@@MikeAnderson-uj3oo Even though they have some massive issues to deal with, I'd say the remaining hurdles are next to nothing (though I would have tried a K-member that supports coilovers in order to hack out the shock towers for throttle body clearance). If there's a bellhousing, there will be a flywheel and clutch, and the remaining bits to make it workable are nothing in comparison to the job they just achieved. The T-56 was used in aston v12s from at least ‘99-‘06. Dodge, Cadillac, Chevy, Ford, Pontiac, and Holden have used this transmission from the factory in their cars. It’s an incredibly common transmission for “sporty” cars and trucks.

I've owned several Ford era Jaguars. The biggest issue I encountered on almost every one was the wiring. Mechanically, they are built tough. And yes, I do know I'm talking about Jaguar. From 1999 to 2006 the Lincoln LS was available with a 3.0 l v6 with a manual transmission. The Aston Martin V12 was built from the 3.0 l v6 molds. Therefore the rest of the rear of the engines are the same. The flywheel and clutch from the Lincoln engine will bolt up to the crank on the V 12. I have seen both engines and when you look at them from the rear you can't tell the difference. Ford would use all the same dimensions as they already had the main parts. I don't think the clutch would be able to handle the torque oh the V 12 but it would be a start. Hope this helps. Good luck.
What would I stick this Ford Duratec V12 into? Maybe a late 30s or 40s Lincoln Zephyr or Continental, a T-Bucket, a 1940 Ford coupe or sedan, any fifties or sixties Jaguar or Rover P4. A Bonneville streamliner, definitely.
Right on QA1 Tubular SubFrame!! This one is gonna be Rad! Fun!! I agree with Fox & Martin. Also with a revisit in about 4 months to a year with hop upgrades. Sweet Bridgeport, we use those at QA1.

If I can fit a 572 BBF into my 1991 mustang then this is a piece of cake. 🍰 Your big TV days have come full circle doing your own video creations now is cool! Ford figured out the magic secrets of big engine power back in the day as piston diameter volume like a 4.500" bore is key to all top performance builds and why the V12 isn't capable of big power without a power adder like a supercharger. 😢
I think I ordered that car your working in 1989. It had a special anniversary badge on the passenger side dash Ang a removable sunroof. Brings back memories
The fitment of that reminds me of my buddy’s old S13 that had an RB26 in it. It was shoehorned in there for sure! I remember we had to hammer a small dent in the core support to clear the crank pulley.
How critical is that 1.25” driveline offset in order to keep the driveshaft parallel with the car? I remember pulling a bunch of 8.8” rear ends from 90’s Explorers and they had an obvious 2-3” offset with the tail shaft. Seemed like it’s just an additional offset for the u-joints to make up.
Tony, I recommend you put grease fittings into all the urethane bushing mounts so you can grease them, that’s what I do with mine. We all know how badly these urethane bushings squeak and you’re adding in several squeak points.

