The spiky frost is called hoarfrost and those are the mornings that you just seem to miss when living in sticks-n-bricks! I needed to see that this morning...Thank you! Willard and Mill-A, WA are close to where you were at when you filmed this...I used to work up there...worth looking into. Some of my most cherished memories ever!

Don’t you have heat, I was thinking you have a propane heater, you could use the stove, etc, just a cracked window for fresh air, Love your channel, wish we had cell phone cameras when I grew up. It would be priceless to go back 40 years later, all we have is a few photos.

Beautiful places, great adventure. Be careful with that cold water swimming. I went cold water swimming in the UK in April and my hippocampus shut down and I didn't know where the hell I was for two days.

LOL! Fog IS a kind of rain. When it gets 🥶 cold, the fog settles, and everything gets iced with cool lattices. I love it, love the cold weather, and those kind of frigid mornings are a beauty unto themselves. 😊

Burr but fun through the week of travels, friends, and cold plunges. Air B&B's are the perfect alternative to truck or van camping. I loved the beautiful mountain scenery with snow covered mystery. Thanks for the well blended week adventures.

Alex thank you for posting this! Beautifully done and so great to see the wonderful scenery! Having just had snow here (unusual this time of year) and lows of 28 degrees (-2 in C) , though added windchill that kinda felt like a knife across the face I don't know how you do it lol. I just went out to feed water and run the dogs then welded to a fire lol. Could never survive the cold plunges .... Did one once and got shock immediately though we had jumped in out my depth and it was just above freezing. I was 9 and I vowed NEVER again lol lol lol. I love your vids Alex and please just stay warm ;-)
