I would have loved to see another series on either the fall of Piero and the exile of the Medici from Florence or later with the scheming of the exiled Medici scattered across Italy or a series with Alassandro de Medici first duke of Florence and Gulio as Pope Clement VII
I'm so glad we live in times when religion serves no political purpose just a personal one! Beauty will never die! Da vinci, Botticelli, Michaelangelo etc are all immortalized in history as great men who created the finest arts human mind can produce! Idk how similar the real medici family was to the show but as far as I've read they truly transformed Florence and art with their money.
@AG as societies develop they tend to become more accepting of other views, education is the key, teaching evolution and big bang with actual facts and evidence should be a priority. Teach children to believe in things backed by facts and evidence etc. Do that and you will have a generation which vehemently believes in separation of church and State. Religion should always be a private matter, not one which influence state policy.
Really wish they would publish this music and bring the series to dvd, it’s a masterpiece Edit- If you’re looking for music then search for Paolo Buonvino :)
Sad knowing the fate of some of the Medici after this Carlo dies a month later Piero gets the Medici exiled from Florence I’m not sure why but they never added Lorenzo’s other children and Giuliano They still where important Lucrezia’s grandson Cosimo became first Medici Grand Duke of Tuscany as for Giuliano he’d also rule Florence for a time

Historically and kinda sadly Carlo dies a month after Lorenzo really make the scene more tragic knowing what happened afterwards
