This is the extra ending of Zelda A Link to the Past after completing the Palace of Four Sword (Extra dungeon on the GBA version).
Of course, I did a mirror glitch to get into the 4 Sword Palace and completed it very early (before defeating Ganon and not requiring to do the 4 Swords Multiplayer game), this explains why the Game time (at the end of the extra credits) is a quick under 2 hours and the amount of items is low compare to average (any%) runs.
From 12th June 2007 Any negative comments will be deleted.
This... This is the best Zelda game in my opinion. Classic. It's a masterpiece!
Here take a cookie 🍪👌 same for me 👌
Oh sit down other Zelda game review type things it is my favorite I don't care if it's not as long as some of the other ones
Minus 34
...
I just want to see if negative comments are still deleted.
if this music had lyrics, it could be called the hymn of hyrule
It is possible. Right when Ganon says "En Garde!" and the torches are about to go out, just as the one on the left goes out, light it with the lamp before they can both go out. Keep that left one lit, and keep hitting Ganon with the sword. He'll die after a little while.
@superkeenenbell The most underrated are the best.
ALttP followed by MM and THEN OoT.
...Well, it's what I think at least XD
Numbers seems off how ge didnt use either or quake and used book of mudura once.
"I did a mirror glitch to get into the Palace of Four Swords and completed it very early (before defeating Ganon and not requiring to do the 4 Swords Multiplayer game), this explains why the In-Game time (at the end of the extra credits) is a quick under 2 hours *and the amount of items is low to 0* compare to average (any%) runs.
@Arsenal0304 "I have beaten the SNES version loads of times and this is not the ending."
Read the description that tells you it's the GBA version. Derp.
@JesterMereel No, when I push myself.
I beat this game a lot of times
And i never seen this before ;-;
(This part is in spanish, i can't write this in english)
Y eso que me termine el "Parallel Worlds"
Hmmm... I think I saw this in the SNES version too... it's been too long for me to be certain, though.
This is what Ganon wished for
"WHATS THE GOLDEN RULE?"
Never eat golden snow.
This ending (aka this video) did not appear in 1992... only on the GBA port in 2002/2003.
The normal ending you see on both versions shows what is happening in the Light World, it even shows that Link's uncle is still alive. Then it shows the staff credits.
This GBA exclusive ending shows all of the Dark World dungeons and bosses.
Then it shows how many times you've used X item (9999 sword slashes, etc), number of enemies killed and an in-game time right after completing the GBA exclusive dungeon: Palace of Four Sword.
I always wanted to get into the four sword palace...Now im once more motivated to do so.
The Japanese and PAL versions actually have a different credits theme on this ending.
This is THE game that even as a 40 yo man, I remember playing for countless hours on my SNES in the 90s. This game brought me so much joy as a kid and I will remember it even on my death bed. Probably sounds dumb, but it was such a happy, fun time I had.
Not dumb at all mu friend
I'm a few years older and every once in a great while I'll play through this game and Super Metroid for the same reasons. Good memories are good memories
@@louisrobertson9215 oh yeah, I still play it through at least once a year or so. I have a refurbished gameboy advance and play all the old games that were on NES and SNES. It's incredible how much I remember from being a kid, all the secrets and such. This and Mario world were my two main games back then lol.
@@ericthiel4053 ahh I have played Mario World in awhile. Great game
No reason why that would sound dumb. This is what we're here for; because it brings us joy and is cemented in our minds as one of the formative experiences of our young life.
I think Gannon should be in Smash Bros. Not GannonDORF, Gannon (his pig form) All his moves will be off Zelda 1 and 3.
(takes a deep breath, twitching)
It is his final smash
Dont forget the Oracle games.
Michael David calm down
Ssb melle Ganondorf was created using cpn falcon basicly a complete double but still much more formidable then his brawl form.Trying to make him a bit diferent by makingg him stonger but slow but without adding projectiles actuall made him worse. In the wii u version I like to customize him with speed boosts to make him better but give him his trident and the abillity to attack with energy blasts would be better.
Man, this ending was awesome. I remember how those darn thieves used to bug me.
This is my favorite Zelda game, I like it even more than Ocarina of Time!
So this is like the bad ending or something. Neat. Heh, i always loved fighting Vitreous. I would stand there and hold my sword in the pre-spin slash position, let him poke his own eye out. ^_^
very cool love the extra ending
This is what the dungeons remind me of
Light World:
Level 1: The Dungeon from Jason and The Argonauts
Level 2: The Mummy: Tomb of The Dragon Emperor
Level 3: The Skyscraper from Poltergeist III
Level 4: The Tower from Sleeping Beauty
Dark World:
Level 1: The Dungeon from Hamlet
Level 2: Waterworld
Level 3: The Lost Boys' Forest
Level 4: Aladdin's Hideout
Level 5: The Day After Tomorrow
Level 6: The Prison from Guardians of The Galaxy
Level 7: The Catacombs from As Above, So Below
Level 8: The Tower of Terror
Level 9: The Pyramid from National Treasure
Wow!
