its a genuine Problem on our 147 too, the mat can get stuck under the Accelerator when your feet push them forward. normally they are clipped in place but those clips break with time.
This video has made me REALLY miss my 147 GTA! With a few more mods these can be absolutely dialled in to drive! Highly recommend the short shift kit to help with the wobbly gear stick...! The sound is addictive ! Great lap as always Misha!!
I had an Alfa GT 3.2 busso, I regret selling it, and that sound just brings a smile to my face, such great memories. But, kids, life, fuel, it wasn’t a good daily anymore, but I miss it, I’ll probably have another busso in the future (maybe 156) for the weekends.
Now I need to see a well tuned version of it :) with the roll bars, nicer coilovers, quaiffe diff, really good tyres, some powerplex bushings, and maybe even more power :D Really wanted to see Misha taking out everything from this particular car, and make it "fly"
You can find it on UA-cam . Search for Davide Cironi 147 gta . Unfortunately for you is all in Italian but you will get subtitles and beautiful scenery if Italian roads and amazing sound of the modified exhaust plus diff and other small touches . But as I said in a comment above if I owned one now I would not tune it as I think it will be a collectors car soon .
This goes on to show that the Top Gear episode was greatly exaggerated (as it should be since it’s entertainment). The GTAs had some improvements that went beyond the bigger engine. Wider track with specific panels, control arms and dampers, tighter steering rack, oil cooler and an entirely revised rear suspension with modified anchor points. While Alfa should have made the Q2 differential standard, the tipo II rev 3 platform was very refined for its segment and not a cheap Fiat as we were led to believe.

Great NA V6 👌❤ Handling surprised me - way less understeer than I would have expected with a severe front weight bias that was yet worsened by two people in front and rear seat delete. Barely any torquesteer either - does it have an LSD? 6:04 well that's how you actually set up a FWD - front axle softer for increased grip, rear axle stiffer for less grip, to make the car turn easier under braking and acceleration.
yeah, there's a lot you can do in order to mitigate unequal weight distribution, in an well set up FWD car some things may seem counter-intuitive (like you mentioned softer front than rear, or rear anti-roll bar so stiff that the car tripods around the corners), but they help a lot to get rid of the understeer.
The 147 have proper double wishbone suspension on the rear and multilink on the rear which provides passive steering . It is a really good platform for a track oriented tune or just an enjoyable FWD

Misha got the early access to GTA 147 no way
Very responsive engine, sounds great, very cool car imo!
Did I heard oil pressure should be 3 bar and is now 4 bar which is not quite good? What is the logical about that?
Oh wait its probably a bar graph😂 now I get it
I don't know how a car with that weight at the front has stability to do a circuit.... i mean, it's not an longitudinal engine whith transaxel, it's a more conventional transversal engine whith transmition all at the front......can misha explain this please....?
Simple, its an Alfa 👍😄
Me encanta ese coche desde siempre me gustó cuando salió fue un espectáculo
These are so much better with Alfa's own Q2 diff or a Quafie diff.
I’ve heard the quaife upgrade is starting to actually be a cheaper option to the Q2 even though it’s arguably a bit better
Front facing camera position 👍👍
Is that the original speedometer that says 180 mph?
Bravo on the title.
Love this alfa v6 sound😋😋
была у меня альфа , как я кайфофал с этого звука , утром на работу ,пока приезжаешь уже довольный как слон )
