That thing was a monster. Nice fish Blair. I've always wanted to catch one. Hard to come upon in Charleston, SC. I'm just fine with slaying the reds, trout and flounder though. 👍🏻

If they're busting on schools of mullet would you have a better shot of throwing live mullet at them? Opposed to plugs ?

Yea prolly injure the mullet or cut the fins it’ll make it fall back from the pack and get eaten easier

+Armando Castellanos I like to use the Mirrolure Catch 2000. It rides just under the surface and tarpon love to crash it. These were Cape Fear rods. They don't make them anymore. Here's what I use - www.addictivefishing.com/p/store.html

+Addictive Fishing I have a cape fear advance tech rod. it's so light and that backbone will get any fish you try to pull in. not to mention I've put that rod to the test and it does not break. if you find one for cheap, I highly recommend getting it.

+Teddy Evilsiser I live a DOA Baitbuster if they are feeding on finger mullet. If they are feeding on glass minnows or smaller baits, I go with a DOA terroreyz.

Doa and mirrolure are great and I use them almost exclusively around space coast but when in everglades/chokoloskee nothing beats heddon lucky13 in red/white replace back treble with a large single hook also the golden eye maverick for snook and tarpon

+snookchaser We were using the Golden Eye Maverick on this episode.

+Addictive Fishing. Yes I saw that just putting the lures in print for any one who missed what they were the guide was also throwing a lucky 13 you get lots of blow ups on those but miss many fish replacing the back treble with a single hook seems to help great show and great episode I love it down there
