Incredible. That shot at 10:27 might just be the best shot you have ever done, it honestly could be in some Attenborough documentary. That "holy cow" was exactly what was going on in my mind. This is probably my favorite vlog video you have ever done. I can't imagine what it would actually be like in person.

It's said, less people have seen the inside of Son Doong Cave in Vietnam than have stood on the summit of Mount Everest. Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park in Quang Binh province in Vietnam, has so many butterflies and caves that people have dubbed Vietnam, the land of butterflies or the land of caves.

Awesome shot of the elephant trunks wrapping around a central uprising trunk, they died in family groups
I’ve found elephant eyes, parent with baby eye still attached eyelid to eyelid as they perished
The twisty ‘road way’ was in amongst trunks laying along the ground
Thank u for sharing, lots of great shots of mud fossils elephants

Cable car inside the cave... Ugh.I was thinking about that when you started these videos, how so far it remains "pure", but that at some point people will destroy it if things aren't done well every time. :<
We have seen it with other natural wonders around the world, how people unknowingly or even knowingly to be douchebags ruin it for everyone else. Really hope this does not happen with this cave.
Beautiful video, Matt. :) Well worth the wait!

17:36 Real or perceived, I *feel* gravity "flowing" over huge edges like this, like a waterfall would, and it turns my knees to jelly (the perfect type of knees to have near a 1000% fatal drop-off, of course).

  • @discipleinlight

So at 15 minutes is this supposed to be INSIDE the cave? Or does the cave go out into the woods and then back inside?

    • @JaYoeNation
      @JaYoeNation  5 років тому

the cave stretched over 15 km... sections like the one in the 15 minute park is simply where the cave roof collapsed many years ago. Still part of it though
