I've been waiting for someone to connect the dots with Infinity Energy! I'm looking forward to this. Edit post-watch: Dang, those were some good threads to pull together! The relation between dynamax and Pokéballs in particular blew my mind. The red light that can make Pokémon huge, but also tiny. It's brilliant! I also never knew about how Cyrus said Pokéballs diminish a Pokémon's power. That makes so much sense of why we're never able to terraform the land and sea, or rewrite time and space after capturing a legendary Pokémon. It's why Victini doesnt actually grant guaranteed victory after you capture it. And most importantly, it's why villain teams never use Pokéballs/Master Balls to capture the Pokémon you need to save the world from.
I also think rather than taking the Infinity energy from them & shortening the life span like he theorized, I think it's more of a dispersing of it which allows them to shrink, if to much energy makes them big then less will make them smaller. But the Infinity energy being tied to the life force makes sense, which is why you need to weaken them 1st to capture them, after the capture though I think the Infinity energy goes threw a metamorphosis of its own & that's what a Pokémon finds comfortable about being in the pokeball... except Pikachu, & I think this ties into why captured Mons are weaker in general but more predisposed to evolution.
You know this does remind me of an interesting thing I realized a recently. The names "regional" and "national" pokedex imply that all the games are in regions of a single nation. To this day I still tell all my friends about Infinity Energy, and all the ways you've connected things. Good to see it all compiled into one. Also, finally decided to buy a tree of evolution poster. Excited to get it, sad that it's the last chance.

The Pokémon theory it's one of my favorite things about the whole franchise. The way it intertwines almos every game (even the most recent ones where they seem to avoid making that many direct connections to past games lorewise) really makes me feel like it is still the same world. Another note about the title "Fairy king" I think it could be a reference to Oberon the King of the fairies from A Midsummer Night's Dream. I also figured Floette is a reference to the story where a flower is struck by cupid's arrow by accident and Oberon tries to use it to convince his Wife Titania to give him the child they found so he can raise the child as a henchman(kind of like how Ghetsis tries to raise N as his henchman after finding him). Not even 10 minutes in and i so far love how this is going? Az is one of those characters I wish we’d gotten to see in the Anime to learn more about, but is instead a Game Exclusive character (and, no, I don’t want what BW anime did with N and Ghetsis, limited to a single arc of the season they were in). So to see Az being a youth with a brother who helped fend off thr Darkest Day in Galar, and then make a kingdom in Unova, split East and West, before he ended up in Kalos (almost always with a fairy type at his side, save for the Black or White Dragon) is a great theory that helps weave the world together more. Time to continue watching a see what else there is to this tale!
Blind man here. I laughed very loudly when it was suggested braille was made by the draconids. Despite still being called braille. I wonder if Louis was a member of this group. Well before he was alive. I don't think putting everything through the Pokémon translation machine always works.😂
this is really cool! from my perspective, it seems like galar to unova to kalos is a lot of movement in a very short time, esp considering travel was probably much slower in those days. i wonder if it's possible that one of the unovan kings could be great-grandparents of az and his brother? motifs of two running in the family...
true, it could also be that the dates are not exact, maybe there are 30-years in between those events but as with history are rounded up to around 3000
Oooo.. FASCINATING! As someone has JUST pointed out.. that The X and Y 'legendaries' are ACTUALLY missing from the actual 'pool' of The Indigo Disk! Something BIG may be coming.
Yepppp..... due to 'past' Non 'profits'... or Least profitable... We may actually be skipping gen '5' remakes and going straight to a Kalos kind! Hence, why THE INDIGO DISK was so 'extensive' upon Unova. Pokemon A/Z.. Lol
Holy shit! When that musician mentioned sorrow darkening the world, I was FLOORED! It really DOES all come together! And there are people who think GameFreak can't tell a story!
Perhaps Pokémon powers and it’s life force/infinite energy is connected Could explain why they have special powers and why Pokémon like Mewtwo, new, etc. are able to harness the power of Pokémon biology to the fullest
I think N needs to make a comeback in a more antagonistic role. Maybe as the leader of team plasma again. But the whole team is actually in his control and much more serious about actually liberating Pokemon from Pokeballs. It would be even more interesting in a Pokemon Ranger game, because the player would be learning more natural ways to befriend pokemon and they might be more inclined to agree with N's beliefs.
you also mentioned the pokeballs being infinity energy. That also makes sense given that the master fall cannot fail, but then was destroyed by Terapagos who has a extreme amount of infinity energy.
Alright this is almost perfect except at the red light size part. Because we know that dynamax is actually just a projection of the pokemon through their will to be bigger and dominate. Which i theorized is linked to terpagos's power to change and switch through timelinee bringing stuff related to ppl and pokemon's wills and dreams from other dimensions that fit precisely what was being dreamt of. So how do we reconcile this with terapagos ?
