The fans are here and hungry Tony. We're with ya!!!! ... And Lucky, Cotten, Newberg, Frieburger and Finnegan. "Dullcheck" and "Magnito" (we love ya Steve.) Derrek and more. ... Do what you love.
Be aware that the MT shows ( and most ALL other non MT car shows like ST ) would have never existed if the " suits " didn't put $ up to make the shows. MT went on YT because YT gave them $$$$ to make long form shows. When this $ ran out MT needed $ to make it happen so it went to a subscription model. When this didn't bring in enough $ the shows were pulled. Steve M eluded to this years ago when Junkyard Gold went away because there were not enough sponsors. RE It isn't like a sponsor can give a product at a discount in order to be placed on the show which is a common occurrence, even back in the day of print magazines.. Tony and crew fit a market however I'm concerned that it is unsustainable. They seem to be running at a dead heat and it isn't possible to maintain that level of projects / content every week without burning out. Per a past vid, Tony did speak of VGG offering initial guidance ( to go all in ) and I hope that guidance has been revisited as time goes on / things change.

Got bored of ls swaps years ago. Dont even look at them come car show time. Remember when guys were swapping TBI 350s into old cars in the 80s, then TPIs.
Converters for the 727 can be 2 different bolt sizes- 5/16 or 7/16. That’s why the bolts are “loose” in that flex plate. Converter has the smaller bolt holes. Some of the Gen3 flex plates have 2 sets of holes to accommodate this, other times you can use machined spacers. This will likely be “fine” (just getting them close and tightening), but it’s also a great way to get a cracked flexplate. Been there.

I inherited my dad's original 340 1970 Swinger. Very excited for this. I'm glad you are genuinely into mopars
They are the coolest! So much pain but they rule.
My grandfather left me a 340 demon unfortunately sometime in the early 00's him and my uncle swapped a Magnum 360 into it because the 340 was worn out and was already .060 over so rebuilding it without doing sleeves wasn't an option and my grandfather didn't want to fool with it I'm trying to source a good block or whole long block I can use to build for it
That is a total keeper havent seen one for decades.
Thanks for the year of content Tony. Been travelling the world alone for the past year and I miss working on cars with my friends. You helped make up for that a little bit. All the best Brother.
Find a full floater Dana 60 out of a truck, cut ends off, install housing ends and brakes off an 8 3/4 donor. Axles and spool from Dr. Diff and you have a cheap, bulletproof Dana 60!
Itll also weigh more than the gen 3 hemi underhood. Throw in an 8.8 and be done
@@zacharykelly7434 With a 727 and street tires an 8.75 Mopar would be fine and they have the drop out pumpkin for easy gear swap and set up for standard Mopar driveshaft.
@@MichaelDozier-j1b oh definitely, a Dana 60 is just the wrong answer in pretty much every single use case. There's a myriad of cheaper and better options in every instance
@@zacharykelly7434 Only time I'd use it would be a resto where you needed originality.
Ohh yeah! 1970 Dodge Dart!! I bought one brand new rite off the showroom floor. I paid $3450 for it. It was the Swinger with a 340ci, TorqueFlight trans and the first NEW CAR I had bought. I blew the first engine up in 5 months,, MoPar honored their warranty and replaced it. The second engine never did deliver as well as the first however I stopped running the gutz out of it and it survived til I traded it in on a 1974 Plymouth wagon.
I really like the real world stuff y’all do, very relatable. The dart is going to be another fun one for sure!
Thank you! It's a lot easier and fun to keep it genuine!
Exactly. Most of can’t just throw endless money at a build.
Hey, I can't believe you bought that car. I live in South Jersey and had it saved but didn't bother reaching out. I just don't have the time for a roller project. I'm glad you got it. Feels like a small world when you see a car you were watching on your show!
Can’t wait to see this one running
It should be a RIPPER!
Great to see stone finding his feet on the channel and his personality coming thru , the guys funny as hell lol
all the best to the stay tuned crew for 2025
Robs Rod Shop! Helping us StayTuned!!👍👍👍
Great story about calling the seller out. Been watching you since rkg, I have enjoyed the evolution with content. You guys for sure look like you’re just chillin and wrenchin. Which is what most of us that watch do or want to do. Kind of look for inspiration where I can find it. Your crew is one ( lucky, finnegan, rjfab out in hysperia being others ).
I’ve Been working on a simple build gone haywire for 11 years. 1978 Ford Bronco. Rowdy 412 Cleveland, 31s, clean and detailed. My paint guy was able to slick the fiberglass top, no texture. Just mirror.
Awesome video. "The White Elephant"!
Damn. That took me back to 1984 and 16 years old again. So many V8 Darts and Falcons at school. Merry Christmas all!
That stone he's handier than a pocket on a stay tuned shirt 😊
HAHA yeah he's a ripper.
#bringbackthepockets
Had a good laugh at the "look over there" moment before smacking the damper with a dead blow. I've done that more than I want to admit when the installer doesn't quite work 😂
FINALLY!!! A HEMI swap haha Keep up the amazing content, BEST automotive UA-cam channel!! 👍🏻
Awesome video A bodies used to be the poor mans hot rod now they are like gold
every time i watch one of these classic rebuilds, i go dream searching for cars
GET ON THE WEB AND GET GOING!
Thanks for the video. This is exactly what I’m doing with my 68 dart. Rebuilding a hemi and dropping it in. You’re the first ones to show the flex play adapter and it helped me a lot. Please keep up with this project! Love the darts!
"Keep the Dart in your heart" Stone 2024
Awesome job guys, merry Christmas and hope to get to shake your hand this summer, im in dubois pa. STAY TUNED DOES THE BEST YOU TUBE VIDEOS OF ALL THE GUYS!!!
Merry Christmas to you as well 🎅🤘🍕
diggin the mopar content! don't forget to box those torque boxes up front and merry christmas everyone! 🎅🎄✝
Love seeing the Barb take the tension of the Torque wrench before he leaves for the night!!!!
That's a good dude! 🤘
@@stoneharleysheetz Smart man.
Stone is a trip! The more comfortable he gets the funnier he gets! Still the best soundtrack on UA-cam!
Here's the strangest thank you you're ever going to read, Tony. Watching you got me comfortable gettin-shit-done (work on the vehicles, house, etc.) with glasses on. Took me forever, but I can finally get in the mode without even noticing them, where-as it was just something I preferred to not wear in the past. It's not coming out right in written words, so I know that's strange, but thank you.
Totally get it, glad to hear it!
Dude I'm right there with you. I just started wearing glasses early this year. I'm a mechanic by trade, and I hate wearing glasses. Between Tony and a couple others I've finally gotten over it and used to them.
Facts 🇺🇸💪🏼
Glasses, what glasses? They're optically enhaced safety goggles (i still recommend using real safety goggles in certain jobs to protect your glasses.. ask me how i know)
same thing here. Cant fit contacts in and after trying them with 2 different powers (one eye is different), getting headaches, couldnt adjust or stay balanced. lol
Get a set with good strong frames then just have lenses swapped out periodically.
Nice. I've had a few Darts, Dusters, and Cudas. My 70 Swinger was my favorite
340 4 sp with 391's. It was quick until the family started growing. Keep up the good work. Happy Motoring.
Thanks for watching!

