Are you team beach, or snowy mountains?
I like both but tend towards the beach more.
Both, lol!
Snowy mountains for sure!!
I so love the solitude of the mountains , be them snowy or not. Let your travels be where your heart takes you.🏔⛱🌊
Snowy Mountains
I really don’t care that you’re not the first to film an area. Truth is, very little hasn’t already been filmed. Just keep sharing an interesting story, and I will keep watching. 😊
We’re a retired couple living full time in our Promaster and spend winters in Mexico on the mainland for more variety than the deserts of Baja. Baja is much more Americanized which makes it a good place to start and I am sure you will find it just great. Take a rabies certificate of course but officials on either side of the border don’t care about your dog and unless they ask just say nothing.
We are in Panama this year aiming to see South America in our van and we have found everyone along the way nothing but kind and helpful. Tell that to the doubters. Have fun and keep on keeping on.
You certainly have a happy dog.Amazing stop over on this quiet beach.
it's so great to see you relaxing in a warm, dry place. And you even have access to a lake, how perfect! I have so enjoyed seeing Terra free to wander and explore. I'm so glad your confidence in her has grown so that she can enjoy some liberty. I'm very interested in seeing how you manage navigating through the bordertowns of Mexico and making your way south. I am one of those people afraid to drive through Mexico, especially along the border. I'm hoping to gain understanding in how to do it safely. Have a great reunion with your family, and a safe and beautiful drive to the Baja peninsula.
I so agree with you regarding the trash. I don't get why people leave their trash strewn on the ground as if doesn't matter, it's awful. But you're awesome to have picked it up! "Leave it better than you found it" Cheers to that! Have a beautiful time with your parents. :)
When I was ten years old, my dad bought me a forever national parks pass. And now at sixty-seven it's still excepted every time I roll up to a ranger station.
Nice!!! I dont see many pickup campers anymore. When I was a kid we went all over the desert southwest in a pickup camper.
Two adults and three of us kids 4, 10, 12. No way was there room in the cab for all 5 of us. I was the oldest and got elected to travel in the camper.
I actually enjoyed it as I could read, play games/solitaire, or sleep. But boy did it sometimes get hot!!!
Thinking back I now cringe at how dangerous it was. Dont blame my parents its just the way things were back then. No one wore seatbelts either!
Lake Mohave is one of my favorite, so peaceful and no signs of civilization (other than the trash). Trash I found to be way worse in Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico than in Utah, Colorado or Wyoming. And trash always comes with glass or cans, which means partiers, people drinking. The problem is not campers, it's week-end partiers. Before they outlaw camping, they should outlaw drinking !
Love 💕 and light to all ❤ 😊..
What a lovely relaxing video Alex, I really enjoyed it, gorgeous scenery. Merry Christmas to you and Tara!🌲
Hey Alex so glad you have a Starlink & Bluetti/Solar panels makes life easier! So are you chasing the Sun as lots of Desert? Lovely lake vista & the trash shows some campers are just LAZY! Baja is waiting for you!! Take care & enjoy time with your Parents for Christmas! 🍻🎉🎁😁 💜 from Australia 🇦🇺🐨
Wow what a camp view
I'm excited to see you head to Baja and enjoy the scenery, the somewhat sketchy roads and good food and beaches!! I hope to get there when my bus is done, but for now I'll look forward to seeing you explore it! Hope you have an amazing holiday with your family Alex! 😊🙏🏽
Yes, Baja! I also want to go down there but am reluctant/scared/worried to go down on my own. I look forward to your Mexico series (and also I enjoy all your vlogs btw)! And, please be careful and I send positive vibes for your journey.
Good winter to leave. Sure any missing much 😂😭
You certainly found a great place to camp and even near water. Have fun and be safe wherever you journey.
Doesn't have to be the first. Love watching your travels.
Love seeing that beautiful smile and blue eyes every week, thank you for posting
I'm looking forward to seeing/watching your adventures in Baja. Maddie Taylor had some incredible experiences down there and I hope you have some too. I hope that you and Terra have a wonderful Christmas/Holiday and I hope you two have a wonderful time with your parents. Take care and stay safe.
Alex, your videos bring me inspiration and happiness. Thank you for both.