Wow. So overall in this part 1 of the connected series, Jirachi is very tied to a lot of moments in history. Both the good and the bad. Makes me like her even more. But no wonder some Kirby Fans see Jirachi as a character fitting in Kirby's universe because Jirachi is a Kirby Final boss... Now I'm not sure what to feel about it. Jirachi is powerful and also humbly flawed as well. Not that immortal but almost normal in legendary standards.
Toby isn’t it crazy how we finally got meloetta back in Gen 9 with A future king Pokémon (miraidon) and a past king Pokémon (koraidon) almost telling us the twin hero story but in a Parallel way one is future and one is past similar in a reverse order but that’s how the twins were they were similar but had different truths and ideals
So… pokemon like Lucario are potentially even more powerful than anticipated I figured they were secretly overpowered because of their absolute control of aura, the thing that controls things like evolutions, mega evolutions, special moves, oh and LIFE But now with the revelation it’s basically a tool for infinite energy is just crazy
Being an anime fan what I love about Japan is that they actually have statues of anime characters while the rest of the world have statues of political leaders and mythological figures. Anime/manga characters are like modern myths and like 10 generations from now people will view them them as legit mythology similar to how we view Hercules and others.
Infinity Energy is not raw Pokemon life energy. As stated by Mr. Stone, it was invented by the previous president of Devon Corp and is made _using_ Pokemon life energy. You even put the quote explaining this into the video at 19:28. Infinity Energy is a processed form of Pokemon life energy, except that it's harvested in a more humane manner. Parfum Palace was not made by AZ. It was made only 300 years ago, after a much more recent Kalos war. The palace is in no way associated with AZ, and there's nothing to suggest the guy in the painting is him. It's likely the king of Kalos from that time (the one who made the palace). AZ and his brother were not the royalty of Unova or of Galar. They were explicitly only the royalty of Kalos. The Relic Crown and Zacian's crown being similar shapes doesn't really mean anything, it's extremely loose in my opinion. They're both generically crown-shaped with 5 points. Jirachi has no known connection to Galar, aside from a pretty standardized event distribution in Gen 8. There was no lore there. There are multiple of each Plate within the Pokemon world. For instance, in DPPt, you can actually get multiple Flame Plates without ever going into the Underground. Plus, it seems like every region has Arceus Plates just scattered around, and I doubt that Plates just randomly teleport to other regions. Considering this, I think it's highly unlikely that Abyssal Ruins' Plates have anything to do with the Galar Pixie Plate. Meloetta lost its song because of sadness, not literal darkness. A lot of the information Cynthia knows comes from visiting sites and doing archaeological research. This is emphasized more in the anime than in the games, but it's also seen during the Sinjoh Ruins side story. The Draconids have no connections to other dragon-worshiping clans. It's quite likely that they have no direct connections, considering Hoenn is an island region decently far from other places. I'd even argue that the Embedded Tower doesn't connect them to Johto's dragon clan, since it's at the opposite end of Johto and doesn't seem to have anything to do with Clair and Lance's people. The Draconids are not nomadic. Consider the manga, where they have a hidden village within a massive crater to the north of Meteor Falls. The ancient Pacifidlog people are not the Draconids. They're also not the ancient Sootopolitans. They're a third group, and they presumably were involved in the Regis' lockdown in Hoenn. The only confirmed connection between AZ and Hoenn is that he gave the Sootopolitans a tree. I doubt that tree is as old as the time Rayquaza first Mega Evolved. Everything the Draconids learned, they learned it because they were there, they've seen the Hoenn Legendaries do battle. Laventon confirms that Pokemon have the ability to shrink in size, and that his Hisui Poke Balls use this to their advantage. This is actually something we've seen in animations for over 20 years whenever you throw a Poke Ball. Only in the anime do Poke Balls have a red beam that turns the Pokemon into energy. In conclusion, you have far too much trust in your theory that these ancient peoples from all over the world were directly associated with one another. Think of it like the real world; even if two cultures had trade routes between them, they could still be extremely different and very separate. It's a very fun idea, but there are more holes than Meteor Falls has craters.
What about the sword and shield descendants? Ghetsis is a descendant of one of the kings of unova, so are those two, not to mention the current residents of the parfum palace and other claimed royalty in galos. Theres a lot of modern descendants I'm curious about how they tie in
What if the raid dens light are as you believe, the red light shot from Pokeballs. What if the raid den is actually much smaller and we shrink down into the space? Now, I know there's a cave system that the Pokémon can run off to. but perhaps that doesn't change the thought that the raid space is actually quite small. Perhaps we're allowed this encounter as phenomenon of the dense infinity energy collected here that hasn't been fine tuned like a Pokeball... This is all because of the similarity you pointed out, the effects of size changed by infinity energy both Pokémon and humans (AZ for example), and the observation that the raid den entrances are rather small themselves even though our multiple player characters go in and out with no trouble...as if we've been ported into and out of a Pokeball like space.
