I feel like Vegas does random things or you accidentally bump something in the setting goes away and you never know where it came from. Such a case is velocity envelopes. I had a video on my time line and I increased the velocity by sliding the bar up and all of a sudden these little black triangles (Keyframes?) appeared at the top of the video track which show me how often the video repeated when I increase the velocity as well as at what point. And when I change the velocity these lines would move either closer or further away depending upon if I spent up the video or slowed it down of course always being at normal velocity or above. Unfortunately, I bumped something and now I can't find these triangles anymore they just don't show up anymore and they're little black diamonds or whatever. Can't find the setting can't find anybody mentioning them on the Internet it's like they never really existed. I'd like to get them back but I have no idea how to describe them and every search that I'm trying to do doesn't find it and this video doesn't even mention it. I find them very handy because I don't have to search the video it's right there obvious but not anymore.

do you put any of the commands in a cfg just to automate it?

hi! i read your comment about media players having a hard time watching high fps recordings but it should be fine in editing. not sure if it will be a problem for me but im having this weird situation. all recordings from non first person pov (like a floating cam pov) will play fine in vlc, but for some reason, first person ones will either not play, have super low fps, or have weird encoding artifacts. (checking rn and they appear fine in ae though.) would you know any explanation for this? btw, goated tutorial, i initially followed rocklans video but that involved recording as tga image sequence, then converting to png which took a lot of space and time. no shade to him but your method is miles quicker!

Have you ever had it happen that you boot up HLAE and then once you're done and go back in the real game just for playing sake, your audio settings are messed up? Like the EQ profile, L/R isolation, perspective correction and such. All messed up for me :/

Great, wholesome and funny video! I never understood why people don't just sync snipe shots to the snare drum (or 2nd beat, depending on the song ofc), to me that's the only sync that works and looks cool. For rifles syncing to the kick (1st beat) works great. Also we need more drum n bass in these frag movies :( more complexity (not the org haha) and action, cinematic is just boring, but I thank god for the cs community not overdoing the same few rap songs like the valorant community does, GOD THE VALORANT COMMUNITY, GOD HELP THEM Obviously everyone should do what they see fit according to their taste, Virre here may be making some nice money from these, but he's still doing what he loves, not what everyone else wants to see and I respect that.

good tutorial, but eqing is subjective, I already see all the noobs blindly eqing with your exact settings without using their ears just like video audio is art and you should just do what sounds good to you, but be careful of the common pitfall of louder sounding better also before boosting you should always cut and see if you like the result, if you want cleaner highs, cut some lows right now I'm making a bass heavy cod edit and to me it sounds better if I remove the sub bass from the game footage so this drum and bass track can cut through more, but I'm not 100% sure if I want that so I will just trust my ears later because sometimes you fuck with audio too much you just make a whole new mess lol but overall a great video quick tip: you don't need to do it one by one and copy/paste event attributes, depending on your situation you can click the three dots on the audio channel and click "track fx" so it will apply it to all of your clips, IF that's what your situation calls for, for me it does since I'm making a much more simpler edit, for Anthony I feel like detailing is a better approach advanced tip mainly for you mister Anthony I suggest Fabfilter Pro Q3, it's an actual graphic EQ, it visually shows you what's going on so you can easily cut and boost where you want to with surgical precision, it also allows for dynamic eq, but that's more important for music producers, I have a feeling you might already be using some third party plugin like that, but don't mention it so it's easier for beginners to understand the tutorials, sometimes a tutorial can be overwhelming, that's why I like your tuts, simple and to the point Have a nice day and thank you for all the help with your videos!

is there a solution for enemy and teammate player animations running at a lower fps than the client is rendering at? its very noticeable when recording 600fps for example. viewmodel and other stuff seems to run at the client framerate but the 3rd person player anims seem to be fixed to a certain framerate that is too low
