What a bummer with the wing. At a yearly meet at our local airport, I broke off a runway landing light with my Byron powered scratch built F4. I swore that I was on the runway but thats how it goes sometime. Good thing I cut two sets of wing cores for it. Enjoyed the video, keep'm comming.
Took the wing off and did the hot water / steam trick, should be good enough to fly again. Thanks for watching, hope to have another video posted soon!
Always thought that the F4 was one of the most aggressive looking fighter designs of all time. Hope to get some better videos once the repairs are complete.
Right! This is an FMS plane done for Horizon. FMS released V2 over a year ago, but only in the Chinese market. Horizon needs to release any EDF that is not a Viper at this point
My one hope for the reason FMS didn't release it is because maybe they will let Horizon re-release it. But thought that would have happened by now. Especially given the lack of Larger EDF's released by Horizon in the last 2 years.

I really wish Eflite would bring this air frame back out, thanks to Eflite and Spectrum i finally could afforf to fly rc models and helis, im not very good at modeling or building so i love foamies, often very repairable after hard landings, and i fly for fun, not showing off a 6 month build that cost $10,000 and may never fly again if a mechanical failure or some other unexpected incident happens. My go to is tge timber, now the timber x and the corsair, on grass runways the corsair noses over more than i get it off the ground, prop after prop, im still having a blast though
no doubts! I have come close a couple of times, but this is the 1st time I have done that,. Check out the 1.2 Mustang video I have. I think the plane litteraly flew by within a foot of her and she didn;t bail, got quite a shot!
This one wasn't cheap, was listed at $450, got it for $400. They usually seem to be listed for $350-$450 if they are in good shape. This one is, just need to quit running into the Part-Timer.
Some people think they have gold because they have something discontinued. Somebody on Wisconsin Facebook has the F18 Blue Angels 80MM, for a $1000. He started last fall at $1500. You would think that after having it posted for a year you might get the idea that you have overpriced it......crazy!
I've been looking for an Eflite F4U in good shape too. Your lucky . Very cool 👍
took almost 3 years to find one that was not an insane drive to go get. 1:20 min drive to IL. Now I just have to keep it in one piece......

Yeah, landed way to close to me, lost attitude perception. Likely that was a wing stall, not a wind / rudder issue.

I saw one on FB market place. Wished I hoped on that deal. Was stupid cheap. Guy was getting out of the hobby