I’ve followed you since almost the beginning, so this theory isn’t anything new to me. I enjoyed it all the same. Even if I find the Kalos-Unova connection tenuous, I thought the Galar-Unova connection made much more sense. I just don’t think the timelines match up well for the Kalos-Unova connections even if they share some imagery and symbolism.
Infinite Energy. Power is everything, not just Energy but political that goes back generations. But just like anything, if you don’t learn from history you are doomed to repeat it. Just look at Sada and Turo.😊
So….basically what I’ve been saying for over a decade since its introduction; infinity energy or aura, is the building blocks to nearly everything to do with Pokemon lore, it’s history and explanation/evolution of it’s technology.
Infinity energy isn't magic but so close to fundamental forces which isn't magic mimic the paradox prism shatterverse versions explains how the mirror world exist like how distortion world works
I've been learning about Pokémon Life Force for a while, and no, I don't believe that Poké Balls are created ethically. The only way to get Pokémon Life Force (which as you said is the energy source of Poké Balls and of many other things) is draining it from the Pokémon. It's a very painful process that can kill the Pokémon if taken too far. We don't know if Silph and Devon take it too far but I wouldn't put it past them, and it's awful either way. And I think Poké Balls turn Pokémon docile against their will. As you said, huge amounts of Life Force make living creatures bigger and stronger, but also often uncontrollable. This is the case with Mega Evolution, Dynamax and the Noble Pokémon for example. Maybe Poké Balls reverse that process. They make Pokémon smaller and more controllable (and weaker as Cyrus said) which is why, once you catch them, they obey you, even if they tried to escape just a second ago. So no, Poké Balls aren't ethical. N is right when he says that humans and Pokémon's relationship isn't as equal and healthy as they tell the 10 years olds of this world, but his solution of separating humans and Pokémon is wrong. The solution is to get rid of Poké Balls. And I don't trust Apricorn balls either. The people of the ancient past used to live in actual harmony with Pokémon. There were no Poké Balls, and humans and Pokémon were true equals. Marriage between the two was even allowed since Pokémon are as intelligent as humans after all, and just like we're technically an animal species close to monkeys genetically, the humans of the Pokémon world are likely a Pokémon species of their own, but just like us with animals, their growing society made them consider themeselves superior to Pokémon. But sadly, as long as companies like Silph and Devon have such control over how the Pokémon society functions, this might never happen, and I don't see Game Freak letting us oppose these companies and put an end to the game's main gimmick, no matter how cruel that gimmick is. I understand that sometimes, life is unfair, and that it's realistic. The entire Pokémon society revolves around Poké Balls now, and these big companies are powerful. But this is fantasy. A ten year old can take down a criminal organisation basically by themself. Pokémon is an escape from reality for a lot of people, so you can understand that I don't like Game Freak saying "this world is just as bad if not worse as ours and there's nothing you can do about it". Let us do something.
The official guide to ultra sun/moon says that the worm holes don't always go to alternative realities and they don't even know for certain that they are actually leaving the planet in all cases. Basically what happens is the cases where the player encounters any Pokemon native to the region in ultra space they are probably going to a different place in the same region could also be a different time and nothing more. The cases were any known Pokemon from other regions are encountered by the player they could be different regions of the same planet or the same region in a vastly different time or a sufficiently similar planet that a nearly identical Pokemon evolved. The next thing is the clearly alien Pokemon are the key here which basically says that in those cases you are absolutely not going to the same planet but either an alternative planet or an alternative reality. I'm using the term reality for an important reason and that is because dimension is the worst way to describe what is happening. You might be thinking how could it be the worst way to describe it and I'll explain. If you are in a one dimension world and there was a creature living there the moment that you removed them from their world they would form a Singularity. This Singularity might only last a few milliseconds but it would still result in their deaths and possibly even damage to all higher dimensions resulting in something like a planet getting destroyed. The reason for this is because you would have taken a one dimensional object that has mass and given it zero radius. Thus you create a black hole. Taking a two dimensional object into a three dimensional world would probably result in similar situations but you would be producing a cosmic string potentially which might result in the exact type of situation as before but more damaging.

Well that's true thank you I guess I didnt put an awful lot of thought into that statment
To be fair, i don't think it's ever called braille in the games. It is obviously braille - but it might have a different name in universe.