***** Yeah. You invited me to that Google+ Smash Bros group and I joined. I haven't heard anything from the group for about a month though.
***** Oh wow! That's weird. So it was some kind of Google rule not to have too many mods and then it got automatically deleted? Is that kind of like what you were saying?
***** Oh. That's too bad. Hm.
Have you checked out any of the Super Smash Bros 4 groups on Facebook at all? There seems to be always something going on there.
i just beat the four swords temple with the red armor and the yellow sword, with all heart pieces and it was tough as hell.for you to do it with the 1st green armor, the 1st weak master sword and only a few hearts you are a gaming god.
I still play this part even though I already played through 1000, it's always funny to resist playing
I LOVE ALL THE ZELDA GAMES :-)
When Vitreous was hopping aroung it looked like he was dancing to the music
This is really cool! Now we know the names of all the enemies in the Dark Land!
look through this guys channel.you can get the ending without linking up.i did it by myself.
I was 4 when this video came out. Holy crap.
But the Dark World vanished after you defeat Ganon and the Triforce grants your wish.
03bgood Coz he did this early with glitches he didn't get the triforce and so the dark world exists. But the ending still doesn't make sense.
I think the enemies are protecting the dungeons.
Capcom's SNES to GBA were always the best. Even the glitches still work.
I'm wondering how you finished the game without using required items.
I don't reveal my age online and secondly I own the Japanese V1.0 version. There's only one ending on the SNES version and this video isn't the one.
I also like how you get to keep the shovel. But I'm not a fan of the control scheme/layout & I hate how Link yells every time he uses the sword or falls into a hole.
I also noticed other changes like a 3rd lumberjack, a new shop in the Village of Outcasts (that has pots surrounded by some objects that I can't get to), changes to that shop between the Pyramid & the Village of Outcasts, Like-Likes in the game, Ice Palace changes, and various other things.
@fatwrecked14
Fact: You don't need silver arrows to kill Ganon (look up on Tompa's ALTTP TAS).
Fact: I used a glitch to get into the Palace of Four Swords that leads to the extra ending (this video) without having to deal with Ganon anyway
tl:dr : This video is real.
yeah I'm the using the exact same comment I said to ballkirby.
@batursi
No hacks whatsoever.
It's pretty easy to understand really.
The video on here only exists on the Game Boy Advance Version.
The main ending is the one where pretty much every player who has played A Link to the Past (and completes it) exists on both Super Nintendo and Gameboy Advance.
I think we all miss our childhood. I always tried to speed run it after learning all the secrets.
Heh... I remember when I completed the Four Sword temple.
The only confusing theme is the wrong credits music.
Maybe it only works if you have all the hurricane blade riddles solved as well, but when I get the alternate credits, I get a completely different theme. I'd upload it myself, but UA-cam's copyright rules are too strict for me to risk it.
TheBrainandBrawn
Nothing to do with the Hurricane Spin. The actual reason is that I used the US Version which never used the new track.
I uploaded the EU version that has been featured in 2 of my recent videos and neither of them have been flagged yet.
omg ... a link to the past is my favorite zelda game ,,, and its the 1st time i see this O_O THX A LOT :D
Yeah well before 2000 I managed to beat the game without saving and dying it took me forever but it's a lot more impressive
I challenge you to get into the Four Sword Palace without cheating on an emulator. >.>
To do so, you'd need to complete the Four Swords part of the game, which is GBA link multiplayer only. And that's really difficult to do on an emulator.
lol this is like the evil ending since u killed the 4 sword heroes ^_^
the ending is sweeter after you did it with out glitching, but i beat it because of glitching too, so even if it sweeter, who cares? its more fun to glitch... and too people who think it isnt, their noobs lol
I love this game I did a run on the snes version showing all of the boss battles I'm going to do this one next on my GBA emulator an post vids btw I still have the original cartages for the snes an gba systems.
If I understand this right you actually used the mirror in Zelda A Link To The Past to warp into a level in the Four Swords game, because they are on the same cartridge... Or is that I said now wrong???
@Greenalink FACT: Music and sounds sound better on the SNES version. You used an EMULATOR ACTION REPLAY CHEAT to get to the Palace of four swords. No GLITCH does it on the GBA alone.
Fact you can defeat Ganon without silver arrows. I am not trolling.
