Been waiting on this time period as this is when I remember you playing a tune at the store and my 7 year old watching you play in amazement! I’ve watched every one of these and can’t wait for the rest! Thank you for ending this with the song you played at grandmother’s funeral!

I am 68 JP. The Beatles on Ed Sullivan made me want a guitar really bad. First guitar? A real Danelectro! I love your stories! Thanks JP!

Those who have fought the battle of struggle have actually been gifted with the true value of appreciation.

Dear JP. It occurs to me, the world seems full of talented musicians. You are one. However your ability to engage and hold the attention of your audience through story is truly unique. Perhaps this is where you should set your stall. It is a very very special gift you have. Sending love. P

The day your mom called you (April 24 / 1992) was the day Catherine was born. I think I was actually in the hospital when I heard she passed away. I can relate a LOT to your dynamics with her. There's so many things my mother deserved a WTF for during my life, but there was also the OTHER mom that I loved beyond description. And even at 60 I can still relate to feeling orphaned. Your mom used to call me often at Ross Music looking for you. :) Glad I got to meet her.

Always enjoy your stories. I'm was born and raised in Alabama. We used to rabbit hunt growing up. Do you have a gospel album? I really enjoyed the song at the end of this video.

Just wondering if you ever met Burl Ives, you remind me of him JP never met him myself but grew up listening to those tunes, dad was from west Virginia and played harmonica,so I kinda grew up on country music, wreck of the old 97, orange blossom special ect. Play guitar myself, too old to do the cover band thing, and during this time it don't matter anyway, but Thank you so much for your stories, helping me to try and get mine out.
