It looks like the magnet did its job and I'll never understand why some people have told me i didnt need to wait for the magnet to arrive when I was building my first transmission. God bless man, I wish I had more transmission knowledge, I'd be a little confused too with a hardened final drive and the fact that you're not like hammering and drag racing on it. I miss my straight cut b series final drive. My ATS final broke the same way on a downshift. Odd failure, but it happens from time to time.