❤️ Epic time..... I get Zelda on Christmas and I was in love 😍😍😍 Zelda on nes doesn't catch me so but on snes it was awesome
this is the ending if Gannon won the game! XD
Thanks! :D
Okay, reading some of these comments I would assume some of you idiots would know about how this extra ending can only be seen on the GBA. It was not in the SNES version of the game. This ending is unlocked on the GBA link to the past by completing the Four Sword game that was included with it, then beating four bosses in the Four Sword dungeon. Finally you beat the four links from the Four Swords saga and assuming you were successful, you see this ending.
glitching may make the game more interesting, and they may be fun to find, but it takes away from the fun of playing who whole game. how fun is it to beat a game with not all the items, no extras, and in only a few hours if in any. when i play the game i use no glitches, get all the secrets, the only cheat i ever do is look up a walkthrough for more secrets. and then look for all the glitches i can find.
i am going to stop talking. this is getting us nowhere.
if you did this at a contest they would throw you out. and no it dosnt matter if you cheated or not. it just means nobody will trust you because they think you cheat (or sequence break) on alot of other things as well.
and yes video games have rules, thats why they made the other levels to begin with.
and yes, all the other glitches are terrible as well. play by th rules and you'll be more respected.
i do not believe for one second you did not use a cheat to beat this game. first you did not use either or quake, and they are a nesessity to get through the game. you only played it for one hour and 37 minutes. i have played this game for 15 years and even i cannot do that. and the items were only used a minmal number of times, way too little to have gotten through the whole game with.
please explain.
Oh, actually, I wasn't talking to you, I was talking to some other guy who said you cheated.
@superkeenenbell your not alone.
two reasons i liked this game better that OoT is becuse there are more dungeon and less boring managment between the action.
(OoT: sneaking into the castle to meet zelda for a map that will alow you access to goron city were you have to find the elder and play saria's song you learned by going back to kakori and the lost woods, etc...; Link to the past: beat dungeon, pick up a couple items at most, go to next dungeon.)
... on the Snes version I got into the Dark world without getting the Master Sword and I got the lvl 3 sword and it says that I got the Master Sword (which I did not... the truth is in the Lost Woods) anyways... this here is only veiwable on the GBA version... which I have beaten with ZERO deaths and only 1 save... yeah I don't really have much of a social life... and i have also glitched the game but have yet to figure out the Curse Glitch
hey! depending on what type of music you listen to, you should check out the band "Power Glove" they actually do a kick ass zelda medley in heavy metal!! the name of the song is called "power, wisdom, courage. it's awesome! but in all honesty, like you were saying, i could totally see them playing the mellow part of this song you were talking about. it would be like a hard rock ballad! awesome stuff!!
okay got a question in the ICE palace there's one room where there's a big gray block and on one side. there's brown blocls lowered (so u an walk over them and blue raised blocks and white poles surrounding the gray block how to I get the blue blocks lowered? and where do i find the key that opens the door that leads to the big boss?
@RocmanRaz Thats not a fact, but a personal opinion. Your opinion is that it 'blows'. My opinion is that it was pretty much almost the same as original. Just a few updated things and some additions but my opinion is also that by saying 'The GBA version blows' means 'The SNES version blows' as they are almost identical.
there is no way he beat this game with those status the big bomb 0 times no way the only way to kill Ganon is the silver arrows and that where you blow that spot up with the big bomb and plus the play where you use the lighting orb thing 0 times for that no way you need that to open up the turtle rock so this is messed up here there is no way you beat this with those status
@Greenalink Noticed how he DID NOT make a video proving you wrong, good for you for pwning another Hukd En Fonix non-description reading fool. Sadly, you still get people like these who call your vids fake....geez, I feel your pain. Please people...just read the DESCRIPTION and save poor Greenlink from getting another headache!!!!
Um, no, thats not what I meant. I mean, why does the dungeon appear after you beat the four swords game? Did they imput that for an extra challenge, or does it have real value, like " after the four links defeated vaati, a secret door in the past opened" or something like that?
truly, it's not his fault that he used glitches. It's the gamemaker's own fault for not taking out the mirror glitches and for being too lazy to make the dungeons in seperate areas. Instead, they connected every single room, allowing him to cheat in such a way.
When you're in the dark world go to where Link's house, the place where you start your game from. In the Darkworld Link's house is the bombshop where you get the super bomb. That's where it was in the SNES version, I don't think it's changed with the GBA version.
oh then ur a newbie to this? well we always divide zelda names into letters, like "link to the Past" converts to "LttP" or if you use the full "legend of zelda" title then it converts to "LoZ:LttP" and yea i mean four swords sorry
I got this extra ending on the GBA remake... but I got completely different music for the Quest Log part of the ending. I don't know why I got different music. Every video I have have found of this ending just has the standard music....
What is the meaning of mirror glitch. I played the game when i was young, but its still my second favourite game after HOMM3, and i am very interested about what glitch are you guys talking about.
Please explain if possilbe.
Thank you.
no they're not cause the same zoras are in the original, probably the second, phantom hour glass (they are the dudes who jump out of the water and you have to use boomerang to hit backs) and most likely many others that don't have dark world in it
I know how to use mirror glitch, but where exactly would it be easier to assess FSP?
