I understand what she was going through because I'm going through my own Depression and I've heard people say ' Oh come on get over it '. If u never went through it then u dont really understand it. Even Myself when my Depression is really bad at times I just want 2 give up on Life, and Myself. I do have a Family but no Emotional Support. Sometimes when I have Depression bad I also have Anxiety and Panic Attacks 2. I grew up with Verbal Abuse from that I married a man who Physical Abuse me and yrs later I got divorce and remarried and once again back 2 Verbal Abuse. And 2 day I was on the internet and I happened 2 come across Naomi being interviewed about her struggles with Severe Depression so I watch it and then I realize that I had alot of things in common with her and I'm not alone either. And also she had written a book about her Life and her long struggles with Severe Depression. Next step is 2 buy her book. God Bless Naomi and her Family they were Blessed 2 have such a amazing Mother and Wife. Amen.!!

so proud of her for talking about it. she appears to be on too high a dosage of SSRI's because she is a little bit slow in speech and has her eyes glazed over a bit but she is very brave for coming out!

And now they're trying to say it has nothing to do with neurotransmitters....i wish they'd make up their minds. I have suffered (and that's the perferct word) with depression for 27 years now and to me it certainly feels physical....crippling anxiety to the point that you are afraid to exhale. I look forward to sleep..because it's a temporary escape...but absolutely DREAD waking up..because that's when it's worse. I wish to God this brave lady didn't have to go out the way that she did...but i'm glad her suffering is over. Hope she's floating peacefully...she deserves peace. One fiercely intelligent warror woman.

Ms Judd had the procedure called ECT or electroshock. Learn about this practice at site ectjustice and articles on site Mad in America. Lawsuits taking place in the US and England around this practice. See YT videos also under ds electroshock. Increase risk for suicide after this procedure. No FDA testing for safety or effectiveness.

Sad that she killed herself but really think sometimes God must allow us hard times. They got rich and famous then she had time think about the hard times. She was too busy trying survive to deal with her abuse. Then when she had nice wonderful life not worrying about bills she was hit with the abuse. Wasn’t her fault.

I am sorry but I wish niomi would have helped take care of Winona 's girl who is in .prison like niomi's mother took care of Ashley when niomi and Winona were on the road appearing in shows
Niomi retired many years ago because of health problems, to be sure, but still!

I think the bigger problem here is medication/abuse/addiction. She's completely looped on likely prescription drugs, but looped none the less.

With all due respect, if you are still asking that question, you haven’t gotten it (insight) yet. It's chemical imbalance, not an issue of being out of it.

@@gwenniegirl50 I honestly thought Naomi died of an physical illness or natural causes. It is disheartening to hear a woman close to 80, which is a blessing, committed suicide. I’m glad she isn’t suffering anymore. My mother fought a horrible battle with cancer and died last year in her 50. She was a paranoid schizophrenic and the cancer in her brain exacerbated her symptoms. A decade ago, everyday we would have to stop her from committing suicide. When she was diagnosed with cancer, her suicidal ideation stopped. My mother started to appreciate life until the end, even with her severe mental illness that crippled her.

Spoken like a true person completely ignorant of major depression. It's HORRENDOUS. I guarantee she was just DONE. And I understand 100%. But, like so many of the comments under this video indicate - few get it at all.

With modern technology, she could've gone virtual. Wynonna had to appear live to see her fans. Don't tell me they were thinking of their mother. Lucky Larry and the girls wanted to be rid of her.

I know, she had so much to be thankful for and instead she dwells on the negative. She didn’t have to worry about bills, or keeping a job or rude neighbors, she didn’t have to deal with cancer, which is common in women her age. She had her husband and beautiful daughters.