Terra is such a great bestie! ❤
She is the absolute best :)
Watching you and Tara, has made me seriously look into full time life on the road. Keep up the great adventures ❤❤❤❤❤
Looking forward to your adventures
Merry Christmas🎅 and Safe Travels❣
Off-grid power is awesome. My 100 watt Goal Zero panel more than takes care of my fridge and secondary battery.
Wonderful to look forward to you Mexico trip. Wishing you a merry Xmas , I know it’s probably finished over where you are but here in New Zealand it’s Xmas day tomorrow. Cheers, I’m from Australia but travelling in nz for 4 months, without my campervan and really missing it.
Wow what a challenge 5 days off the grid that amazing merry Christmas to you
It was so fun! I am excited to push it even further in the near future :)
Love yours and Tara's adventures. Merry Christmas!!
Very cool setup for sure!
I'm excited to see your experience in Baja!
Main, and Mexico you have to watch where you go and follow State Dept warnings. Baja everywhere is safe the Mexican military is the to keep it safe. La Paz in the south is mostly expatriate Americans retired and running businesses there. You still have to be aware in Baja, but nothing like mainland Mexico. There are some places there that you should even travel through and need to drive around. Do your research on the mainland! Hit up a local at a coffee bar, ask where should I not camp or stay. They will tell you. Maybe pay for their coffee.
Awesome l can hardly wait for that Baja adventure ❤
Merry Christmas and Happy New year great video Great channel 😊
Hi Alexandria; be safe, have fun & have a very Merry Christmas with your family🎄😍
When you said you wanted to head south and get away from everything else, I really felt that! I'm excited for your Baja videos. Happy Holidays to you and Terra.
Please be careful!!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! 🦌🎅🤶🎄🥳🎉

Thanks for sharing this journey. Safe travels always. God Bless Ya'll. Mucho Love from your friend in Michigan Tam. P.s. Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 n Happy New Year 🎉🎉
Hi happy Christmas to you and your family and tearra
Mexico, USA. Either county this is where good common sense come in to play. You definitely come across as a logical and level headed kinda of gal, so be safe your fellow Americans have taken a liking to you and Tara and so don't want any harm to come to y'all. Hope you and Tara have an Awesome Christmas 🎄❤
Lovely video. Is your sitting mat a partial model of the James Web Space Telescope’s reflector? Agree on finding the quiet spot - super important. Consider putting your StarLink in sleep mode based on your schedule, not turning it off. Hope you enjoy Baja. Happy holidays. Thanks for cleaning up the area and sharing your Lake Meade time.
Heading to Baja is an excellent choice! A great place for nomads. With few exceptions people are friendly and helpful. Enjoy! Feliz Navidad 🎄🎄🎄🎄
Can't wait!
Awesome video
Thank you for being here!
Good video!
Thank you Aaron!
Awesome channel. Best choice that I like about your channel- Toyota Tundra Reliability and keeps you safe! Bye
haha thank you! I am pretty stoked with it myself :)
Nice Video...thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Be careful down there. No doubt you have the experience traveling in other countries but Mexico can be unpredictable.
By the way, Mexico is awesome and the people are very friendly. You will enjoy your time there.
You would have a great podcast voice btw..in case you never heard that😊
Alex have your self a marry Christmas your friend Eric 🎉
Im trying hard to upgrade my Bluetti. Before I go on any long trips, I need more power. I love my Bluetti but its not enough power gor my new build. Loving the desert scenery. Its beautiful. I cant wait for you Baja adventures. Ill have to admit, I'm a little afraid to do it by myself. This coming from a 60 yr old that parks in the city. Lol. Please be careful. My goal next yr is to visit all of the State and Federal Parks. I dont know if I can do it but im going to try. I want to visit Alaska especially. Ty Alex and Tara for all the wonderful videos. Merry Christmas 🤶 ❤
I hope that you ar eable to upgrade soon, it has really changed everything for me! And thank you for the well-wishes, I am buzzing with nervous excitement, and cant wait to share :) Happy travels around the country next year - how exciting!!
Love your rig and your channel so much! I'm thinking of giving full-time truck-life a go next summer. (I have a fiberglass shell and plywood build in the back of my Tacoma.) Any advice for a newbie wanting to start their own road life and YT?
Im a new SUB From Manila
Love the thumbnail
Your so beautiful
I have lived in Mexico there are certain areas you need to be extremely cautious. I think Baja is better some areas south of AZ and NM have huge cartel activity
I want to take my motorhome to Baja also but like you my family and friends are freaking out.
