A freelancers crazy schedule, and importance of being organized.

Managing your schedule as a freelancer takes a great deal of organization. As a freelancer, you find yourself doing many different things and will find that many schedule conflicts arise that you'll have to manage. This video covers things to consider in taking one job or gig and subbing out of a previous gig/job, and the risk involved in doing that.

Hey Julia. I love your vids so much they are sooo helpful and really give piccolo players a consistent professional to look up to. I had a question though, what would be your best tips for piccolo players when prepping for regional or all state auditions?

For those auditions, I would listen to a recording of the pieces and look here on YT to see if someone has done a tutorial or a demo on it. You might also want to get a few lessons on piccolo specifically to gain confidence on controlling the instrument.

Generally tho- I think if you play with correct rhythm and pitches and have decent intonation on piccolo, you should be good. Good luck!
