Seen this on quite a few . One actually came to us after having a new turbo fitted that didnt fix the fault . Air filter sucked inside housing totally starving engine of airflow
I’m having a turbo issue - lack of power… noticed it’s the original fuel filter from 2010 . Changed it but still having the engine management light come on when asking for full acceleration. Do I have the clear the faults and try again … not sure if it will keep triggering if the fault isn’t wiped
I'm not understanding this...so the dpf spray didn't work ...so then you said the dpf filter would have to come off to clean it manually ..but in the video it wasn't taken off ..so the car fixed itself..
Out of interest Sandy, if you had changed the fuel filter first, the DPF would still have been full of soot, so I'm assuming you would still need to clean it?
Got to be honest any DPF faults I always change Engine oil/filter and Fuel filter plus add a can of Fuel additive as a starting point. Unless i can guarantee they have been done recently.
@@sandyande Hahaha That old chestnut how many times i've heard that, I had a twat driving an S Class Merc tell me that and Nickle & Dime me over a £300 quid bill! No money no play I'm afraid from now on.
Had a 2012 nissan juke 1.5dci in last week with same issues. dash lights and no power. Fuel Filter is a complete pig on those ..were a original one it as well .new filter and a 40min drive cured it .👍👍
I have a question very helpful video , when you say no power the turbo wasn't kicking because of the fuel filter too Im having the seme problem no power turbo not responding check paper work last time they change the fuel filter was in 2015 do you think can be the same issue thank you
Dpfs are a pain in the bum , my mate has a landrover defender 90 in 2013 , so a transit engine , during last lockdown it wouldnt start at home , customer jump started it , went back in the house at 6/7pm , forgot about it, went out at 8am , still idling , but now dpf blocked , we tried the 2 man job today , driving it round , clearing codes , blast for 15 seconds then light back on 👍👍, gonna have another look on monday , fitting new kitchen tomorrow at home 🤣🤣😂😂
Hi pal does the fuel filter in these come as a whole unit or can you change the inside. Mines a j11 garage recons they changed it but still same dirty old thing in there.
Nice Sandy. I have never had much luck trying to clean the dpf myself always end up getting them cleaned.
You can force the dpf 5 injector on with the scan tool. Also run some dpf cleaner threw whilst the engine is running
Awesome, hopefully that pipe is the issue im having.
Agree Jon full service history 😂🤣😂
I would also inspect the air filter..they normally get so blocked they collapse.

@@cpo73 so many people scared of changing fuel filters. Yes some are a pain but it's basic required maintenance.

Always start with the cheapest item first! Change the fuel filter
