4:37. Have to be honest. When I first fought the Helmasaur King, that scared the hell out of me as a kid. The room is dark at first. When it illuminates, and that big giant hulking monster is staring at you, holy S-H-I-T! I always did have trouble with that boss when i was younger. Now I enjoy fighting it every time. Does offer a good challenge. But not anywhere near as annoying as fighting Mothula.
I like how an NPC in Kakariko Village references Blind before you even fight the first boss (Blind is the boss of Thieves Hideout for those of you who don’t know.)
5:23 I love how the Helmasaur King in the Dark Palace sloooowly exploded after his tail quickly blew up. Like lighting a stick of dynamite. But in this case, more like a Powder Keg.
Alvaro If I were to list all the bosses that have eyes as their weak points (or all the bosses that are literally just eyes) in Nintendo games I’d be here for a good day or two
Implemented alot of bass sound when killing the bosses. Jason Newsted would have been proud. And you not only had to fight em once, but then had to destroy them again, one right after another. Badass! And the bat at the end sounds like a plunger
Ill never forget the first time I bought and played link to the past back in 1991 a shop called Dixon's for those who remember, which is now Currys, on the SNES i bought it on the launch when it came out and my god i still love it over 30 years later!!! will always have a special place in my heart. Remember crystal 1 and the magic hammer i couldn't find as it was in the big chest, i went to a phonebox to call Nintendo hotline asking them where xo i find the hammer and i write notes down woth the phone to ky ear, great times the early 90s were. ♥️
that funny because i always used the bombs and when i ran out i had to reset the game to make sure i had enough next time. Imagine my surprise when i found i could use the freaking hammer to do it
I found someone who doesn’t use the hammer on helmasaur king. Huh. Also all the later dark world bosses look pretty easy. Everything after blind and before the boss rush looks pretty easy
Jokt450 I play this on an emulator nowadays and I like being able to save anytime so if I fall off I just reload and keep going while saving between hits.
@@kyuura4324 Yeah, Trinexx is a pretty good one since it's actually surprisingly reasonable to try and fight it without taking damage, as compared to a lot of bosses where they just overwhelm you with random stuff to make you mess up.
I know hit boxes on the gba version are different I swear he got hit once in two different bosses the last one being turtle rock boss and the first one I have to watch again but it did have a very short link hit sound idk how he got invincibility but still very impressed not to get hit with mothula and blind bullet hell bosses.
I can't call out the time because either the vid or yt is counting backwards for me. But it's when he's dealing with the flame head he got hit. The other hit was wrong kholdstare fight was pixel perfect dodges.
He used cheat for not being damaged but during the video there are a lot of time where he's getting damaged. The animation and the hearts are not enabled. Look at 7:379:039:06 etc, there are a lot of these during all the vid
Using the ice rod on lanmola makes it way easier since it does way more damage. => Sahasrala actually tells you to go and fetch it so there had to be a reason why.
People commenting on how this brings back memories, im just here because i just beat the game for the first time and wanted to see if i fought Ganon properly lmao
4:41 Man did I hated that Beast. And if it’s in tears of the kingdom I’m so gonna freak. I had when I Had to Face That Dondora Bird again in Star Fox Zero. Not to mention a red one as well.

Why do I feel like I should be afraid of Trinexx?...
@@h.kingandtrinexx4257 and your point is?
@@SnailMaster Just look at what happens to it after the fire and ice heads are destroyed. It becomes something completely different!
But really, I'm not afraid of Trinexx...at all.
I like how an NPC in Kakariko Village references Blind before you even fight the first boss (Blind is the boss of Thieves Hideout for those of you who don’t know.)
What I like even more is the boss room is empty and you have to take blind there
Unlike most of the other bosses who get no foreshadowing at all.
Pretty weird how Blind hated sunlight, but his hideout in Kakariko Village had two windows that had sunlight shining through them.
@@thatkid604 Foreshadowing
Blind is cool as heck. I like to imagine he runs the village of outcasts from the underground

Used to play this game all the time as a little kid. Nostalgia inducing
Me too, I got it when I was 5 or 6
My cousins played it. They were the first to get a SNES in my family, so to see this was mind blowing. The scope of this game blew me away.
Nintendo obsession with eyes bosses
Alvaro

Definitely a lot of eyes, never realized that- thanks for pointing it out
And turtles monsters.
Nintendo’s Eye Fetish
Terraria have more hahaha
The first video game i've ever had. I remember playing this for countless hours on my snes
Now, touch it with a wish in your heart.
That ending gives me chills and thrills man

Immensely satisfying sound when a boss is hit.

this will be always be my number 1 zelda game, still awesome then and now.
ONE of the best.
This is my favourite Zelda game

10:24. Damn. I'm amazed you didn't take a hit there and luckily ducked between the lightning. I guess Vitreous lacked the vitreous to "see" that. 😂😂😂

that funny because i always used the bombs and when i ran out i had to reset the game to make sure i had enough next time. Imagine my surprise when i found i could use the freaking hammer to do it
I Always Use The Hammer Because It Was The Easy Way To Beat Him .
I love the fact he takes a swing at Ganon before the dialog starts, and he actually gets damage. MVP!
thank you uploading this the bosses are so much fun to fight in a link to the past

You're my favorite boss, braw xD I just finished the game yesterday. It's just amazing.
You have a brother it’s gemasaur king
No damage on Mothula is legitimately impressive.
Helmasaur King, my favorite without doubt.
The ice wand works wonders against the worm bosses
Never noticed it till now but the cloud like things surrounding Arrghus actually have faces on them.

8:54. Something neat to know when fighting Kholdstare. One use of the Bombos Medallion will destroy his ice shield completely.
Why does it sound like everytime you damage the bosses it sounds like the sound effect is saying “Ow”
Ow is a noise you make when you're hurt dumbo
he's right it does sound like ow but ur right too
he’s wrong it doesn’t sound like ow but ur wrong too
It probably hurts when they take damage. 😅

You, obviously.
Helmasaur king always seemed to be the most fun to fight
My favorite boss is Ganon (because he is the final boss and every moment of the game leads up to him), but my other favorite boss is you :)
So this is Ganon with the full Triforce? A Ganon who, up until this point, all but won?

9:16: Kracko from the Kirby series
The helmasaur king is very intimidating but it isn't hard at all

this and illussion of time two of the best 2D games in history
for the masked scorpion i thought was better the hammer
Chronotrigger. Secret of Mana. FF3. In particular CT. No storyline comes close to it.
The moldorm fight is the only bad fight. Good thing you can 2 shot it with the golden sword in the tower of ganon
The turtle rock boss will always be my favourite