Well then
Just Stay Tuned.
Venn diagram intersection of people who make Shakespeare puns (13:55, deadpan to camera) and people who build rowdy Mopars is just Tony. Keep it up, @StayTunedTA
Screw MT and production compinies.
I can barely keep up with all the content being dropped by the crew that corporate suits derided.
...
We are experiencing a golden age folks.
...
The fans are here and hungry Tony. We're with ya!!!!
...
And Lucky, Cotten, Newberg, Frieburger and Finnegan. "Dullcheck" and "Magnito" (we love ya Steve.) Derrek and more.
...
Do what you love.
Thanks so much man. Totally agree, a new golden age!
@@bobroberts2371to a degree you are right YT video often don't make what they cost to produce so it should be used as a marketing too.
That's why content creators push their murch brand or have large sponsors for a specific build/project. The issue is when you work with the networks you see very little rewards regarding brand growth and are often paid a flat rate per video and that's it.
@@mattgraham1983 said " The issue is when you work with the networks you see very little rewards regarding brand growth and are often paid a flat rate per video and that's it "
Yes, that is because production quality and costs are much higher than smaller or independent channels and the network is fronting $$$ to make a show that might bomb so any program that makes $ needs to cover those losses. Look at the number of people involved in making a MT episode. And that isn't to say all smaller channels have have poor content.
The original poster seems to think that everything should be free / people have unlimited $ and spend it on making vids that don't break even.
Mighty Car Mods touched on ROI when they went to the USA and ran the Crusher Impala as well as a recent vid on Unicorn Circuit.

