell me “they know that hitting women is wrong.” Buuutt they’re SEEING it. They’re AROUND it and they aren’t out of the situation. I even told her to put him on child support and leave him. She said that going through the courts isn’t worth it. I hope she’s doing well, but I had to wash my hands. My life is way more peaceful now. I hope the wife wakes up and leaves before it’s too late!!!
Please consider calling cps on your friend too. It might force her to get counselling and help (therapy and parenting classes) and he would likely be ordered to take classes too for domestic violence and anger management.
