put at least 2 batteries per amp on those amps at .5 ohm! Those amps will blow if you dont! I repair amps every day, and 80% of the time its because the owner did not have enough juice going to them and they where deprived. A upgraded alternator and the big 3 is the most important thing but if you dont do that you definitely need the batteries. Both batteries and alternator is the way to go. I would hate to see all your hard work go up in smoke because thats a wonderful set up for someone just starting and doing it there self!
Or just strip that carpet, double / triple baffle and anything else less than 3/4 in.. I'd look for specs. to port that prefab. Is it a Q Power, Q Bomb? I'm sure it can be adjusted with a protruding oversized tube port to make up for the lack 📦 volume to regain the cubic ft. required for the subwoofer. B.T.W.. Check out my build. I started it last December a 2018 with a donated Pioneer 760 watt amp that was dead with a broken RCA input that was motorboating with a bad ground and I fixed it. I kept building haven't stopped since. LOL.
if you double that box and ported it and has it take up that whole back area, that would hit 10 times harder since it's an suv and you have more airflow to move. you will see a huge difference. those subwoofers will hit so deep and much louder.
The only issue is that Power Acoustik amps are only usually about 30% of their RMS power. BigDWiz did a video on that amp I believe where he tests the wattage.
Yea but the subs are the same way. Over rated so it should level out. He is just using a box that is ment for 2 subs and it's tuned for rock or country. He needs bigger and ported

What I saw was that the 2nd amp wasn't connected if you was aiming to strap on the amp you needed a rca to jump from the main amp to that slave and pull out more power I like what you did on a budget man the set up you have should throw some good air pressure with what you have . Um I think you should get rid of the cap and invest in to a xs power battery for your system and a new starter battery and you should be good on that part my question to you is do you have a 4 channel amp for your highs ?
Definitely need to do a ported box iv got 2 of the bamf 15s on one edge 10000d and its hitting as hard if not a little harder but you'll definitely hit lot harder with a custom box
You don't actually have 20,000 watts, not even close. Watch bigdwiz's amp dyno test on those amps. Swap them out for some CAB 1600.1D amps (he also did a review on them and so did steve meade, watch meade's .5 ohm retest video) and you'll be much happier on a budget. Your box is way too small and ideally you would have a ported box with your subs and the port facing the same way, towards the back hatch. I can almost guarantee your box isn't lined on the inside with something like a bedliner, that'll also help you gain db and watch clipping your subs, that's a killer right there. Up the gauge on your speaker wire to like 8awg too. if you upgraded your alternator already you could add a few extra batteries and a couple more runs of 0awg would help. I know its all about cashflow but another $500 in your electrical and you'd have a way more solid power platform. Remember it takes power to make power and I doubt your one alternator is gonna cut it. A 370 amp alternator is only good for 5180 watts @14.0 volts and that's if it holds a steady 14 volts. The math is Amps times volts equals watts so see what you need, and adjust accordingly, it may mean you only demo on battery power or you upgrade to additional alternators to avoid roasting the one you have. Trust me, been there done that, I was a noob once and I'll admit it. Roasted a GM 105 amp alternator in about five minutes with an audiopipe 3000.1D on 4 Rockford P3s @ 1 ohm.

