Blair, I was fortunate enough to fish the Everglades with a guide out of Islamorada and caught a few small Snook... But you two make it look easy. I envy you and your hard work to get Addictive Fishing where it is today.
Hey, do you ever eat that snook? Best tasting most versatile fish for cooking any kind of recipe and it has the texture of lobster tail aka bugs. Lived in the South Fl for many years and blew this fish off for eaten because I figured game fish, bone, lady, tarpon, etc. blech for eating. Boy was I wrong.
Addictive Fishing Nearly all my spots that reliably produced keepers for 20+ years were diminished after the hurricane. Lucky to even catch babies. I still haven’t even seen a single redfish in the couple dozen times I’ve gone since the hurricane too. There’s plenty of smaller snook and snappers, which I guess is a good sign.
Eating fried fresh-caught fish and watching a new episode of Addictive Fishing-nothing better!
Yes!! Capt Mahailof is a Character, glad to see him back

Haven't eaten one in many years since the 2010 freeze.
How do you like the grey silver mirror lenses on your costas I have been thinking about getting a pair with them I have the Permits with green mirror.
the dangle after that sail cat lol awesome
The snook's head in the intro from 2009 is bigger than most gator heads I've seen 😲
Why the different treatment for the sailcat? Are they more dangerous than a normal catfish?
They have some nasty spines. If you get poked by one, it's almost a guaranteed infection because they have so much bacteria on them
It’s the slime
Slimey and nasty if they spike you!
You can still grab em with your hands though if you know how to handle those slimy bastards.
First love the show
Capt. Blair, why do the new rods come WITHOUT a hook keeper?
Everywhere we tried to put it. The line would get caught on it when you cast so I use the guide stansion.
I never use mine. Always put it in the guide, never had a problem.
Im dying to see the spinning reel you have been using on your offshore rod
artansaliu You and me both.
Love me some SNOOKIN’
And the FACT that I don’t have to go to Florida to catch one(Texas)
Lone Star Linesiders coming up in 2 weeks!
Addictive Fishing
That’s great! Im not fishing in far south Texas either...🤔 Southeast Texas near Galveston... (I’ve said too much, lol)
I wouldn't keep snook to much of a pretty fish but I'll keep redfish!!(: Boat Shopping Next Month!! New Bay Boat!!!
I want to fish there someday.
The hurricane messed it up big time. It’s not the same anymore at least for fishing. Still beautiful and I value every minute I spend there.
釣りYT/Angler Katsuya. WHAT? The Everglades will continue to rebound from storms. It may not look the same but the fishing is awesome!

One of my goals is to fish the Everglades. Not to get attacked by no seeums though. 😑
MrMalicious just bc ur spots got messed up doesn’t mean fish aren’t there, they have just moved 🤦🏼♂️
