Honestly relieved to hear something other than a glowing review of House of Hunger! It was such a huge disappointment to me, and I’ve felt all year like I’m the only one who wasn’t head over heels for it
I don’t know why but the word merp makes me smile, it’s great. Also I will be buying some of these books to add to my ever growing, it will fall at some stage TBR.
lol. Emily Wilde is my #1 book of 2023, but I do not understand the love for The Fine Print. So we've got an opposite thing going. 😅
I read it and just raged about billionaires and how little he learned or empathized and cannot value human beings except that he thinks she's hot so sometimes he'll listen to her morals a tiny bit. The way he never fixed the fact that he robbed his workers of healthcare, even after meeting the guy dying from cancer who couldn't even afford not to show up to work? God, I was furious.
I really wish i was able to ignore all the shit that doesnt make sense, and just enjoy 4th wing becasue there are parts of it that sound pretty cool.

I'm so happy there's a polyamory book in here! Instant add it to my wishlist? I'm a polyam person in healthy relationships, but it took so much inner work to get there. It's so hard to find things that portray healthy polyam relationships (but you can find a love triangle anywhere🙄). Thank you for sharing this!
Finally got the nerve to start Wrath. Ruin absolutely destroyed me and I have been so scared to pick up the final book in this series. I LOVE The Faithful and the Fallen (you were one of the reasons I decided to check out these books 😊) and I want to find out how it ends but I think I'm going to have a rough time getting through the last book. 😅
I just read You Made a Fool of Death with Your Beauty last month and I absolutely loooooooooved it.

If you look on the actual dust jacket and all of the marketing for the book it actually says “enemies to lovers” 😅
