Thanks for the comment. Sorry for the delay. The issue with the old harness was that when we badged in, the system would not activate the ignition and the beep from the module was slow and low toned.
@@solargarage ah, odd. See I had an issue with my original harness that if I remote started mine, it'd every now and then act like I've already put my foot on the brakes and pressed the button to start it without me being in the car leaving me with no way to turn it off, as my button was locked out and it wont scan when the car's fully started, other than killing the fuel pump and pulling the battery cable to let it die. I've got the new one just a few days ago so here's hoping the physical switch makes any chance of that happening again a little easier to deal with
@SRTmichael nah the new harnesses they sent out come with a physical on off switch that you're supposed to hide incase the system ever acts up. Just incase you need to manually turn the lockout off or use it for extended valet purposes
Hi, im thinking of buying either the Ghost Power or Ghost Lock. Dont really have the money for both. Which do you think is more important to have first?
Hello, Thanks for the comment. In my opinion if it were me I would start with Ghost Lock as you get GPS tracking and the ability to disable the fuel pump. However that does require a subscription service to the provider that runs the GPS tracking service.
It doesnt i jus installed in my 23 scat charger. With start button disabled remote start starts then jus activate system with keyfob then press start button like normal then drive
Thank you for this video.
Good product!
how is the system working for ya? i’m thinking about buying it for my 19 Hellcat before i go on vacation for the week.
Working like a top currently. No issues at all.
If you dont mind me asking, what was the issue you had with your original harness?

For automatics . This kills the remote start feature

@@mycelium1456 Awesome news to note, thanks for the follow-up and confirmation.
i was gonna buy this but i guess there’s no point now
Exactly lol, defeats the security aspect if everyone makes an install video. I might as well just steal a SRT now.
Bro forgot he owns a manual
Shit that being a manual is theft proof alone 😅 i got a manual hellcat to 😎
Thanks for the comment, always happy too hear from fellow manual cat owners.
Tooooo much talking!!!!!!!!!!!