Because Temple 4 works, but glitches badly....
And how would you get to the final battle to get this ending? Because, you're stuck in the floor...
yes, but if you use those glitches to intentionally beat the game without beating any levels or even getting any items as far as i could see. it is called cheating.
if you are not playing by the rules it is cheating. period.
@pspclansux Dark world, Level 1 Bush, Level 2 911, Level 3 Shoe bomber, Level 4 Ira, Level 5 Afghanistan, Level 6 Anthrax, Level 7 Katrina, Level 8 Raised debt ceiling, Level 8 Iraqi rejection, Level 9 Michelle Bachmann
There is a different version of this video on the original (SNES) Link to the Past, its got the bit with all of the dungeons, and i think all of the monsters, but not the item usage bit, either way, ive definetly seen it before!
Heh, little over 1.5 hours. im back on the SNES Link to the Past and it took 3 hours to go from beginning to beating thieves town/Blind. (I am going for all secrets/heart pieces, so its not really a speed run) still good time
@Greenalink Also, except for the flute, none of these items is actually required to beat the first part of the game (though you miss out a Heart Piece and several other goodies without the shovel)
@coyote7272 Nothing really happens. I already did it on the original SNES version, and all you really get is bragging rights for completing it in one straight sitting, without saving or dying once :p
Weird, if the quest log tells me what i think it does. it ses taht you did not use "Ether".
And you HAVE to sue it to enter the swamp temple (temple 6 i think) in the darkworld. How do you explain that?
jeez you used the shoes more than everything else other than the sword combined
THIS IS FAKE!!!!
it says he has ALL 4 swords! The last sword is the FAIRY SWORD! in order to get that you have to buy and USE a SUPER BOMB! and it said he didn't use any SUPER BOMBS! totally fake!
lol, so this ending only shows what happened to the dark world? or give a brief summary of the dark world since many of those bosses should be dead by then. Never knew this ending exist until today :P
Well Greenalink u mind telling me how u do the mirror glitch cause i don't no how 2 do it and i'm not gonna get 3 of my friends 2 get gba 2 gba adaptor AND copies of the game. (c'mon dude spill the beans)
Don't you need the book to get all of the ,so how is your use only 1, and you need Quake and Ether to get into temples, so how did you never use them, and you sure dashed a lot
Level 1 Obama. Level 2 BP Oil Spill .Level 3 Ice Land Volcano .Level 4 Iraq. Level 5 Global Warming. Level 6 Hurricane Katrina. Level 7 Osama's House. Level 8 US Debt Ceiling.
i beat mothula under 10 seconds when i fell in the room, i just went behind it and rapidly shot my fire rod while he was shooting to the front, i got hit once by the spike =) xD
And what if he cheated? It's not your problem! He said it, didn't he? He just wanted to post the video of this ending. Thanks! I didn't know there was a extra ending to the GBA game :D
Very interesting I like this other ending it's pretty cool but in all interest when it comes to quest history my best score was a 3 can anyone top that. I welcome your comments
I love the fact people think that there was just a new sword introduced to the game when in all actuality the 4th sword WAS in the original SNES version of this game :D
@thebutcher935 Maybe the other heads are *really* annoying and he just couldn't take it anymore? I could see them going on like the three headed guy in The Holy Grail.
@DontReplytoComment Well, they're all great, but starting with Twilight Princess isnt the greatest it just seems like a weird starting point. Play them all, thats my advice.
this is so fake it said he never used the enter madalian but u need it to enter a temple an it said he never used the flute but u need it to get to the swamp palace
I'll keep the regular one. I do like thieves robbing each other, though. I hate those bastards. Giants playing catch and pigs getting bombed was also a highlight.
ya i did it on one life not trying no faeries or potions and just bein smart in the fight of dodging if u havent seen ganon flawless u wont know this game is easy
my favourite weapon was the goldensword. i used to play this late at night cuz i never had time to play at noon or so. i beated bosses and all that stuff.
It shouldn't be possible to beat this game without using the super bomb once, because you need to do so in order to get the silver arrows and kill gannon!
anyone who thinks this is a glitch:
it's not a glitch, this is after you defeat the real final boss
(the four swords, don't ask me its a fake or not)
@stanisgodz It's the boss in the woods with all the fog and dead trees. Where the floor is constantly moving. Why do I remember this after so many years?!
how do you do the mirror glitch?
ive finished the whole game
(ive beat the four links)
but i had to do the multiplayer thing to get to the links
I always thought that too, for at least the first 6-8 notes of the main riff is sounds exactly the same with an extra note added for every 2 there are
techinally you can't do this game in order...you have to go to a later dungeon to beat an earlier one in the dark world (swamp to beat forest)
