Just ending our visit to lovely Charleston. Have been here, as a guest, many times over the years and love that this city grows and changes and yet, never changes it’s romantic charm. We treated ourselves to an almost week long stay at Hotel Bennett. Beautiful decor, elegant room and bath, very friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommend. The inflation situation has raised food prices at restaurants but I believe this will eventually adjust. We ate high and low. Carriage tour is a must to get a great tour and overview of history. Charleston is always a great destination for everyone. Prepare to walk, bring comfy shoes.

Do NOT stay at the Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina...way overpriced and absolutely not a five star resort.
Y'all quit talking this place up,Savannah is so much better and bigger.
All the islands are not Charleston.