3 years too late but oh well. Spl is the direct result of electrical current that is mechanically convered to linear force. So, without suppling the required current or power (volts × amps=watts) and with a single standard alternator the vehicle comes with, to properly get the end result of 20kw ( for both amps) your alternator would have to put out (14×?=20kw) which would be roughly 1,430 amps, your alternator new on a good day would be no more than 150-200 amps minus what your vehicle needs to effectively run. So probably about 20 amps usable for the amps to use. The big 3 helps, having the right tuning frequency your drivers are designed to operate at also helps however it all goes nowhere without the supply. Supply is demand, the wider the river(current) the faster the canoe moves (drivers). Just FYI if you look back at this and still intend to install.
The box is too small for that many 15's also my advice is that when firing against each other your loosing some efficiency! I would rather see a large box or perhaps a big ported box!
Your system can sound up to 35% better if you add sound deadning pads back there and sound deadning strips around. doors and windows with a cross x with bass knob added to each amp to drop your hertz for the low notes your subs should drop to 20 hertz. But i would not drop my subs between 20 to 25 hertz because of the high bass tones that plays. The bass should be deeper with less rattle of your truck because of the sound deadning material.
Comin from old basshead tho sometimes less can be more. Cut this system in half and get a battery or alt whatever it takes to feed that amp raw juice. 2 15s in a ported box and one amp. Trust me i went that route 25 yrs ago.
Two subs two capacitors have the amp connected to the power not another amp f that fuse in the middle capacitors then fuse get them bigger they store your power and after you get that second one at it on watch your system be louder
The system is great but one thing watch out for that cap it's junk almost caught my sons car on fire. I would change just that and you have the baddest system, and like I said if you don't change it just keep an eye on it.
Run some Rockville Amps and you will pay less for true RMS clean wattage. Take 2 subs away but keep in the same size box for 2 subs then tune it for extreme low domination. I guarantee that you will have everything around you flexing. I won 9 of the 12 SPL competitions I won back in the day with inexpensive audio equipment and pissed a lot of people off.
Your crippling that system with that box. Go ported! And you'll shake houses off the foundation!

Aero ported custom box would sound alot better still clean keep it up
Not bad but you need a bigger box, 350 HO alternator & a few batteries. Then separate the amps so they will stay cooler.
I love this amplifier so badass
Hunk-a....
Whats thay song
i would put them in a 12 cubic ft box porter tuned at like 34 hz i think it would produce aloye more sound
Sounds good fam
You know those amps are really a 3000.rms amp rite
I have the same amp but I’m having a heat problem with one 15 L7 and it’s I got it down to Half of ohm my amp gets hot as hell
Increase the resistance on your drivers, split the energy dissipation between the amp and subs.
The bass should be deeper with less rattle of your truck because of the sound deadning material.
everything is fine but I would leave the deck fLat Nd set thermal not to clip and I'd go with a ported box tuned around 33hz at 8 cubic foot
Stay with the 4. You need two XS Power 3000 batteries and a pro box . Flip the speakers and watch you crack the pavement
Looks good G
That birch beating
do u have the 2 on top or bottom wierd out of phase?
👻They look pretty wierd to me too 👻
Bigger ported enclosure, and batteries.
I'd change 2 things get rid of the little baby cap it's hurting not helping and have u a bigger ported box made and then u would be twice as loud.
how can you wire down to an ohm are you trying to say 0 ohm's of resistance
O ohms of resistance??? Seriously??? Thats literally a fork in the recep...there has to be resistance.
I wouldnt change a thing, it's yours rock it how you like mane!! Plus you did it by yo self ughh.. little John
You need a bigger box for them and 2 Audiopipe 3000 watt amplifiers and they will go hard
Ok the amps aren't 10000 maybe 5000 @ the most
Comin from old basshead tho sometimes less can be more.
Good setup my man but to much sir for that little box build a bigger box it will.be hella louder man
Sounds like your gains are way high.
E bec is right..just need bad ass ported box..bangin then
Yes that box is designed for only 2 and it's more for rock and country music. Get a bigger ported box. 2 ported boxes.
The system is great but one thing watch out for that cap it's junk almost caught my sons car on fire. I would change just that and you have the baddest system, and like I said if you don't change it just keep an eye on it.
Turn that up man
Run some Rockville Amps and you will pay less for true RMS clean wattage. Take 2 subs away but keep in the same size box for 2 subs then tune it for extreme low domination. I guarantee that you will have everything around you flexing. I won 9 of the 12 SPL competitions I won back in the day with inexpensive audio equipment and pissed a lot of people off.
Sounds like you need a box for them subs. Get a ported box bro.
Bro flip them subs the right way it will sound better and get a custom box build for that
Or 180 OOP adjustment on the amps..
You had 4k watts not 20k watts but sweet!
