JB you are being so polite. I've seen you go crazy on Ram interior. No way this interior is in the game for 2023. This looks like a 30 year old plastic nightmare.
This is my truck! I have the 2020. I see people picking on the interior, but it has everything I want and need. We tow a fifth wheel with it and you don’t even know it’s back there! GREAT TRUCK!!!
Another good thing about the new GM trucks is the bed size compared to ram and ford not only are they longer but the way they chiseled out the bed rails is awesome not to mention tie down points for days.
This is really nice for a 3/4 ton PU diesel. Good tow number and very good payload. Naturally the GVWR gets you the payload. There are things that I feel GM does better like incorporating the side and rear steps to access the bed. Those are nice and there is no option needed to buy. But I do agree that Ram & Ford still have GM beat in many ways. Good review JB on this truck. I wish you could review a 1 ton Denali with a gas engine. Love to see the payload numbers on one. Thanks
Hey JB, just picked up my 2023 Silverado 2500 HD High Country on August 18th. It has a bit more equipment than the Denali you reviewed, my MSRP was $84,490 and believe it or not, I payed under MSRP. I consider myself very fortunate in these times, where car dealers are scalping customers to have dealt with an honest dealership. Very rare in these times. The only issue I have with GM, is the fact they don’t provide a tray for the center console, it’s a cost extra accessory. Ford and Chrysler are standard equipment. Pretty chintzy IMHO. Great review of a great pickup.
Oh wow, I’m starting to hear dealers sell at MSRP but that’s because units are not selling with 15 days anymore. Amazon has trays too that may be cheaper but I get that, thanks 👍🏾
If you are upset about a tray missing you would hate my truck I have the work truck model and they don’t come with center consoles for the bench seat….. what was GM thinking when they did that. But like JB said I went on Amazon and got me a little something something.
I also just bought a 22 Chevrolet Chevrolet 2500 High Country. They definitely cheapened the interior from the last generation. They took away the sunglasses holder, adjustable seatbelts, console tray, and absolutely worst of all the adjustable petals. (I looked back at this video and this 2023 GMC has adjustable seatbelts, the 2022’s do not.) I cannot get comfortable in the seats because I can’t adjust the petals and the seat bottom doesn’t adjust enough to support my legs. I’m not an odd size person (6’ and 200 lbs). My brother also bought a 22 Ram 2500 Laramie and I am much more comfortable in his truck. Unfortunately, long distance traveling is uncomfortable for me with the seats and thin steering wheel. I do absolutely love the duramax and 10 speed transmission, bed, multipro tailgate, and side steps into the bed. In my opinion they have the perfect truck except for the interior. The new 1500 interior unfortunately will not address my problems with it though as they only added a bunch of screens and changed the dash. To my knowledge, they still did not add back the seatbelt adjusters, petal adjustment, and sunglasses holder. If they just brought back the petal adjustment all will be fine with me.
Nice video, very well thought out and you hit the points that really matter. A couple things you could address in another video; if you don't want the multi function tailgate the power down and power up is a game changer. I find that this is way more usable for my day to day needs. Also, the trailer camera is another level for my 30ft enclosed car hauler. I installed it above the rear marker lights and ran the cable along the roofline. Seeing behind that beast takes the guess work out of backing. I just got a 2023 3500 Silverado High Country duramax and got it for almost $8000 under msrp with GMS pricing. Sticker was $84600. You do the math. Keep up the videos!!
GM and Ford HD truck in my opinion is way more reasonable with their Gvwr group for the SRW but the 3/4 ton GM truck is for the win. But what I love about Ford 12” screen is more practical than the ram because you have hard buttons for the A/C units because ram is digital. What I love about both Ford F-350 srw and the gmc 3/4 ton and 1 ton srw is the GVWR and payload but the 3/4 GM and ford is some what similar.
Great info, GM 3/4 tons are the top pick and if someone is doing hotshot and registering in a state that is strict on the 26k GCWR, GM still offers the 10k GVWR as well 👍🏾
Excellent video, good to keep bringing up payload. RV'ers need payload, RV'ers need to drag lots of junk around on long trips, it is that simple. Tongue weights can be surprisingly high, GM's wacky pricing, at least in the "old days", sometimes, means a 1500 isn't much cheaper.
Just my opinion... GM trucks are the best looking on the outside. Can't wait to see the new interior in the HD! Ford, I'm just not a fan of anything they've got going on. Ram, probably has the best interior right now and the best towing. You can't beat the Cummings and the air suspension setup. Good video!