You shouldn’t have had too widen the trans tunnel on your 83 s10 to do the 350/350swap cause I didn’t have to when I did mine back in 2012 the only thing I had to do was notch the floor because I decided to slap a hurst ratchet shifter in it since I had line lock and a trans brake
Thank you for preaching a bit of safety Tony
Love the Tavarish clip, where yet again Tony drives MUCH faster than his passengers are comfortable with.
Dropping a V12 into anything makes it epic.
22:40 OH SHIT! He's got the table with the new parts on it. Power block vibes lol
Hahaha, it always scream Fast and Furious to me!
@@StayTunedTA I grew up watching Powerblock TV and Stacey David would always have like a cart with all the new parts they were putting on the project that was totally product placement. Throwing the old parts off the bench is the final Powerblock TV touch
You gotta love the old Power Block days. It was like a two hour long commercial for new parts.
That engine is the size of the car! It’s going to be so cool. 👍 You will have to remove the 5.0 badges and get some V12 badges to take their place.
Thank God you've chosen a manual transmission !
EVERY CHANNEL GOES WITH THE AUTO TRANS ! In a few short years the stick will disappear into the night...thank you for putting up a fight !
WHY NOT THE "TKX?'
more gears more better
Manuel harder to steal !!! LOL😅Hot Rods should have manuel and grocery getters need auto !!!JMHO !!
You mean hotrods with manuals and grocery getters named Manuel?
😂@@Drmcclung
@@jasonbirch1182 If you like stick, get a Manuel?
You are a mad lad and I love this project! I am so glad it fits.
you guys are great!! I have a tedious and frustrating job to do on my truck today and every time I need I break so I don't start throwing things, I come in and watch you guys grinding away on this project and it gets me motived to go back out to the garage and endure more punishment.
Love it!!! Can't wait to hear it rev out... Definitely needs X-pipe no muffler 🤪
Damn right , x pipe , and maybe some black widows
Mufflers and electric exhaust cutouts Sleeper style !!!
delusional, it needs brilliant exhaust they developed the system many many years ago. or the brazillian secret weapon exhaust that successful on doing that recently
Tony and his guys are BADASS , V8 Porsche , Sike clone p/u , 55 Chevy , drift car , sleeper Lincoln and now a killer Mustang !!! . I think BANGERS & SMASH would be a great name lol . Cheers 🇨🇦
Also a great name. Good idea 🍻
@@djk91lx28 hahaha thanks , I also thought maybe Toad on the Road lol 😆. Cheers 🇨🇦
@@mikepoint4717 you sir are far more creative than I. Awesome names.
Yes sir cram that motor in there!
What a cool project! Not to give you any bad ideas, but Nobel has done wonders strapping turbos to this engine's V6 sister. Just an idea!
Call it the Asstang 😂
The hole saw on the Bridgeport ... priceless 😂
Ooooh man, this is gonna be sweet. Cue the pizza!
Thanks! Appreciate it!
They need to keep track of how many pizzas it takes to finish each car. Obviously the more pizza, the more difficult it was.
This project is so awesome. Finally something, that is 100% outside the box! Can't wait to see more episodes of this AsStang. 🤘
That’s a FoxTon of motor in there . “full of pizza and full of hope” is my motto in the garage as well lol should definitely be a shirt with like the new hope Star Wars font and count me in for one lol .
I support this tshirt idea
You and Lucky built a twin engine Impala. Of all the crazy projects on youtube, this is one I KNOW is gonna run and be awesome!
Y’all are truly living out your dreams. Wild car builds. Pizza and cold snacks with friends. Then making money from it is the cherry on top 🍻🍻 Gents
DB5.0
Going to be nuts!!
YES! V12 POWAH!!!
Let's go!
Tony will definitely reach one million subscribers. I share and tell everyone I can about he's channel. That's what everybody needs to do SPREAD THE WORD
I love when you put non-traditional motors in caes. This car is going to turn some heads with the sound. Keep up the great work!!!!
Taking ls swap to the next level. I freaking love it. If you dont....you need to see a doc asap. Something wrong.
Dudes!! Mad props!! Just saying it... V-12 Mustang!! Ahhhhh.... I found myself saying several things at diff. points. 1) They're gonna have to cut that firewall out to let that monster roam: remains 2b seen! 1a) They're gonna end up w a 13" driveshaft!! 2) Gonna have to cut that trans tunnel: True! 3) Don't like the angle of the dangle! (motor mounts) need gussets! 4) Still have major hurdles: room for accessories, Rad, fans, steering shaft, Master cyl, (maybe under floor or electric?) HEADERS!! Carnac says: (answer): I see a LOT of Fab in your future!! All that said?? "DAMN THE TORPEDOS"!! FULL SPEED AHEAD!! Brakes?? WE DON'T NEED NO STINKING BRAKES!! BRAKES ARE FOR QUITTERS!! GODSPEED GENTLEMEN!! BE CAREFUL!!!
Another reason i have 2 newer Mustangs. One being 04 SVT Cobra terminator (4900orig mis). Hard to beat these cars!
I find this channel to be mostly adequate. No scratch that. Substantially adequate. ❤
If I didn't see this video with my own eyes. I wouldn't have believed it. Fox body with a v12. Bravo gentleman.
I love how the lighting and camera angles used remind me of the old shows I used to watch on speed channel.
Dude! Awesome project, love every bit of it. Been following since HRG, you rock and I love the raw youtube stuff!
This has strong potential to be my favourite youtube build of all time. Such killer content 👌👌
That is one nice, "Mostly Adequate" V12 install!
I worked on Astons for a few years. I feel your pain. But you will LOVE the way it sounds when yer done!
I don't understand why youtube dosen't suggest different videos more I had no idea about this channel till the collaboration with Derek but I'm glad I found it eventually
Good luck.
My favorite UA-cam build to date. Can’t wait to see it all come together!
I love this project. That engine is going to sound crazy coming out of the old foxbody. It will definitely be unique 👌
Awesome build! Waiting tirelessly for the next episode.
We used to eat cake like that all the time... awesome good. Loving the swap guys, keep up the good work and details!
Good stuff!, keep em coming Tony. Your channel keeps getting better with every episode!.
Right on QA1 Tubular SubFrame!!
This one is gonna be Rad! Fun!!
I agree with Fox & Martin. Also with a revisit in about 4 months to a year with hop upgrades. Sweet Bridgeport, we use those at QA1.
This build is insane! I can't wait to hear, run and how it drives. FYI I have a question for you. But I have a DR appointment. Ill ask once I get home. GREAT GREAT work your doing. 👍👍👍👍👍👍The number of the thumbs is a hint...
This is one of the sickest swaps ever
Tony …. You will have a Million Subscribers by the end of the year !! I’m proclaiming it man ✊
You can see the excitement. Can’t wait for the next update. Even though I’m a big soccer Mom fan!
My favorite build right now! Awesome ideas guys I love your way!
Love this project!! Can't wait to see the next episode guys!! This car us going to be epic!
How critical is that 1.25” driveline offset in order to keep the driveshaft parallel with the car? I remember pulling a bunch of 8.8” rear ends from 90’s Explorers and they had an obvious 2-3” offset with the tail shaft. Seemed like it’s just an additional offset for the u-joints to make up.
guess I started watching this before and am now coming back to you guys where you're doing the trans tunnel massaging...I'm hooked now, lol
Wow it fits, can't wait to see the beast in action.
Awesome build! You all should get a "Sine Bar" for your mill it will help out with the angle cuts.
Tony, I recommend you put grease fittings into all the urethane bushing mounts so you can grease them, that’s what I do with mine. We all know how badly these urethane bushings squeak and you’re adding in several squeak points.
