I've uploaded this to another channel to see whether the algorithm shares it around a bit more! Thanks for being a part of it! Even if you've seen this before, please like and subscribe to help this spare channel of mine pick up traction so that more people get recommended the series 😊
I quite liked this series...good shout on bumping it back Sam, big up big D for frequently deferring to your knowledge and hopefully giving you more exposure.
Get a microphone at different points in that enclosure especially the triangular chamber and the transition between the chamber behind the driver and the slot exit to the line. Then sweep it or just use white noise with a tiny amount of power and see what comes up on the spectrum analyser plot.
Its interesting that this is the only channel of yours that I have ever been recommended. Also, the first thing I thought of when I saw that port was a 2-stroke exhaust.
its a Fostex design. 2 chambers. speaker chamber ports into second chamber and second chamber is ported out. should have 2 resonance freq about an octave apart. effect of a 6th order bandpass, with speaker facing out of the box so no upper cutoff like a 6th order bandpass
Welp. I'm a subscriber and i came from the subscriptions page, i rarely go to the home page. I was confused when i saw the thumbnail, as i've already seen the whole series.
Dude! This is sweet, subscribed. Do you think you could test a shallow sealed box with this driver? I'd be very curious to see how it compares to the episode 1 and 2 tests.
if i just let this whole thing run in the background and write a meaningless comment, it will probably get more exposure because the algorithm thinks its an amazing video, right?.. 😂

That thing moves some air. It would be interesting to build a 18"sub in that box type

Thanks bud! you can watch the whole rest of the series on my @barevids channel, im just re-uploading it here to increase reach haha
May be a silly question. I just found this channel too. But what ohm load is the little driver you're using? Brand also?
7:02 What song ?