@JB Reviews got off the phone with Jessie. Was really cool to see Jessie in your video. We had seen him about 4 months ago when visiting family in Idaho. Part of our visit was to shop for trucks in Idaho. But at that time a lot of the dealerships did not have the refresh 2022's. Those that did wanted way above MSRP. So currently we have a 2023 order in with a dealership in Tennessee. The 6.2 gas with 10 speed transmission towing package in the Volcano red/walnut interior. But Jesse was very accommodating almost enough to drive back to Idaho he had a white SLT Sierra standard bed 6.2 w/10 speed jet black interior for about 68000 which is pretty inviting. Some of these dealerships their allocation can't meet the demand. So it's really hard to find anyone selling close to MSRP. But if you can find a dealership willing to work with you that vehicle can be dropshiped just about anywhere. There is a $2,000 courtesy delivery fee for whichever dealership accepts the vehicle. Times are changing with the way vehicles are purchased and as long as you're willing to do the leg work there are good deals to be found. Jesse really knows his stuff though.
I love my 2022 Denali it has the power the only thing that I wish they had was the screen to be bigger but I guess we have to wait till 2024 and more tq
Nice video. I think that color red is the best color for the Sierra. I love it and probably would pick it over my color (Red Hot) if I’d got a GMC. Also nice to see a salesman mention how payload affects towing capacity. He’s probably had potential customers quote Ram’s 2500 20,000 pound tow rating and had to explain to them how you could almost never get there with 2000 pounds of payload.
Yours is a little darker than this right? I was very surprised by Jesse because typically when I show salespeople the payload sticker, they clearly have no clue what it is and he started explaining it 💪🏾👍🏾

I own a 20 and hate it. Too many problems with it to name but since most here are hating interior and price I will agree. The plastic panels on doors and pretty much everywhere scratch way too easy. The trim pieces on steering wheel around controls is some rubber coating that is rubbing off. Be careful when getting in the truck because the floor rock guards where the metal Denali or at4 insert is looks like it’s been through a war from my shoes scratch them. Pure plastic crap! Sorry, it is! And on a truck with only 16k miles on it…Love the look of the truck and the ride but that’s it.
The HUD is far from “phenomenal”. Maybe compared to Ford and Dodge, but that’s not much of a standard for comparison. It’s woefully behind other car manufacturers.

Only 87k price y knot give them 100k so crazy even with 40k down alot of lettuce so so crazy
Nice
Add a moon roof
Who the hell could afford one
This truck does have an overload leaf spring is on the bottom
True but I was talking about the upper leafs that the 1 ton gets
Thank you for sharing. I will only say this, my opinion this is not a true Denali interior.
No problem, Yea normally you don’t see a black interior without the two tone accents which really does set it apart 👍🏾
I have always disliked this particular interior. Good news is the 2024s are on the way.
Good video 😀 you think 86 thousand is a good price that's to much 😝 that's not even long bed nor does it have tow package I'm a chevy guy waiting for 24 dully I would not buy that truck
90k for a truck with a 89 corolla interior. Gm guy here and they area a massive let down, unless it's the c8 corvette
86k for that infotainment?!?!?! negative
2024 should fix this 👍🏾
@@JB_WhoWork yea bro, for years its like come on GMC lol
GM has always lived by the saying, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” lol
I grew up on GM products. It sucks to see them so far behind the competition in the truck world.
They are still competing well especially after seeing how well it towed my fifth wheel compared to the ford HD 👍🏾
Gm is last in interior styling. No doubt. But. I’d say they’re ahead of ram on most things and on par with ford if not ahead.
@@Bostonharborwater I agree, it's the interior that I'm mostly referring to.
I hate click bait.
Click bait? I put question marks 🤘🏾
$86,000....lol. Idk how people do it
Everything you see on that truck came from RAM I'm sorry.
Well you were wrong !!!
The 2023 won’t sell with the old out dated interior
Ram 1500 has HUD.
Interior is from 1990
Dennis Dillon Finance departments is a bunch of liars. Bought a truck there. Hated the experience.
Negative reviews and complaint coming.
Correct yourself brother “ Jesse quatrone” you guys don’t have the best pricing in the USA Tampa Bay Rivard gmc is the best pricing in the entire USA 🇺🇸 ok! Correct me if I’m wrong brother 😎
them side marker lights on the fenders gotta go, what were they thinking when they started that?🤢
Bro they look good
Still looks awful compared to Ram.
No, it does not
That interior is trash and for the price it's out of hand for all that plastic
it is a shit interior
The dashboard looks like RAM I'm sorry.
Not even close in my eyes 😉
Hey Brandon 😆
No way lol
Super bad interior...... ram way better!
No thank you gmc sucks I'll take a f350 limited diesel
Bro…..I can’t even take your content serious now…..the moment you said “this interior is not terrible” you lost me as a subscriber. It’s “death by cheap looking plastic” not only is it the worst looking truck interior, it’s just the worst period.
