Merry Christmas my friend. Thanks for all the videos you provided for us this year and a guy can't wait to see what you have in 2025. Take it easy my man God bless and have a wonderful Christmas.
Man, wish I could get something decent like that uwu" Anyway, happy holidays pal. Kind of a rough year but hope to see more in the future... I'll try to turn another office pc into a "mid range" gaming pc in the future xD Ok, quick question... What's the difference between Thermal Paste and Thermal "putty/puddy"???
I have a similar electric screwdriver kit, looks almost exactly the same as yours but without the display, and it's pretty good for a hobbyist PC flipper. Saves you a lot of time when you tear PCs apart and put them back together almost every day. It's kind of fiddly though as the magnetism in the bits is a bit lacking (even after using the magnetizer) so you sometimes end up dropping screws that you are trying to seat or pull out. Also the motor isn't always strong enough to initially break tight screws lose, so you have to sort of help it out by twisting it. Overall though definitely recommend a kit like that for anyone who fiddles with PCs and laptops a lot. It's a huge time-saver.
I bought one of those Fanttik screwdriver kits from Costco a few days ago. For $39, I figured what the heck. The whole thing is solidly built, I'll give it that.
Not a bad deal for that laptop. Was going to also suggest on noisy fans is check the bearing on the fans. When properly greased they can be a lot quieter if the barring are properly lubed.
New laptops ar so thin these days, so you have to clean them and change the thermal paste evrey year, it are very thin pipes wich suck in the air. I do a lot every year. Grtz from the Netherlands and keep up the good work
Meh 50$ is way too much for that screwdriver, you get ripped of on Amazon, same screwdriver on aliexpress is half the price but for 20-30$ you can buy even better screwdriver sets, I got a very nice Wiha\Xiaomi set that is not produced anymore for 30$ a few years ago.
Two additional things. One- by rubbing your labtop with the microfibre rug, you charged it with static electricity. Don't!! Two - get a glue residue remover. Oh,and a bonus one - alcohol - soaked disposables ARE your friend, while removing the dry thermal paste.
Excellent video. My old laptop heats up like Chernobyl and I may give it more life using the solution you documented here. Thanks and Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas!
I absolutely hate stickers, I take them off day one. Doesn't matter if it's a PC, a laptop or a vehicle or whatever. The stickers has to go.
Immediately the first thing I saw when this video started is the load of stickers crap he has on his breaker panel. So ugly lol
nice effort!

I use an old HDD magnet. I keep a couple in my tool box.
Brooo, we need to know the flavor of it! 😃 That screwdriver looks nice, def a great review if it
I thought you were using the LTT mini screwdriver for awhile. I was gifted one for my birthday, pretty badass I'll give it that..
My wife got me the Wowstick F1+ a few years ago. It is similar to it. I love it and use it all the time.
Same here
@@Straydogtech-wf9kj my wife bought you a wowstick? just kidding. little thing definitely comes in handy.
The fan motor may be worn so a replacement fan unit may help.
This is the way.

The viscosity.
Putty is more like a grease
It’s funny how people expect GAMING laptops to be silent.
Install the Asus Armory Crate on it. It will give you more control over it,you can select silent mode and you will have way better temps
I like keeping the stickers on PC most of the time especially if I've upgraded it beyond spec. 😂

A little undervolt/underclock goes a long way with laptops. You won't lose much performance anyways.
Yeah, I will have to try that out.
love from greece bby
I keep them in unless its becomes slightly damaged or starts to peel
Did you clean out the blower fans?
i leave the stickers on so when i sell it they know what they r getting on the inside
The only reason I leave the stickers on is so that others or my self will know what the model is to get replacement parts.

I always use the noctua thermal paste
Did you clean the fans out and blow them out
try some undervolting on the cpu and gpu
needs rohs thermal paste factory works great for my laptops
I leave the stickers on i dont mind them rgb bothers me more
Turn off Turbo Boost in the BIOS
Why are left handed technicians worse than right handed ones lol

Wrong.
The first thing to look for, after opening the laptop, especially one from the unknown user,is the traces of spillage.
bro wtf you be doing with your hands why they always dirty while doing a video
Personally I clean the fans out every 5 or 6 months to avoid the over heating issues.

A: static charge? On plastic? OK...
B: GOOGone IS a glue residue remover.
