Do the viewmodels in demos still appear laggy in clips? Saw a bunch of Virre's clips with switching guns looking laggy and didn't even bother editing anymore cause of that.
Hello! Unfortunately the view models/player models are still laggy. Oddly enough, they appear smooth when using the left handed view model. Hopefully a fix will come in the near future!

Hey mate. Could be a variety of reasons for that. Most likely, ffmpeg isn’t installed in the right folder. Join my discord in the description and I can walk you through it
is it possible to change the sky in a cs2 demo like we did in csgo?
Unfortunately not as of right now. You can with Source Film Maker, though.

Hey mate. Are you getting that error when trying to play it in a media player? These clips usually don’t decode well on media players because of how hefty they are. Just throw the clip in your editor and it should be fine.

Hey mate. Great question. HLAE launches CS2 with the -insecure flag, meaning it won’t connect CS2 to the live anti cheat service. That also means you won’t be able to join any servers. Only can watch demos or play in offline practice mode with bots.
Does this method record every layer?
Unfortunately there aren’t different “layers” like with CSGO. What you see on screen is what you what you get in the recording.
Can you do a tutorial on how to pan camera perfectly around a player model, if thats possible

Can't you use the arrow / movement keys when spectating a player in thirdperson? I think that used to work in CS:GO.
@@Dechno1337 but i dont think you can change the distance between player and cam, as well as the fov, but that would be good if it worked
@@Markkxd (sv_cheats 1): default_fov and fov_cs_debug are two fov-related commands I found.

Hello, I previously downloaded HLAE for csgo 3 years ago it worked perfectly fine, I tried downloading it again and it doesnt allow me to download, I get needs permission to download and I have full control on. Tried everything I could possibly search but no help ._. If u know any tips I would appreciate it. Love the videos they helped me a lot
Hey mate. Sounds like a Windows issue. Unsure what kind of permissions you have set, but they might be too strict.
@@AnthonyPerfetto I downloaded the second latest version of HLAE and set it up perfectly but when I click OK cs2 launches for 2 seconds then crashes..
@@Vushaj if your CS2 is up to date, then you need to DL the latest version of HLAE as well.

Hey mate. Can you elaborate on this question? The benefit compared to other recording software? The benefit of recording frags in general? The benefit of recording straight to avi? Tough to answer when I don’t know the relation your comparing this to
i ve tried this and the video i got is completly broken and laggy.
Hey mate. If you used 600 fps like I did in the tutorial, then the footage will absolutely be laggy in a media player or on your timeline. That’s normal when recording at high frame rate. It won’t look like that after you render.
You could have also missed a step or the demo itself is broken and laggy. Tough to say, but I think it’s my first explanation.
