Everyone has different schedules and bc reading is my “job”, I have to invest a lot more time into it. 25 books is a completely normal amount of books to read and even if you had only read 1 book, I would still be proud of you for reading. The amount of books you read is perfect for you as an individual. Maybe you have other hobbies, maybe you’re at school, maybe both. No matter what, you still read a lot of books this year ❤️

I think that 2000 pages in one month is OK even though there are some readers who manage 100 pages in one hour; others who call themselves "slow readers" consider 20 pages an hour as a lot !

Nice job on reading 200 books this year!! I wish I had the time or energy to do that lol. Also all these recommendations sound fantastic and I can't wait to add them to my tbr list! I could only aspire to read so much and have such a gorgeous library like you :)
This is a bit off the topic of this video (which I hope isn't bad commenting etiquette! I rarely comment), but I was rewatching the video where Vanessa color-organized your books so you had to fix that monstrosity and I noticed that you had The Program by Suzanne Young on your shelf, but none of the other books in the series. Maybe you didn't know, or you just got them from the library (or you didn't like it enough to read the rest), but there are in fact 9 total books in that series (I actually was not aware of the 0.5, 3.5, or 5.5 books until just now so can't attest to their value but I'd imagine they're good). The main 6 books are such an awesome read when you read them in the published order, which isn't the chronological order (kind of a Star Wars situation I think).
The first 2 books are The Program and The Treatment, which are the main stories that follow Sloane in a society where su!cide is an epidemic. Then, the third and fourth are a prequel set respectively called The Remedy and The Epidemic, and those "somehow" lead up to the discovery of the start of aforementioned epidemic. The fifth and sixth books are The Adjustment and The Complication, which are a sequel set that take place shortly after the events of the original 2 books and tie everything together. The foreshadowing and layering and intertwined-ed-ness (new word that is so glorious lol) are just top tier imo.
Anyways, I read those a few years ago (as a teen) and I loved them. So like. To Madita, or anyone really, I highly recommend the series!
Sorry for the word vomit! I hope all who read this have a lovely day

I read about 80 books and I only rated two 5 stars but a ton were 4 stars. I would love to hear your opinion on anything written by Lynette Noni - she's written two fantasy series that I absolutely adore and one other duology that's more scifi/supernatural but is still really good

Maybe if you want to read some very good book you can read Animant Crumbs Staubchronik if you don´t mind reading in german. It´s slowburn romance and the love interest is hot grumpy librarian. It is kinda long but I really enjoyed it.

Last year I had a huge reading slump so I read 10 which isn’t nothing but I could’ve easily read more, so in 2024 I want to read 24 books😊

You know what I don't understand? You talk about your experience with books with so many emotions and understanding about the characters and storyline, you have read many types of books with so much passion since childhood, your English language almost seems like your mother tongue because you have developed it so well through reading. And then you still have fewer subscribers than other UA-camrs where they talk very superficially about their experiences (it seems as if they do it for the views and aesthetic). You deserve so much more, keep going sister

Honestly a big factor for me is just where I am currently in my life: UA-cam and with that reading is currently my job so I “have to” read a lot. But honestly swapping screen time for reading can help you a lot

200 books is an exaggeration, you are ruining your life. Read significantly less and more qualitatively, more difficult