@@jaernihiltheus7817 seems like an excellent excuse for appropriation.
this is really cool! from my perspective, it seems like galar to unova to kalos is a lot of movement in a very short time, esp considering travel was probably much slower in those days. i wonder if it's possible that one of the unovan kings could be great-grandparents of az and his brother? motifs of two running in the family...
true, it could also be that the dates are not exact, maybe there are 30-years in between those events but as with history are rounded up to around 3000
This is such an amazing video. I’m absolutely going to be using these ideas
Oooo.. FASCINATING! As someone has JUST pointed out.. that The X and Y 'legendaries' are ACTUALLY missing from the actual 'pool' of The Indigo Disk!
Something BIG may be coming.
Where did you hear this and what do you mean? It doesn’t make sense the way you worded it
Nevermind I figured out what you meant. I thought you were referring to the crystal pool for some reason
Yepppp..... due to 'past' Non 'profits'... or Least profitable...
3:30 holy heck how did i not realise this
Toby, good luck in your new journey! You are some of the influences that got me into pokémon again. And it was real good to join in that!
Perhaps Pokémon powers and it’s life force/infinite energy is connected
Could explain why they have special powers and why Pokémon like Mewtwo, new, etc. are able to harness the power of Pokémon biology to the fullest
Good Arceus, I’m going to miss these - thank you for these, Toby!
The fallout new Vegas music really added some great ambiance 👌
0:58 Bro just made us break laws!
you also mentioned the pokeballs being infinity energy.
Thank you for an uplifting episode, bird keeper toby. Best of luck on your future adventures
Theory Starter: The Key around AZ's neck. The shape of it is the same shape as a particle area of the pokemon map.
You know what sucks Toby won’t be able to cover the peach montoro Pokémon because it comes out in 2024
Wow you went all out this was beautiful
Man, I loved this video so much. Keep up the fantastic content!
love the new vegas style
20:18 why does the Sea Mauville map look like some sort of deformed SpongeBob.
Like if SpongeBob got assimilated by The Thing.
That thumbnail is phenomenal
Artists is line dint he description. He is phenometnal
This is the kind of theory crafting I subscribe for
Thank you so much for this Toby. It’s wonderful
So… pokemon like Lucario are potentially even more powerful than anticipated
I figured they were secretly overpowered because of their absolute control of aura, the thing that controls things like evolutions, mega evolutions, special moves, oh and LIFE
But now with the revelation it’s basically a tool for infinite energy is just crazy
This is actually an AMAZING theory - another great vid, I am so sad you are wrapping things up soon
Happy holidays bud keep up the awesome work
I want lockstin to use this video to extend your theory
Now it makes sense why pikachu is so strong, it's power isn't restricted because he's never in a pokeball 🧐
Being an anime fan what I love about Japan is that they actually have statues of anime characters while the rest of the world have statues of political leaders and mythological figures. Anime/manga characters are like modern myths and like 10 generations from now people will view them them as legit mythology similar to how we view Hercules and others.
Holy shit FULL deep dive on inginity energy is honna be do hype, is this the BKT finale?
Toby, thank you for everything
So where's your lore video?
@@tonybrewer7536 i second this, but in a genuine way because the more lore videos the better, i believe
What about the sword and shield descendants? Ghetsis is a descendant of one of the kings of unova, so are those two, not to mention the current residents of the parfum palace and other claimed royalty in galos. Theres a lot of modern descendants I'm curious about how they tie in
Looks so good
What if the raid dens light are as you believe, the red light shot from Pokeballs.
I would recommend a video by the Brazilian "Kaka - Mestre Pokémon" that he did a while ago, that trues to explain what is Infinity Energy
I really wish we learned more about the lorekeepers
Traveling the world and keeping Pokémon lore? Is Toby a Draconid?
Looks like we waiting boys
So….basically what I’ve been saying for over a decade since its introduction; infinity energy or aura, is the building blocks to nearly everything to do with Pokemon lore, it’s history and explanation/evolution of it’s technology.
18:38 you look strangely like rillaboom when dressed like that and i’m unsure why
Infinity energy isn't magic but so close to fundamental forces which isn't magic mimic the paradox prism shatterverse versions explains how the mirror world exist like how distortion world works
this is so fucked up i love it
Amazing
Finally someone else who thinks the Draconids and Celestica people are related 😁
So if using pokeballs weaken the pokemons power, does that somewhat explain why ash's pikachu is stronger than most?
Wait what's the deal with spiritimb there? I don't know what thats referencing
No shipping options for Canada? 😭

Early squad, where ya at?
And exist the relics of ruins
neat
What if zinnia was AZs wife and stays the same until she meets her love again
ogrepon is the key
