Thank you, once again for sharing a most interesting video. It's amazing 'where and what' you are able to capture. Greetings from far north Qld Australia.👋🙏
I asked the RSM Graham Jack of the Atholl Highlanders and he came back with this very comprehensive answer! Thanks Graham! It’s, forgive the pun, a bastardised Murray of Atholl tartan which the officers and pipe band wear to give distinction. Ranks wear the Hunting Murray (modern), predominantly greens and purple with red stripes pattern, pleated in the military way with red stripe prominent in the pleating if that all makes sense. There is an ancient Murray Tartan as well just to confuse you 😂 The Stuart/Stewart of Atholl side of the Murray’s wear a much redder tartan (At Culloden the Murray’s were divided with followers of the Royal Stuart and Jacobite Murray followers fighting on opposite sides)
Just out of hospital for something else, no drugs as placed, no mental impairment where scientific tests could also hold regard as well as no physical mental or physical diminished capacity associated with what was implied. Thank very much.

Thank you so much for your research into tracking down the interesting tartan. I will dig out my book on tartans to look up the varieties mentioned!!!