My 70 Dart GT cost me $50.00 back in the 80's those were the days!
Had the bucket seats and console and the slant six was out of it, I had a 440 for it and some scumbag stole it!😮
Can't wait to see this bad Larry ripping it up guys!👍 Yeah Mopar time!👍!
Best boots I have ever owned, I have diabetes and work Construction everyday. The only way I could work like I do is because of Brunt I am able to work through the day.
They are the best!
Bless your Mopar, Hemi in an A-Body with a 727 heart! Merry Christmas 🎅🏾
Killer car, great video! I put a 5.7 in my 69 Dart about 10 years ago, it’s a blast! When you put that Duster together on HRG I kept yelling at the screen “call me” cause I had been there. Seriously message me when you’re fitting the steering column or anything else 👍. Sweet build!
Stay Tuned !!!!!!!!!
Let's GOO!
happy holidays fellas! that dart looks scary good already curious as to which choice will be made for the hood situation take care keep creating monsters to terrorize the streets
Man I love this show. Id watch the legend Tony, Big Stony and the great Barbarony work on a go-cart.
Keep the dart in your heart! This is a crew id like to build a car with
LOL, when you said you don't have a Dulcich on the east coast, I was yelling at the TV, you do, Rob McCall at Rob's Rod shop in Downingtown, glad you found him, great guy, true hot rodder who specializes in mopars.
Merry Christmas boys!
I normally prefer old school carb stuff but this is still really cool. Glad it's still got a Mopar drive train. 727's work pretty good too.
Merry Christmas to all the guys at Stay Tuned 🎄
YAY!! A Mopar in the shop!! I've got some info for you. Schumacher Creative Industries manufacturers a biscuit style mount for early A bodies, like your Demon's, that's pretty much bulletproof! Also, 1972 & up A bodies had a snorkel style hood scoop that's a bolt on that looks very similar to the T/A hood on the Challengers also like Vanishing Paint! They're repopped & easily available. Finally, how about WHITE LIGHTNING? Merry Christmas everyone!!🎅👍❤️
Mopar had some of the coolest looking hoods ever.
@gordocarbo And functional. Even if the scoops weren't directed into the carb, it brought cool air into the engine compartment.
Finally some hemi love!
Intake manifold and the carburetor hat just makes hemi looks so good The ultimate look for these 6.4 hemi‘s. Is that or the Hi ram .
Been a few months since I've seen one of your videos, I can't relate to the chevy content and usually skip those episodes. Glad you switched things up again.
So glad you're doing a classic mopar with a gen 3 swap. Definitely on my project list. Look forward to how you handle the wiring aspect to get it fired up. Keep up the great work Tony and crew
Every time you post a new video, I am relieved that you haven't lost the shop!
Merry Christmas Tony, Barb, Stone, You guys are Awesome!

This Dart will be too nice for UT.
It is white though so...
Swapping a 3-gen into an A-body is mopar perfection. I cant wait to see how this turns out. Thanks for taking us along for the ride!!
Too often do I see good deals like this get picked up by flippers before I or anyone else even have a chance. I can scarcely think of anything else that makes my blood boil quite as much as that. Awesome to see that you were able to get your hands on it, especially for the original price!
Name it “snowball”. Cause it’s cold outside, it’s Christmas, and that project will snowball into something more
Man I hope you read this Tony really enjoy the videos keep up the amazing work and the way your sharing it with us these are swaps and builds I’ve dreamed to do and see you doing it man it’s just awesome honestly 👍🏽
Thank you for doing another mopar!!!!! This is why you caught my attention on hotrod garage. Not often to see something other than another LS swap. Please keep this up tony
Got bored of ls swaps years ago. Dont even look at them come car show time.
Remember when guys were swapping TBI 350s into old cars in the 80s, then TPIs.
Merry Christmas Stay Tuned Crew! Keep the Dart in your heart 😂 Stone!!
Stone shoulda said “there ain’t no replacement for displacement”
✌️
Converters for the 727 can be 2 different bolt sizes- 5/16 or 7/16. That’s why the bolts are “loose” in that flex plate. Converter has the smaller bolt holes. Some of the Gen3 flex plates have 2 sets of holes to accommodate this, other times you can use machined spacers. This will likely be “fine” (just getting them close and tightening), but it’s also a great way to get a cracked flexplate. Been there.
man, toyodiy has been blessing me for so long i wish all manufacturers had something similar.
Awesome to see Hemi swap content! I have enjoyed your work from the beginning - its great to see you growing on your own channel now!!! You, Stone and Barb make great content - keep up the good work and happy new year!
Down and dirty example:
“a lot of this stuff will get replaced …unless it doesn’t”