Hopefully our travels will inspire and ease their minds :)
There is an Adult day care in Quartzsite Arizona. You should check it out.
Interesting!
I'll be in Ensenada for a day next month. On the 10th, if you are nearby, it would be cool to meet you then.
So fun! Not sure where I will be yet, but we might cross paths!
@SheRoamsWild I'll be on a cruise ship, so that's the only reason I'll be in Ensenada only for a day.
Just be very Careful in Mexico
Currently saving up for one of those Bluetties you are using. I'm going to make use of it in multiple purposes. Looking forward to the next adventure you have planned. Thanks so much! 👍
I have one too, the same one, and I live in a house.. but with power unreliable, and it's great to have a back up for the freezer (and anything else). Of course also great for camping, no question ;-) I 'm very happy with it.
Thats amazing! I am sure that you will love it as much as I have, it has really improved our lives for the better out here :)
stoked to hear it! Bluetti has truly been the best out here.
How do you keep from getting lost
Will you be safe.
❤❤
In oregon for great spots please?
hey do you want to go to Baja with Wanagi and me late spring?
May i get the coordinates?
You might enjoy making "Nature Mandalas" when you are on your adventures. If you google Nature Mandalas you will see what I mean. I make them all the time as a meditative/therapeutic/relaxing creative project. Then I will just leave them for insects, birds and nature creatures to enjoy or to surprise and delight a passerby who might come upon it. I will carry unsalted/unroasted nuts and seeds to use in mine for the birds & squirrels to enjoy. You can use sticks, stones, shells, flowers, leaves, greenery, berries, pinecones, dried fruit etc. They are quite beautiful and a nice offering to mother Gaia as well.
A word of caution that if you use any kind of nuts, seeds, berries, dried & fresh fruit etc. it will bring in insects, rodents and animals so only use those if you are planning to leave the campsite that day. Otherwise just use all the non-edible beautiful things found in nature.
It has become a spiritual ritual and practice of mine that brings me peace of mind and inner joy.
Also once the Mandala is completed they make beautiful photographs for cards/calendars or photographs to hang and this could potentially even lead to a side income (merch) for you to offer subscribers or Patreon members.. 🙏🏻💫
You are a badass. I'm going to Mexico with you.
How do you afford all this?
What lake was the first one?
Lake Mohave, on the Nevada side :)
@@SheRoamsWild gracias! Can’t wait to see your voyage to Baja…as a solo fem, I hope to go next year. (Learning spanish now!)
What exactly does it mean when a product “sponsors” your video? Sorry to be ignorant, but does it mean you get actual money or some other form of compensation?
Whatever company the product is from pays the creator for talking about their product in that video. (Some companies may just gift the item as the payment).
This is a wonderful way for the creator to make contribute to their income.
Great question! When someone 'sponsors' a video, it means that I have been given parameters (a specific length of time for example) where I will talk about of demonstrate using a product. With Bluetti, this is a paid sponsorship, and how I make the majority of my income online!
Ok. I thought that was maybe the case. Thanks!
🤍🤍🤍
Hi Alexandria, how are you doing beautiful girl, wherever you find yourself at this time, rgs ❤
I see every young UA-cam content creator, whether they are solo or couples, male or female make the same structural mistake about risk and danger. Yes, you are correct that there are dangers everywhere; however, what is different - especially between the USA and Mexico - is the rule or law and order if there is a problem for you. Your risk profile is heightened, so be mindful of that. Keep in mind what you read about and compare has zero basis in fact because countries like Mexico can dramatically underreport crime. Mexico is an amazing place, and no matter how you rationalize it is more risky for you than say wintering at Big Bend or Corpus Christi TX. Aside from all of that, Baja Vanlife camper life is played out.
Taking your statements as valid, you have really offered nothing. “Is more risky” offers nothing of actual value since it says nothing about how much more likely a bad event is to happen.
@@AbNomal621because risk is incremental based on circumstance.
It might be beautiful in Baja but I think it is foolish under the circumstances. It is dangerous. It is NOT perfectly safe. You have no protection.
Anyone that leaves trash is a roaming, societal grifter.
Please try to not join a gang while you're in Baja, I dont think you'd look that great with a neck tattoo.
