I would argue that what the Phantom Thieves did was remove people from the desire to be free from the difficulties of life (aka the sin of sloth). I wouldn't exactly say that this is removing them from wanting death... that's a whole 'nother can of worms.

My guess is that the Protag changed that part of the heart that made people unwilling to fight against their darker sides and wish to be enslaved. This filling them with a will to fight and overcome themselves took away their desire for death which was a result of their feeling like they had no hope. Then what will happen is that Erebus will be destroyed due to being so weakened by that change of heart that what will then happen is that Elizabeth will be able to free Door-kun
Just wanna see this before we depart to Persona 5. One of my favorite battle in the entire Persona series. But it's funny. Yukari said "He's watching us. I won't let him down!". Because that's true. We were the seal, and now we're watching them, as a player.

Buuuut Yukari even after that DEFINETLY wants to go to the past to "save" him. I noticed something, in the game it's April first, which is April fools day, and as you know the fool arcana is the number "0" so in this case. it's representing of the fool arcana, which is in the game Makoto and Aigis

But If I remember right the gods, in Persona, like Philemon and not allowed to interfere directly with humans, only oversee, that was the point behind the first two games, something broke that rule so he stepped in and left after the second game, but Nyx is fulfilling her purpose willed into existence by humanity. This is the same reason those of the Velvet Room that he created are not allowed to do so as well and why Elizabeth had to leave when she decided to do so. The Velvet Room and it’s attendants are only allowed to provide aid to those with a contract, and those individuals are bond by the consequences of their choices. One group is allowed to attempt change, and if they chose not to that is also up to them. The only thing that could save him if humanity itself choses to remember life instead of death and thus no longer calls to Nyx

I like that end but hate at the same time! It might have seemed controversial but Nyx was a very powerful enemy and as the course that took the battle was inevitable death of the protagonist!

You could try placing his heart and soul into a Mii. Look at it like this. A robot in another game existed in a replica body when something took his original body. It could be possible to place Minato's soul into a mii.

I noticed something, in the game it's April first, which is April fools day, and as you know the fool arcana is the number "0" so in this case. it's representing of the fool arcana, which is in the game Makoto and Aigis
I know this is old but the reason it was April the 1st was bc of that reason. The fool means the coming of new beginnings and that's what p3 characters got. Also Igor pulled a massive gottem with metis.

Seeing Makoto hanging from the seal like that, wrapped in barbed wire and getting continuously beaten and attacked by Erebus... Yeesh. That hurts.
Kind of makes me hope that he actually _is_ dead and not conscious as the Great Seal, because consciously enduring _this_ until the ends of eternity... There are fates worse than death, certainly.

The only thing Elizabeth can do is to talk to Philemon, hes the only god like being who can save the MC
But If I remember right the gods, in Persona, like Philemon and not allowed to interfere directly with humans, only oversee, that was the point behind the first two games, something broke that rule so he stepped in and left after the second game, but Nyx is fulfilling her purpose willed into existence by humanity. This is the same reason those of the Velvet Room that he created are not allowed to do so as well and why Elizabeth had to leave when she decided to do so. The Velvet Room and it’s attendants are only allowed to provide aid to those with a contract, and those individuals are bond by the consequences of their choices. One group is allowed to attempt change, and if they chose not to that is also up to them. The only thing that could save him if humanity itself choses to remember life instead of death and thus no longer calls to Nyx

Life will always end it’s not bad it’s just something that happens and in depression some people will seek that out.
