Yeah was a bit lame. I have since replaced the knockoff td06 with a blouch 1.5 xtr which spools a good 800 rpm earlier. I hav to weld some chassis cracks up and then get a new vid up.
nice work! i have turbocharged 1.6 boxer with 87 pistons and 67,2 mm stroke crankshaft, 8 valves(from my calculations, the comp ratio is around 7:1 now) , its porducing 180hp and 220 Nm at 0.9 bar I am using FMIC too now I am trying to change the engine for 1.7 using standard pistons and 72mm stroke crankshaft, and use the stock compresiion ratio of 9.5 :1(but I think its more like 9:1 from the factory) is this possible with 1 bar of boost(maybe 1.2) and runnning 100 octane fuel? what would be the power? i would go for higher comp ratio for more torque down low, its a daily driver
standard head studs and factory gasket. I just make sure that the heads are immaculate (clean) to allow the gasket to do its job properly. No o-ringing etc. There is no point in going for more power when I spin tyres at 4000 rpm.
Its 2022, can we get a new vid! Love the car
nice job,great sound.....
Awesome

What head studs and gasket are you using and where did you get them from? Amazing build
